“Matt has been a blessing & has eased our fears of leaving our girl for the day. Matt sent a photo update & stayed in communication with us on a trial run. I know my girl is in good hands with Matt & feel so much better about my day away.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, particularly giant breeds. I love all dogs and want to give them the best chance possible to be healthy and happy! My home has been a foster for many dogs at different times. Taking in dogs in need of medical care, puppies, female dogs going through heat before spay procedures, neglect cases and senior dogs. I’ve seen it all and will do whatever to provide a safe and comfortable place for you pet to relax and adjust. I am home full time with outings that are no more than 2-4 hours for drop in visit. We spend plenty of time snuggling and pulling out any and all of the toys. I have a fenced yard and a permanent crew that enjoy friends to play and nap with. There are cats in the home that have their own room if any dogs that day are reactive to cats. Another bedroom is just for the dogs so if your dog is not crate trained they have their own bedrooms protected solo space for feeding or if for any reason I need to leave the home.

About: I am a dog mom of two rescues and foster mom for medium sized dogs. My dogs are my babies and I love them like family. I understand the guilt of being away from your pet and I want to help your pet have company and fun adventures so they aren’t sad while you’re away! As a teacher I have a lot of flexibility during the summer and love to get outside and explore with four legged friends! I currently have summers off and have day time (7am - 3pm) availability most weekdays and can help on weekends as long as I have advanced notice. I have a fenced yard and my dogs are very social and sweet. I’m also happy to come let your pet out either to play in the yard or go for a walk to break up their day alone.

About: I have had dogs and cats since I was born. My parents share the same love for animals as I do, and I think I love them more honestly! I’ve dealt with losing a pet, and adding new additions to the family. In my eyes no breed of dog or cat is superior and I would love to meet all the pets I can!! I work part-time so I will put the days I am available into the schedule! On my days off I would be more than happy to take your dogs for walks or do drop in visits with dogs and cats! I also marked all days as available because my hours can be funky and I can sometimes work only 4 hour shifts. I take my dogs for walks frequently. They are a bit stubborn sometimes (especially my olde english) but after we get walking they love being outside! The summer heat gets to them both though, so I would love to get outside!

About: I've grown up in a household that always had more than 5 pets at a time. Be it dogs or cats I've been around the bend and am well-trained with each one I meet. I'm a fast-learner and love caring for pets with unique personalities. I can also handle high-stress pets. I currently live with two cats and one guniea pig. Our youngest cat is high-stress and requires a lot of tending to when it comes to visitors. The other cat is very shy. With each of these cats I have a lot of patience. Throughout the day and beginning of my nights I'm familiar with giving the animals in my house lots of affection. I have also lived with and cared for dogs for over a decade. Plus, I am no stranger to giving pets medicine or additional care. I've lived with cats and dogs, young and old, along with a couple reptiles and many guniea pigs. I'm familiar with many practices relating to a pet's safety and trust. I like to ensure that the animal is comfortable and understood. I use patience when caring for high-stress animals and I know when to be extra gentle. I'm a fast-learner and adapt easily to various pets' feeding and exercise requirements. I like to keep my environment open and clean for the animal to enjoy to the fullest.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my genuine dedication to each pet’s happiness and routine. I treat every dog as if they were my own, giving them all the love, attention, and playtime they deserve. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s long walks, cuddles, or just someone to keep them company, I go above and beyond to meet their unique needs and give you peace of mind. I am studying for my NCLEX currently to become an RN, so I am free anytime to take care of your dog. I will be dedicate my free time to making sure your dog stays happy and healthy! When I walk your dog, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always use secure, well-fitted leashes and harnesses, and I stay aware of our surroundings to avoid any potential hazards. I take the time to build trust with each dog, letting them get to know me at their own pace so they feel confident and relaxed on our walks. My calm and caring approach ensures your pup feels safe, loved, and excited for every adventure we take together.

About: My experience includes behavior modification, rehabilitation and foster care. Since I was my daughters age I have been pet sitting and working with animals and would like to share the experience I work at home everyday but Thursday. We are available for dog walking and live close to a park trail and we are looking for a family interaction. Crate services, roaming and family integrated home. We are able to walk your animals and provide check ins. I know how animals are part of the family.

“I’ve been putting off writing a review for Sally because I’m afraid she will get so busy, because of my glowing review, that she won’t have time for my dogs. 😬 Selfish, I know, but she is truly amazing and you’d be crazy not to trust her with your dogs. The thing I love most about Sally is that she takes care of my dogs the same way I do, and I know she just adores them. She takes them on a walk everyday while I’m at work and will play with them at home. She’s so kind, reliable, and trustworthy. You can’t do better than Sally!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my whole life, as well as helped watch family/friends animals when out of town. I am great with animals! I currently work as a server here in North Liberty. I’m working most evenings during the week (for sure have all day Monday off though). My schedule is a little different every week, so I can be sure to update my schedule on here regularly. I will make your animal feel as comfortable as possible, while also having fun:) As well as treat them like they are a friend! I would love to do daycare/or boarding but I just do not have the space right now.

