“Krista went out of her way to make sure my dogs, Bugsy, Princess and Oso were comfortable and felt safe. She sent lots of photos, cleaned up after them and snuggled as if they were her own! I highly recommend her!”

“Makayla is so kind and so great with my kitty, Misty. My kitty loves her and they really enjoy each other! Definitely will keep booking her to care for my Misty. Highly recommend.”

About: Welcome! I have over 20years experience working with dogs. I like to look at my pet boarding as an Airbnb for pets! I am a former service dog trainer. I am currently enrolled in dog training courses through Rover. I will be completing a Veterinarian Assistant program this summer. There is always someone home or available. I work & study remotely. I do provide talking dog buttons. If your dog uses them let me know & we will have them available with words your dog uses & hopefully learn some new ones! Anything that is trending that promoted positive life quality for dogs I usually have on hand or am incorporating it into use Each day I incorporate daily walks, cuddles, & basic training. Basic training is eye contact, leash & buddy walking. I provide one on one time for the dogs each daily. I make sure no dog feels left out. In the summer months their last night of boarding they get a special walk to the ice cream store to enjoy a pup cup & extra one on one time. On weekends in the summers. I am outside most days . The dog/s can enjoy ice bowls, kiddie pool, water sprinklers and shade in the backyard. In the summer I offer water play daily! They have free will to come in & out of the house into the fenced in yard all day! In the fall & winter months the dogs can enjoy outside time by a warm outdoor doggie bonfire. There are areas they can romp in the leaves & explore. I also incorporate daily walks weather permitting. On colder days or rainy days we have a rainy paw day. If the dogs are open to it they can enjoy some doggy stretches, Spaw services such as coconut oil rubs on their paw pads, homemade doggie treats, and dog related movies and cuddles!
About: I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life, including part-time professional grooming and providing loving, attentive care for dogs of all sizes and personalities. My experience includes regular care for Zara and Axle (Goldendoodle/Bernedoodle), Ned (Miniature Dachshund), and Bear and Moon (Labrador Retrievers) From energetic playtime and long walks to light grooming, feeding, medication (if needed), and plenty of cuddles, I understand that every dog has unique needs. As a retired teacher, I’m patient, dependable, and attentive to routines, giving pet parents peace of mind while they’re away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m currently retired. I’d like to make pet care my daily/weekly routine. Currently, your pet would be my daily or weekly routine. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, and I take that responsibility seriously.
“Kris did a wonderful job dropping in to check on the dogs. They enjoyed seeing her and her giving them little walks. It brightened their day and gave us comfort knowing they were well taken care of.”

About: I’m a single mother of two, running and outdoors enthusiast, and lover of 4 legged friends. I live one mile from work and have a flexible schedule to be able to accommodate multiple quick trips home if needed. While working, your pet would never be alone more than 4 hours. In my home pets are allowed on the couch and in bed with me. I have a partially fenced back yard with room to run. I live in a neighborhood setting with sidewalks making walks ideal. I’m 5 minutes away from Owosso’s bark park. My two daughters love dogs as well and have grown up with dogs in the home. I look forward to the chance to get to know you and your dog. Thank you.
“Marlana is conscientious, prompt and so sweet with my cats. Both took to her right away and my normally shy and skittish Maine Coon especially fell in love. Great communication while we took a long trip, sending updates and photos. Also very patient helping me use the Rover app, which is not intuitive!”

