I appreciate her reaching out to me right away to let me know, and to also reassure me that neither dog (or she fortunately) was injured. She cleaned up the mess thoroughly, which was necessary to prevent injuries but also above and beyond. I also appreciate her continued patience with my two young and dogs. About: From energetic labs to more lethargic Bichon's, I've cared for a wide variety of dogs in the short time I've been in the dog sitting game. Whether it be just a simple walk for a mile or so, to bathing, many of the closest people around me have looked to me when they needed their pet cared for. Though I've only "pet sat" for about a year now, my family has been blessed to have been able to have 4 dogs in my lifetime (with our current being my yorkie bichon King Zeus), with everyone of them adding experience to a different aspect of what it means to correctly care for a pet. I'm a part-time employee at a pizza place, so most days there is plenty of time for me to spend time with any dog staying with me! I see every pet that I care for as if it's my very own, meaning I'm am willing to go the extra mile to ensure that not only the pet is as comfortable as they can be, but also their owner can entrust them in my care knowing that their little baby will be safe. In terms of the living area in my house, it's very pet friendly with wide spaces and a VERY big backyard so that pets can play to their heart's content.

I am currently on veterans disability so I can focus my whole day to your furry friend. No worry about being stuck in all day. I have 5 acres of yard for them to play on. I am currently transitioning from a 13 year Nanny position into my dream job of caring for animals full time. (References available on request) My schedule is very flexible for drop-ins and overnight stays on a first come, first serve basis. I will come to your pet's home where they are most comfortable. Offering pet care services in your home, I follow the typical routine you and your pets have already established. They will keep their routine and not go through any traumatic transitions. The best part? Your fur baby is there when you get home. Your home will also have that "lived in" look. Mail will be picked up, plants watered, lights will be switched on and off, trash rolled to the curb, and any house issues that arise can be addressed. Especially for overnight or vacation services, I would love the chance to meet you and your pet(s) in your home ahead of time. I always encourage new clients to schedule a (free) 30-minute meet-and-greet before the first booking (either at your home or a public location) so that I can meet your pet(s). If I am doing a sitting or drop-in, then these are perfect for showing me where the food supplies are as well as bowls, litter box(es), and anything else that may be needed for the booking I send daily updates while you are away so your vacation is worry free. I am looking to establish a regular client base and consider pets as part of the family.

We have fenced in back yard with 3 acrea with it in the middle of the Amelia that has been forgotten about. My dogs do not harass and have great social manners. I have a crate I can offer at your request and I am very experienced with dog safety and K9 cpr. When going on walks I ALWAYS check the dogs collar and leash before leaving the house to be sure everything is appropriately secure. I always make sure I watch any dogs before I open doors to be sure no one runs out! My experience with K9 behavior allows me to catch a bad thing before it happens!

About: While I grew up with dogs throughout my adolescence, I also have years of experience working as a pet sitter and dog walker. I spent years working at a dog daycare and veterinary clinic as a technician, and prior to that was working as a pet sitter in community. I have always had a passion and immense love for animals , and deeply enjoy being able to take on work that allows me to spend time with them. My own dog, Kaia (the Golden Retriever puppy pictured), means the world to me so I know first hand how nerve wracking it can be to leave your dog in the care of someone else. I will provide your dog with patience, kindness, compassion, and fun, and hopefully be able to ease some of those worries! I have a very flexible schedule with a lot of free time that allows me to prioritize Rover. I can usually work around your schedule to walk your pup whenever needed! Growing up around dogs & having worked with them, I feel I have a good understanding of safety and the precautions necessary to ensure it. I am very patient and understand that each dog is unique and will have its own individual traits and needs. Working with dogs is such a passion of mine which allows me to bring lots of enthusiasm and joy into the job.