About: I have experience with all ages and all sizes of dogs and cats. I grew up with cats and watched our neighbors dogs frequently when they were out of town. My grandparents had 2 Great Danes that I watched when they needed assistance and my fiancé has a heeler who I watch when he is at work. My favorite place is the dog park and enjoy taking my pup there whenever I can. I’m currently working part time as a nurse at Surgery Center Cedar Rapids. I am also a part time graduate school student so I am home studying when I’m not at work. Taking my dogs on walks and to the park is what I look forward to the most in my day and gives me a good excuse to take a break! I have a 2 year old blue heeler mix who loves other dogs and would love to meet yours! I live in a spacious home with a fenced in backyard and can easily crate your dog if needed. I live in a very walkable area with a couple of parks near by.

“Sara did an amazing job! We were nervous to leave Finn as he can be unsure about new people. Sara eased all our concerns by doing a meet a greet and sending detailed updates. Thank you!”

About: I always had dogs and cats on my house! Currently have 2 great cats! We have a closed backyard for cats and dogs to play with! Anytime of the week works if I am not traveling for work. Cats and dogs are welcome overnight! Most of Weekends works for us and during the week only if I don't travel. Our cats are mainly indoor but they love to be at our back yard that is fully fenced. Same for dogs! Nothing they can be harmed with in our yard and or in house. Also, we do have 2 kids that love animals! Make sure your pet like kids.

About: I have had a dog almost all my life and they have always been a passion. This summer I got the opportunity to volunteer at a dog boarding facility and learned how to care for dogs from puppy to senior and aid in medications they might need. I also got to work with the trainer and can help teach basic commands to dogs. I work full time as a nursing assistant. I can’t have any more pets myself and I would take care of your pet as if it were my very own. I will take the pet for walks, depending on weather will determine the length as well as the pet. I would also be willing to wash the pet for the client and help out in any way I could with them.

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs of all sizes for over 15 years! We love our animals and want other families to be able to travel and enjoy life knowing their fur babies are well taken care while they are away! I have my own interior painting business and it allows me to have the flexibility of making my own schedule throughout the week. We love to include our pets in every day activities and enjoy the outdoors when/if it's nice outside! We have two animals of our own that are all friendly. One female dog and one female indoor cat. All of our animals are spayed and up to date on all of their vaccinations. We also have two young children (6 year old daughter & 4 year old son) who LOVE animals!

“Keira is great! She’s friendly, gentle, and responds quickly! She did a meet and greet with my dog who can be timid around new people and is now going on weekly weeks and it is going great!! Would recommend!”

About: I’ve been passionate about dogs my entire life and have had the joy of owning two dogs over the past eight years. I love all dogs and am dedicated to providing the best care for your pups, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and happy while they’re with me. We’re currently working from home, which gives us plenty of time to provide your pups with the care, attention, and love they deserve and make sure they are safe. We have a lower floor for the dogs with a door to a fenced yard where they can run around. We also have 2 dogs they can play together.

About: I grew up with pets and now have my own as an adult. We have 3 senior cats and two younger rescue dogs. I love meeting new animals and seeing familiar faces! I currently work part time so my schedule is pretty flexible during the remainder of the summer. I will adjust availability as things come up. Please reach out if you have any questions for the fall! Note: I can accept 30 or 60 minute walks for small/medium dogs. Due to an injury, I unfortunately cannot accept large dogs if they pull. Please send me a message if you'd like to book a walk! I meet new pets on their terms - we can jump right into playing or go slow and let them figure me out first. I'm very familiar with many cat and dog personalities and respect whatever their boundaries are. I'm comfortable feeding, taking out potty, scooping litter, picking up poop, etc. If a day is marked off, feel free to ask about the time of day you need! I do have a full-time job but have some flexibility. I require a meet & greet for drop in care to learn about your home, see where everything is, and follow a schedule for your pets. Basic needs will be met and then we can play! Housesitting services include an overnight stay and time spent in your home during the day but I will leave for other drop-ins occasionally.

Most likely, knowing she was an animal lover with a ‘heart of gold’ & couldnt resist opening up her heart & home and caring. For him. Sammy’s family currently has 2 dogs & 1 cat. I have seen her in action as she provides them and other family’s pets utmost love & special attention; as she realizes they are ‘family’. Feel rest assured; Sammy will give you family pet(s) an abundance of warm love & caring attention while you are away. In fact, they will ask (bark, meow, etc) for her to come back for visits! 🤗”

Gal is highly responsible and dependable, and I have no doubt they would provide the best care possible for any pet. They are attentive to each pet’s individual needs and know how to handle different temperaments with patience and kindness. Beyond just providing basic care, Gal takes the time to build a strong bond with the animals, ensuring they feel comfortable and loved in their presence. I’ve seen firsthand how Gal interacts with animals, and it’s clear that they treat every pet as if they were their own. Whether it’s taking extra time to play, providing a cozy spot for rest, or ensuring pets get enough exercise and fresh air, Gal truly excels at what they do. If you’re looking for someone who is trustworthy, compassionate, and responsible, I highly recommend Gal as a pet sitter or dog walker.