About: I've owned pets of all kinds starting as a child! Animals bring me incredible joy, and I'd love to bring that joy into your home when I watch yours! I've owned, rescued and loved cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks, raccoons, birds, and squirrels! I currently own 4 cats, all of which were rescues. Two of them brother and sister who I hand raised and bottle fed. I also have 3 dogs, A gaggle a blue heelers, so I'm especially used to high energy pups. Though they very recently left my care due to a separation. I take great pride in the attention to detail I give to the animals in my care. I'm experienced in giving all kinds of medications, to both dogs and cats. In fact, one of my own kitties has kidney disease, and I've been managing his treatment and care 100% alone. Cooking him three meals a day, hand feeding, administering any medications needed, and even giving him at-home subcutaneous fluids. But as always, let's please communicate about the details of your pet beforehand if any special care is needed so we can make sure we're a great fit for eachother! I'm a corporate professional who is very fortunate to work from home, and has really great control of their schedule! So I can very likely work my schedule around your needs! For those whose pets I will be dropping in on to feed or walk, I take great care in making sure instructions are followed, and all the needs of your pets are met! I have an abundance of love to give, so rest assured that they'll get as many scritches as they can handle, and as much fulfillment as I can give while I'm there. I know what it's like to have to leave your fur-family alone, and I'll do everything I can to make this time a positive one for them, and you! I also offer cat boarding, which seems rarely offered. I wanted to offer this because I myself have been in a situation where I've needed this service, and I've never found a place that offers it, and it was absolutely so stressful so try and find a solution! For the kitties that stay with me, I have a completely separate spot in my house that I will have them stay in, since I have kitties of my own. The previous owner of my house actually had this section designed as an in-home salon, so it has a completely separate entrance into my home. As cat owners, we know how sensitive and stressed they can get, and introducing cats to other new cats just adds more unnecessary stress. This separate entrance and room allows for a stress free, safe environment that's large and clean to play and hang in, all to themselves! They will have their own sanitized, fresh litter, litterbox at the ready for them. No need to have to haul your own supplies here! Just bring any food and treats (or any special toys or blankets that you feel might be good things for them to enjoy their stay better, or be more at ease!) Your pets must be fully vaccinated in order to come stay, so please be ready to show proof of up to date vaccinations prior to any boarding bookings. This is for the safety of both your fur babies and mine.
About: I have had a dog almost my entire life with short breaks in-between, I have always taken care of my animals and before I was old enough to pay I'd tag along for vet visits ! I've always been the person to call for animals in my family, most recently I've watched my neighbors cat upstairs for 4 days or I've watched my step sisters medium sized dog for her multiple weekend away trips and lastly of the more recent I house/dog sat for a close friend of mine for a week with her two dogs! I'm not shy with bigger dogs I had a Pitbull/Lab mix and I now have a German Shepherd who has allergies that we take care of! I'm currently working part time making donuts overnight so I would be able to stop by after my shift ends early morning (typically 6:30-7am), after I wake up (early afternoon so 2pm), then evenings before my shift(before/ around 8pm) ! I'm available most days besides Sunday/Mondays with give and take! I always make sure pets are fed on time, they're taken out multiple times a day, even taken on walks when needed and of course playtime! I also do not mind having to give animals their oral meds or maybe some cream on the skin or medicine baths!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have had a variety of pets since I was a child. I currently have 3 dogs and a cat. Our family & friends reach out to me when they plan on going on long trips or vacations because they know I jump at the opportunity to take care of their pets! I’m currently working full time during the week so right now I can only manage drop in visits throughout the weekend. Depending on the situation I could make drop in visits available during the week in the evenings as well! I will care for your pet(s) at your home in any way that is needed. If they need special care/medications or anything if that nature I am more than willing and able to take care of it.
About: 23 years experience caring for pets in the grooming industry. CPR Certified, geriatric handling , and insured. Kind and compassionate dog fur mama that you can trust! About: I have owned dogs my entire life, I worked in the vet field for over 4 years in various aspects, I previously worked at a dog groomers. I currently have 1 dog and a cat, I used to have lots of reptiles as well! I'm never afraid of any dog and welcome them with open arms. I currently work part time Wednesday - Saturdays pretty consistently, but my days don't start until earliest 830am and I'm normally done between 4-5 (unless we have a late day scheduled). Sunday - Tuesdays are my off days outside of doctor appointments and any other extra curriculars I do ☺️ I do only offer in home services as my older dog is a bit of a rough player and my younger is in service training and I can't take the risk of him being injured. In you home, I will stay with you pet overnight if that is what makes you the most comfortable. They can sleep with me or be crated, whichever is preferred by you. Feeding will always be on schedule and meds can be administered as needed (I have a lot of experience keeping meds straight for my own dogs). A daily walk will happen (distance dependent on dog and weather) and we will play in the yard and enjoy lots of cuddles and belly rubs!! While I love spoiling my own babys, I'll make sure to keep everything as consistent as possible for you!
“Brooke was amazing ! I’m a Paramedic in Flint so I work long days . I have a new pup that is 5 months old and he’s crated while I’m at work . She came to my house and was able to let him out and play with him . She gave him some water and a couple treats . I booked her again because she seemed to do really well with my puppy . She communicated with me and I am very grateful to her for taking the time .”

About: I've had a dog for the past 5 years ( shiloh ) she's a German Shepard! She is wonderfully and well trained also is fixed. she does love to greet people so she might jump. I've also dog sat for many years as well and I worked for a dog company back in 2017 where I took care of daily task as well as medical needs when necessary, and worked along side pregnant and and birthing mothers. I have had a couple cats growing up, none to call my own though. So I am also acquainted with the care of cats and kittens as well as shiloh was raised around all types of animals and children of various ages so we are comfortable saying there should be no issues with her. However we can make other accommodation for her if you don't feel comfortable with another animal in the home. One final note I have 2 children a 1 year old and a 3 year old. I hope you enjoy my profile and to hear from you soon! I have a 5 year old German Shepard who lives full time with me and my children at home. I know how to give medication, shots aswell as cut nails and bathe but I do not feel comfortable trimming or giving the dogs a hair cut. I don't have a fence, i do have a little yard but I have harnesses and leads to walk and take the dogs out side to play. I do have a crate available if needed my dog is trained as well as crate trained. Shiloh ( my dog ) love the company of other fur babies to run around as play with. My two children are also in love with animals but I do have a vary large second living room and attached mud room that I can limit off for dog access if it would make having a dog stay here more comfortable due them not being used to children!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
