I work from home most days, so your dog will have consistent supervision and companionship throughout the day. My wife and I plan our schedules to ensure your pet’s needs come first, including regular walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention. Because of this, dogs are rarely left alone for extended periods. We also have a quiet, adult-only home in a mostly retired neighborhood, which creates a calm, low-stress environment, especially helpful for senior dogs or those who prefer a more relaxed setting. We enjoy having a dog as part of our day-to-day life, whether that is relaxing at home or getting outside for walks. Our goal is to make your dog’s stay feel as close to their normal routine as possible. We provide care in our home as if your dog were part of our family. Dogs are welcome in our main living spaces and will receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervision throughout the day. Since there are two of us, your pet will rarely be alone and will have consistent companionship. We keep our environment calm and comfortable, which is especially helpful for senior dogs or those who prefer a quieter setting. We follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, and any special care needs. About: I've taken care of senior dogs and up to 4 dogs at a time. I am available to stay overnight if needed and don't have a preference for any breed of pets. I'm currently enrolled at McKendree University and am able to watch pets throughout the afternoon, evenings, and nights! I am pretty available throughout the week and through the weekend! I have a fenced in yard and love to take pets on walks throughout town and playing with the pets as well to keep them company.

About: Hi! I'm Dannie, I've been a certified dog groomer for over 7 years. I've been fortunate enough to personally love and care for special needs pets and also senior dogs. As a groomer I am always continuing my canine education, especially related to safe dog handling. My goal in life is to meet all the pups! Being in a salon management position I do have a good amount of flexibility with my schedule. I will be available for drop-in visits and walks in the evenings and select day visits. I’m also available for overnight pet sitting during the week and on every other weekend. In home I have a very social mini poodle mix, 5 years old, she is very adaptable to having other dogs around and respecting their schedules. In clients home I try to keep with their pets schedule as much as possible while providing care and attention.
