About: I have been taking care of and walking dogs of all kinds since I was 14. I currently have 2 dogs of my own and understand the responsibility of caring for an adult dog and a puppy. I have also worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility, as well as a local dog trainer where I was responsible for feeding, medicating, exercising, and playing with dogs of all sizes and ages. I take my job seriously and will care for your pet like it is my own! I'm working full time currently so I am not available for mid-day drop ins, but would love to spend extra time in the morning and evening with your pet! About: I’ve taken care of dogs of any size and age. My neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me for many years to watch over their pets. From dogs, cats, and even horses, I have kept animals safe and happy. During visits I can take pets on walks, play with them, administer medicine, and provide proper clean up! I am currently home from college right now, so I have a lot of free time! For me, pet care will be a priority this summer. I’m available at all hours during the day, aside from a couple of weeks this summer where I will be out of town! I will have plenty of time to keep your pets happy! In your home, I will ensure your pets are consistently in a safe environment. I will remove any hazards in your pet’s space, ensure leashes/harnesses are intact before walks, properly lock doors before leaving, and I can safely crate your pet if needed.
About: My previous experience in pet care includes employment at Holiday Barn Pet Resorts as a pet care associate, volunteering at Richmond Animal League, and pet sitting for a wide variety of animals. Pet sitting for pets around my neighborhood was my first job! Growing up with pets of my own my whole life has also allowed me to become accustomed to caring for animals of all different sizes, ages, and temperaments. As a college student on summer break, I am opening my schedule up through mid-August and plan to fill my days/weeks with pet care services! About: Hi! My husband and I own a farm in Amelia, VA with horses, sheep, chickens, and our cats and dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and am a complete animal lover. I work in the agriculture sector with a flexible schedule and my husband works from home full time. My schedule allows me to be home with your pets as often as they need. I have been house sitting for over 15 years and absolutely love being able to love other people’s pets like my own! My house also has a fenced in yard, and is great if your pets want to come stay with me as well. I have experience with dogs, cats, most exotic pets, horses, and any barnyard animal you could think of. We are also very experienced in senior care, and often foster for our local shelter so are used to a lot of different behaviors and dog personalities. I am available for pet sitting and farm sitting. I am looking forward to hearing from you! I have a flexible work schedule and my office is less than a mile from my home, so I can stop in often. My husband is also very experienced in animal care and works from home full time. Our dogs spend most of their day snoozing with my husband while he works. They go on 3-4 walks per day and have a fenced yard to run around. Guest dogs are treated like our own! Drop in clients can expect their dogs to be loved on and cared for as desired for 30-60 minutes per drop in.

About: Growing up my family always had at least one or more pets of various breeds so I have 20+ years of experience around animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, lizards, rabbits, goats, and hedgehogs. Personally, my husband & I have 2 dogs currently, 9 & 10 years old, one having epilepsy & is dependent on medication. I have helped raise/care for/train puppies, kittens, baby rabbits, & baby goats. The only pet I'm not comfortable with is snakes, my little sister has one but I only look at it from 3ft away in its enclosure, haha. I work part time Tu/W/Th 8A - 5P, I do not mind caring for pets those days, however I will be gone all day. Otherwise, I'm available for your pets needs! My personal routine with my pets: My husband helps me care for our pets daily but his schedule is a bit different than mine, so our dogs are let out at least within 4-6 hours those days. Otherwise, we let them out every 2-4 depending on their needs (which they have been trained to lets us know if they need to go sooner). Our medical dog is on a 12 hr medication schedule. I'd prefer to care in my clients home due to one of my dogs having a reactive past, it was quite a transition when we inherited our other dog. If you have a specific routine, I'm ready to follow it to the T! I'm comfortable walking dogs on leash, hanging out/playing with them in a fenced yard, or just chilling inside. As mentioned, I have experience with medically dependent pets. I have an escape artist, so I'm always vigilant of their proximity to me and prepared to run/chase in the event something happens. I can stay at the home with the pets or I can visit throughout the day!

“This was our first-time using Miranda and she made us feel comfortable from the very start. We started with a pre-stay meet and greet to make sure our dogs got along, and everything went perfectly. Miranda did an awesome job with Draco from the time we dropped him off until the time we picked him up. She sent us many videos and pics and in all of them he looked super happy. It really seemed that he had acclimated and became a part of her family, and they treated him as such. He also really enjoyed playing with their son and their beautiful chocolate lab. We will definitely be using her again in the near future. Draco looked like he was having such a great time in all the pictures and videos, and we were worried that he wouldn't want to come back home to us LOL.”
