About: I grew up with all kinds of pets from birds to geckos! I have a lot of pet sitting experience and am super flexible with schedules and any of your pets needs! I have experience with pets that require daily medication as well. I work full time but I have only work 4 days a week and my work schedule is always changing allowing me to have flexibility with days and even times! I remember that when I am caring for someone else’s pet that I am in their pets territory and that I may be unfamiliar to them at first! I am always gentle with them and try to maintain a relaxing environment for each pet I care for. I always give them time to warm up to me as well and offer them lots of love!
About: I have extensive experience with a wide variety of dog breeds. I have been a veterinary technician for 9 years. I also foster for a local rescue and have pets of my own. Dogs all have unique temperaments and personalities which is what makes caring for them so much fun! I am currently employed, but looking for a change of pace. About: I’ve taken care or both cats and dogs for 14 years since I was 5. I’ve learned pets body language over the years and know just want they need . I have free time during the week to stay with your pets for a few hours and over the weekends I have can stay overnight to look after them. I will stay where I can see them when I am over and if they need their space I will allow them that but they are always monitored and if they go silent I will check on them constantly.
About: Being around dogs has been the foundation of my life since the age of 3. From caring for my own pets, helping our neighbor who bred collies, and caring for dogs while also caring for my patients at work as a home health occupational therapist, I feel like every pet is part of my family. About: I started training dogs at a very young age, and decided to make it into a career a few years ago. I specialize in fearful and reactive dogs, the overlooked and misunderstood. I have a part time job on the side . Even on the other days I am working elsewhere, I’m always working with dogs. We can always work around work schedules If your dog is up for it- I will include your dog in my daily life as if they’re part of the family. About: I have been taking care of friends and family members dogs for about 8 years! I love animal especially dogs both big and small. I will do my best to meet any requirements you have for your animal to ensure that they keep their schedule! I currently am doing my clinical rotations for pharmacy school. About: I was raised around animals, including horses and a beagle kennel. Then, I had a sweet chihuahua for 13 years that I raised and trained from a puppy. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
