About: Hi! My husband and I are both hybrid workers, so we’re home often and have flexible schedules that allow us to spend quality time with the dogs we watch. We live in a two-story home with no kids or pets of our own, which means your dog will have a calm, quiet environment with plenty of space to play and relax. Since there aren’t other animals or distractions, we’re able to give your dog our full attention, lots of love, and care tailored just to them. My experience with dogs goes back to when I was 3 years old, and had my first family dog that I grew up with like a sibling! From that moment, I always treated dogs as part of the family. I rescued my second dog while I was in college from a shelter, and I also spent many years pet sitting for my neighbors, which was truly a dream job because I got to spend all day long playing with dogs. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the extra patience, gentleness, and routine they often need—whether it's administering medications, helping them up stairs, or just giving them a peaceful spot to nap. We work full-time, but have hybrid schedules where we work from home most of the week. We make sure to rotate our in office days so one of us is always home. We are able to provide potty breaks every hour! For exercise, our neighborhood is suitable for long walks. We also have a yard where we can play with your dog, as well as several nearby trails.

“Absolutely wonderful. We needed someplace to keep our boys while we went to the Whitewater Center. Daisy's place was just down the street and mad everything so easy. Great communication, flexibility, and took great pictures. 10/10”

“Jovie is anxious and sometimes takes a bit to warm up, but she seems to be comfortable with Jessica! Very glad to have found her, will definitely book again in the future.”

About: We treat each pup like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. As a family with young children who are gentle and respectful with animals, we offer a warm, lively environment filled with attention and affection. Whether your dog loves to play, snuggle, or just relax, they’ll find a happy, caring place here — with lots of love to go around. My husband and I have had dogs and other animals our entire lives. We understand the love and joy that dogs bring but also understand the responsibility and care required to make them feel safe and loved. Pet care naturally fits into our daily routine because my husband works from home full-time and I have a flexible hybrid schedule. This means there’s almost always someone home to give dogs attention, regular walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. We’re able to keep a consistent, low-stress environment with plenty of supervision and love, making sure pets feel safe and cared for just like they would at home. In our home, pets are treated like part of the family. We have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and potty breaks, and we always supervise outside time. Inside, dogs can relax freely or be crated if that's part of their usual routine or if owners prefer. We stick closely to each pet’s normal schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions, to help them feel comfortable and at ease. Safety, attention, and love are always our top priorities.

About: I have over 20 years of pet care experience. Pit bulls, boxers, Dalmatians, rottweilers, corgis, chihauhas, American Eskimo, daschunds, beagles, border collies, I have taken care of them all! I have two dogs, a beagle/blue heeler mix named Leo and a small beagle mix named Mona. I am comfortable with any size, breed, age, or energy level. I am available for overnight boarding and daycare throughout the week. I work from home, so your dog will never be alone. Your dog will be treated like one of my own (which is really really well)! During our visit, we will play with toys, walk or run, enjoy a good brushing, perhaps some fetch, and lots of petting! I only accept one dog (or family of dogs) per booking to ensure a safe and stress-free stay for your pups. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I am able to fit in multiple potty breaks, walks and cuddles throughout the day. Your dog will never be out of my sight (unless we’re all sleeping). I have a large fenced in yard (6 foot privacy) to play fetch or run around. There is also plenty of space inside to lounge or play. There are multiple ways in my house to separate dogs if they need quiet time away from my dogs or their siblings or prefer to eat alone.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes for over 15 years, starting when I was just 10 years old. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets as if they were my own. I have experience with puppies, senior pets, and those with special needs, and I’m comfortable giving medication when required. My fenced yard offers plenty of safe space for playtime, and I enjoy long walks to keep pets happy and healthy. Whether you need daily visits or overnight stays, I’ll ensure your furry friend feels loved, safe, and cared for. I’m available every day of the week, offering full flexibility to care for your pets whenever you need. Whether it’s early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or last-minute requests, your furry friend will always have my full attention and care. I have a secure fenced yard and one friendly beagle who loves meeting new friends. Safety is my priority — I can crate your dog if needed, follow any feeding or medication routines, and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved at all times.

