“Sherry has been absolutely fantastic! She was happy to come for a meet and greet while I was home for our dog to get comfortable and accustomed to her. Our dog was quick to warm up to her, her treats definitely were a bonus! Since our first visit, we have rebooked and will continue to rebook. She has been flexible and accommodating with our schedule and schedule changes, quick to respond, and just delightful. She has taken of our dog as if it were her own, which I appreciate more than anything! Couldn’t appreciate her enough already and would recommend to anyone!”

About: I have always been careful when taking my dogs out on a walk. Never crossing the street on a green light, even if there are no vehicles in sight. I tend to keep a tight leash with the dogs. Keeping them in my sight and always cleaning up after them. I would also enjoy sprinting down the block with my dogs to get them tired as they are a highly energetic breed. When it comes to caring for a pet in a client's home I would always make sure the dogs feels safe and have fun with me I would really just take them out on long walks around the city or just let them have fun in a park with plenty of open space. I will maintain the feeding schedule given to me by the clients and if they allow treats I will bring treats

About: I have had and taken care of mine and other's pets for over 20 years. I have experience with all different ages, breeds and personalities. I have a very flexible schedule so my schedule is pretty much open and I can change to whatever I needs it to change to. I take care of animals the way I parent my own child. I agree with a gentle approach and an understandable approach. I do not agree with hitting dogs or rubbing their faces in accidents. I'm also very patient.

“Is definitely a life saver, my family got the pup but couldn’t get up so early in the morning to walk him, was willing to do 5 am walk for 2 of my weekly days and 6 for the rest best thing ever!”

“Jackie is great with my dog, Snoop. He is an older dog and has issues with separation from me. Jackie has been great at winning his trust and now he can hardly wait to go out for walks with her. She really does love him and it makes it so much easier for me to let him be cared for by someone who loves him.”

About: I have a B.S. in Animal Science from Delaware Valley University and have lots of experience working with and owning all types of animals, from huge horses to tiny fish. No animal is a challenge, and I hope to meet them all! I know Rover does not offer “exotic” animal (rabbits, reptiles, fish, etc) or livestock (horses, cattle, chickens, etc) pet-sitting, but I understand that lots of people have more than one pet, so feel free to ask about my exotic animal pet sitting as well and we can figure it out! My weekly schedule changes all the time, but I always have weekends and a few days here and there to do whatever you need for your precious pet! I will always, no matter how difficult or unique, do whatever is needed to make sure your precious pets are cared for in the most loving and safest way. Nothing is too much for me, and I will always communicate with you!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, caring for them daily and treating them like family. I’ve been with Rover for 4 years now and absolutely love every pet I get to meet. I also worked at a pet care facility in North Carolina, where I cared for many dogs and cats at once, ensuring they all received the proper care, attention, and love they needed. Now, I have my own animals that I do everything with, and I know how important it is to have someone you trust caring for yours. I can’t wait to meet your furry family and give them the same love and attention I give my own! I’m currently in the Army National Guard, and I work a typical mon-fri 8-4 schedule. But I can assist with evening and weekends needs for your pets! I will do my absolute best to devote my time to your fur baby if you book me. With my schedule I will try to work with what you want, if something doesn’t work out exactly as planned I will contact you and attempt to work something out. I love giving the babies all my attention and I will make sure they’re properly fed, let out, and walked etc.

My goal is to make pets feel loved, secure, and well-cared for, whether in my home or theirs.

“Courtney was responsive, friendly, reliable and took great care of our pup. We are so grateful for her help while we were away; it made our trip less stressful to know Lucy was in good hands.”

About: My aunt would bring her dog over when she would go on vacation and I'd take care of her. I would watch my grandma's dog for her on vacation. My partner has a dog thats now ours and I'm trusted with them. I just love animals. I'm off every single Tuesday so I'll be free from 8:00 until 3:00 pm and then 5:00-10:00 pm to come play with your babies. I'm usually off on Wednesday as well but sometimes it's a Monday, depends on my work schedule for the week. But I'll have it 3 weeks in advance to fit your babies into my routine to make sure they're well taken care of. I'll make sure your baby is fed, watered, walked and played with. I can crate them if needed. If they're good with other animals, I'd be more than willing to take them and my little one on a walk in a park together, I love taking mine to wildwood.

About: Coming from a family that has owned a dog and cat kennel and grooming service since I was born, I have learned to love dogs of all breeds and sizes at a very young age. Additionally, in my summers off from teaching, I have worked at a dog daycare the past 5 years. Giving baths, feeding, administering some medications, going for walks, or playing tug of war, regardless of the event, I have plenty of experience handling all types of dogs and cats and am willing to cater to any specific needs of your companion. I am also equipped to handle more than one dog or cat at once! Your beloved companions will be in great hands and given tons of love and care in each visit or walk, whatever you would like for your pet! I am a teacher and have availability mostly in the summer, but have availability on evenings (after 3:30) during the school year, and most weekends! I have experience house sitting at other homes than my own. I am currently renting and cannot house additional pets in the rental property right now.

About: My husband and I make a great team when it comes to your furry friends . Your pup isn’t just boarded; they become part of our home. With cozy spaces, plenty of playtime, and individualized attention, we ensure they feel safe, loved, and relaxed. I follow your dog’s schedule as closely as possible—whether it’s meal times, walks, or bedtime rituals—so they feel right at home. Unlike standard sitters, I incorporate mental stimulation, obedience reinforcement, and socialization into their stay, keeping them engaged and well-behaved. Pet care is a big part of my daily and weekly routine. It probably includes but not limited to : Daily Routine: • Morning: Feeding, potty breaks, walks, and light training or playtime. • Midday: Client check-ins, training sessions, or socialization activities for boarding dogs. • Afternoon: More exercise, enrichment, and cleaning up (kennels, play areas). • Evening: Dinner, relaxation, last potty breaks, and bedtime routine. Weekly Routine: • Grooming & Maintenance: Bathing, brushing, and nail trimming. • Deep Cleaning: Washing bedding, sanitizing play areas, and refreshing supplies. • Client Management: Updating bookings, sending reports or photos to pet parents, and restocking essentials like treats and poop bags. The top three things I provide are : safety, trust, and a comfortable environment. These are top priorities when caring for pets, in my home. Here’s how I ensure every dog feels secure, loved, and well-cared for: 1. Safety First • Secure Spaces: My home is dog-proofed with fenced play areas and crate options for safe rest. • Supervised Play: I monitor all interactions to prevent rough play or stress. 2. Building Trust • Consistent Routine: Dogs thrive on routine, so I maintain set feeding, potty, and exercise schedules. • Positive Reinforcement: I use rewards, praise, and patience to make each dog feel comfortable. • Regular Updates: I send owners pictures and updates to keep them reassured. 3. A Comfortable, Enriching Environment • Cozy & Clean Spaces: Whether at my home or a client’s, I ensure dogs have clean, comfy resting areas. • Mental & Physical Stimulation: I incorporate training, interactive toys, and daily exercise to keep dogs happy. Dogs MUST be leash trained and crate trained as I use crates as a precautionary measure and/or bedtime purposes .No Exceptions!!!!
