“We wish there was a 10 star ⭐️ option here! We never used Rover before and were hesitant to try it. We had a wedding to attend, but no one to watch our fur baby. We got our 3 year old shih tzu, Hermie, 10 months ago. We were nervous to leave him in an out of state, unfamiliar hotel room with a total stranger. Kim, surpassed our expectations, squashing our anxiety of leaving Hermie in our hotel room with her while keeping Hermie safe, busy, calm and happy till mommy and daddy got back. We became fast friends and felt like Kim was part of our family. It was a wonderful first experience with Rover and Kim did NOT disappoint us. We are blessed to have met such a caring, kind, responsible human being to care for our beloved Hermie.”

“Meredith was great with my two pups! — 13-year-old German Shepherd who had emergency surgery the day prior and 10-week-old English Cream Retriever who is very high energy and not yet potty trained. This was the first time we’ve used a service like Rover and left our furbaby Wendy with someone who was not a family member. Whitney put us at ease and Wendy immediately took to her and her daughter. Whitney and her daughter were fantastic with our little girl Wendy! They listened to our concerns and followed our care instructions for Wendy. Whitney was so flexible and accommodating as she watched our furbaby in our hotel room as we were at family events for 2 days. She was in constant contact with us and sent pictures whenever we requested and often time she sent on her own. We plan on visiting Vermont in the future and using Whitney again. About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. I value the love you give to your babies, so I strive to do the same! I have taken care of a variety of animals and care for them as my own. I am experienced in administer medication and maintain a similar schedule to what you have. Research shows animals have less anxiety staying in their environment when owners are away. I strive to maintain that when you’re gone I work from home part of the time and travel the NEK the other part. I’m a social worker for my regular job but I am flexible with my schedule. I have days off on Sundays and Mondays to help with that. I follow as close to their normal schedule as you do. It helps with their anxiety and transition. If you walk them in the mornings, I will do the same. I prefer to watch animals in their home to make them more comfortable.

“Anna was FANTASTIC! We were in Essex for a wedding and needed someone to watch our 16 week old puppy. Anna was on time, constantly sent us photos, and even helped us fix our toilet in our hotel room! We could tell our puppy had the best time with Anna. She was flexible and worked with our schedule (i.e., we had a break in the day and Anna offered to take our puppy out during that time so we could rest / get ready.) We were nervous about using Rover for the first time and were SO happy we found Anna to watch our puppy. I would work with Anna again in a heartbeat!”

About: I have three dogs, have always loved to take care of dogs and am always helping friends and families with their dogs. I love to take animals on outdoor adventures with me such as hikes or runs!! I am studying for a nursing exam and have ample time work in spending time with animals around studying. I am open to work around any schedule I am needed for. I have had do all the aspects of animal care, have gone on vet trips, cleaned up messes and all the basic walking, feeding and baths a pet might need.

About: I’ve spent a lot of time doing long term dogsitting as well as drop in feeding/walks. I have experience with puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I’ll be your dog’s new best friend! I work part time Sunday - Tuesday so I am usually available for sitting or drop in visits Wednesday - Friday, as my schedule allows. For overnight and day care for dogs I am available to travel to your home to sit for your pets. For walks I can travel to your home and walk them around your area, or I can pick your pup up and bring them on a hike or trail walk!

About: I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for years. I just found out about Rover from a friend who’s been on Rover for some time and she’s told me just how fun and rewarding it is, so I am giving it a go! I have a Yellow Lab of my own “Jader” who loves going for hikes and swimming in my pond. Currently I am very flexible and would be able to provide walks, pet sitting, and potentially be willing to board on a case by case basis. I look forward to where this Rover journey takes me! At the time I am in flight school which is part time and I have quite a bit of flexibility. So days and evenings are doable. I live on a 100 acre horse farm at the end of quiet dirt road so there is very little traffic. When you come by for the first time you will think this is doggy heaven. My Lab Jader is very easy going and gets along with most dogs. Of course before entertaining any boarding I would have to see how Jader gets along with your dog. Other than that I am used to walking and hiking in public areas so walking the rec path or going up the Pinnacle would not be an issue.

About: I promise to keep your fur baby safe and happy as can be while you're away. I will provide playtime, walks, cuddles and a lot of attention. I am very interactive and not afraid to be goofy in order to make a genuine connection with your pet. Don't be afraid to leave me detailed instructions- I get it and have fur and feathered babies of my own! I am able to walk up to 2 to 3 big dogs at a time and feel confident in my abilities to give commands and appropriate rewards/disciplines. If your pet(s) gets dirty, I will bathe them as well as clean up any messes that occur. I also will keep your home sweet home neat and tidy so you never come home to a mess. I have grown up with pets and have always owned one or two.. okay, maybe 3 at a time. I make genuine connections with animals (wild ones, too) and would love to give them the opportunity to get outside all season long (even in the winter). About: I love dogs, and love to be around them! I can provide dog walking, doggie playtime, take them to the dog park for you, feed them, or just give them lots of snuggles! I have had pets all my life, and dogs for most of that. I used to own my own petsitting business, and loved every minute of it. I am very trustworthy and responsible. I specialize in small dogs, especially dachshunds, but all dogs are amazing and are welcome! I try my best to accomodate everyone! I am self employed so very flexible! Unfortunately I cannot host as my landlord doesn't allow pets (Cara is an exception). Keep in mind that during house sitting <especially 24 hr house suits> I will need to bring Cara with me. She LOVES other dogs so that is not an issue at all! I am available anytime to watch your furry companions! I work for myself so I am extremely flexible! I can't wait to meet your babies! Unfortunately, other than Cara, my landlord has a no pets policy so I cannot host. We can go for car rides though, or to the park, or a nice long walk!