About: I have cared for dogs for as long as I remember, since elementary school! I have a rescue mutt of my own, Winston, who is the light of my life. I have cared for him since he was an abandoned puppy. I have experience raising puppies to adulthood and some experience with training dogs (2 family dogs and 1 of my own). I have experience watching dogs of all sizes, from young to senior. I entrust a Rover with the care for my dog when I am away, and I know how hard it can be to leave our fur babies. I aim to give the most comforting care to your animals while you are away. I am lucky enough to be able to work from home currently, so I have time for pet sitting. I have 1 dog of my own, Winston, a spaniel mix, who adores other dogs and loves to play. He is also smart about recognizing when it is time to relax. I currently have plentiful weekday and weekend availability. My dog is my whole entire world, so I completely understand when people are nervous to leave their pets. I trust Winston in the hands of a Rover sitter, and I am confident that I can bring that trust to others! I ask that you disclose any special quirks your dog might have (jumping, leash reactivity, etc.)

About: Hi there! I'm Lindsay, a dedicated animal lover ready to provide the best care for your furry friends! With a deep passion for animals and free weekends, I ensure each walk is filled with fun, exercise, and lots of love. Whether your dog needs a quick stroll or a long adventure, I'm here to accommodate their needs and keep them happy and healthy. And there will be plenty of cute photos to show for it! I will make you feel at ease caring for your babies whether it’s just a 30 minute check in or a week long vaca. Looking forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members! About me: I’m 31 years old with a 1 year old amazing mutt named Loki and live with my husband named Ryan! I work in healthcare locally in Belmont Monday-Friday (9-5), so right now nights and weekends is my availability. I have grown up with family dogs and have always loved any animal that I get to meet. I have cared for pups, cats, and chickens so far on Rover so if you have a unique pet, I can learn quickly with the right instruction! Feel free to message me with any questions or concerns you may have! I currently work as a full time freelance social media marketing manager! So my schedule is very flexible as I can pretty much work anywhere in the city or surrounding areas! I enjoy hiking, jogging, kayaking, going to the white water center, and nearby adventures! I pet as many pups as I can and even enjoy pet photography for social media clients which you will see in my gallery! Scheduling Rules: 1. Please give me at least 48 hours notice. Sending me requests for same day visits is most likely not going to work out and I get docked for it. 2. Please look at my calendar availability and message me asking if I’m available before booking the visit. I get docked if you book with me even though I’m already unavailable. 3. Please have a completed profile for your pets. I will not accept visits if the profile does not have care info, behavior traits. and photos included. 4. I cannot board any unfixed pets at this time. PITBULL BREED OWNERS: My HOA does not allow pit bulls in the neighborhood so unfortunately I cannot board your dog. BUT I can do check ins and walks with them at your home. My neighborhood is very dog friendly! I have a 1300 sq ft townhouse with a fenced backyard and a nice sized dog park right out my front door. We are also located right on the Catawba River so I love taking walks down to the beach area! A lot of dogs live in the neighborhood if your pup is interested in playing with others!

About: My dog is 18 now so I have some experience with a senior dog. My neighbors and friends ask me to dog sit on every vacation they take. I love hanging out with all kinds of dogs. Ive been caring for pets on rover for about 4 years now. Ive taken care of about every dog type now and its been an amazing learning experience. Building trust with both the pet and pet parent is why I continue doing this. I care for pets with patience, cuddles and play time. You know what is best for your pet and I will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is taken care of! I'm currently working full-time at a library M-F. And I can stop by for lunch :) I understand that not all dogs can be left alone for 8 hours. So for those clients; Saturdays and Sundays would work best! You know what's best for your pet, and I would take care of them the same way you do. I love to ask questions to figure out what kind of care your pet is used to, so I can be consistent with that while you're away.
