Wonderful communication and treated my pup like her own. Prior to our first visit, Lorrie offered to come to our home and meet our pup, we reviewed expectations and guidelines. She reassured me after the first work with pictures, videos and a memo. Would rebook for walks and more! 🐶🐾💛

Laura is wonderful! Great communication and my girl trusted her very early on! Athena is a Tim at rescue and often times won’t leave the house with sitters for the first couple visits, but Athena left with her all three of her first visits and even went for a walk with her a couple times which she rarely does. My expectations are getting her potty break met and to get her exercise needs met as well as a huge bonus! Will definitely hire again!

About: I’ve always been a pet person. I grew up helping take care of our two family dogs. I would help my parents walk them, feed them, and most recently train our now four year old puppy. And while younger me would likely not admit it, I really did enjoy the time I spent with our dogs even if it was coined as a “chore”. I enjoyed it so much that I would cat-sit and dog-sit for families in our neighborhood when they went on vacation. From those jobs, I gained experience interacting with new animals, administering medication, and facilitating “playdates”. These experiences caring for pets taught me responsibility but also how important it was for me to be surrounded by animals. I greatly miss being around dogs and hope to help care for your dog while you’re away. I am a senior at Middlebury College with a flexible schedule that allows me to give your dog the attention it needs. I am available for overnight stays and/or for drop-ins. I am unable to care for pets in my own home but in clients home I will look for directions to make sure the pet has its routine met in a calm and caring manner. For instance, I will provide multiple walks, meals at directed times, and play with your pet regularly throughout the day.

About: I’ve loved animals my entire life and would love to be a companion for your pets! Young to senior, low to high energy I’m there! I also have experience with reactive dogs, as my girl Olive is still finding her confidence as a previous stray and working on her leash reactivity! I work full time as a registered nurse and have every Monday off and then every other week off. I’m pretty flexible! Let me know what you need! Although I can’t care for your pets in my home, I can offer dog-walking, drop in playtime/hangouts, enrichment games and even take your pup hiking if you’d like!

About: Hi! I'm an experienced caregiver and sitter, and have cared for both dogs and cats of different ages, breeds, sizes, and energy levels. I've been housesitting and petsitting for several years, both locally and places I've traveled, and have been a nanny and babysitter in families' homes as well. I'm familiar with feeding, walking and outdoor play, administering medication, and litter box changing. I consider myself affectionate with pets and I'm always happy to give them lots of cuddles, let them sleep in the bed with me, or give them time to warm up if needed. I'm clean, organized, a non-smoker, fully vaccinated, and keep homes neat and tidy while staying there. I have a green thumb as well and love plants, so I'm happy to help with any plant or garden care as well while you're away! I work remotely and my schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm able to accommodate pet care and work around it! For the most part I can take dogs for walks, let cats and dogs in/out for potty breaks, and do feedings at different points throughout the day, and am always open to trying to make things work in my schedule. As a visiting pet-sitter in your home, I follow instructions carefully and ensure that the wellbeing of the pet(s) are first priority. I ensure that pets always have their necessary food and water, get their potty breaks in, and have human time too with attention and cuddles. As a dog walker, I make an effort to familiarize myself with the area and neighborhood, make sure we're on safe routes, and always pick up after them. As a caregiver, I'm communicative and reliable when it comes to booking and scheduling, and as a guest in your home I'm clean, organized, and conscious of common spaces and noise if you're working from home. I've worked in several different styles of homes over the years, ranging from city apartments, to suburban homes, to rural houses in remote areas, giving me a broad range of experience when it comes to caring for pets in varying environments.

Katelyn did great! She showed up on time and took the dogs on a long walk. One of our dogs is very afraid of strangers. But she was able to coax her out and gave her a good walk.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a baby. I grew accustomed to having two dogs at a time in a household as we always had a family dog, so I have plenty of experience caring for multiple dogs at a time. At age 9 I got my own dog who I loved and adored for 16 amazing (and all too short) years, so I am well equipped with the knowledge and skills to care for dogs of all ages—ranging from puppy training to senior care. While in college I began dog-sitting to fill the void of not having one living with me during my four years away from home and I have been dog-sitting ever since. I have special experience caring for up to 9 dogs at once and find it a fun challenge rather than a tedious task. I additionally have cared for dogs with special needs such as having specific eating regimens and giving medications. I currently work remotely and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to spend a lot of time paying attention to pets that I watch. I typically leave the house for a couple hours a day whether it’s to run errands or go to the gym but I make sure pets are comfortable, have water available, and have just used the bathroom before I leave. Then I let them out promptly upon return and give them lots of love and snuggles :) I available to care for pets in clients’ homes, where I will map out the lay of the land to discover nearby parks to take pets to or hikes to go on. I will strictly follow feeding regimens instructed by the client and plan to take pets for routine daily walks. I do spend a great deal of time snuggling them if they allow me, especially while I work or am just hanging out at the client’s home.

About: I don’t have professional experience, but ever since I was about 13 years old, I helped a lot with different family member’s dogs and cats; such as grooming, feeding, waking, and just spending time with them. I have personal experience with both puppies and senior dogs. I don’t have a very busy schedule right now, so I am available any day of the week that works best for you and your pets. Ways for I care for the pets in my home include playing with them with toys, petting them, walking them, feeding them with food and treats, and playing with them outside.

About: I love animals so much and would love to spend some quality time with your pets! I have 5 plus years of dog walking and pet sitting experience. I also helped train my golden retriever. I have experience with young puppies and older dogs as well. I’m currently a college student at Middlebury so I have a lot of free time to dog walk and pet sit whenever it fits into your schedule! I am a very responsible, aware, and caring pet sitter. I am knowledgeable about what is toxic to pets and careful to keep pets on leash while walking or in non-fenced-in areas. Your pet will be more than safe with me.

Alison is so sweet and loving with my pup Riley. She was able to help with a last minute walk and met for a meet and greet beforehand. Riley can be reactive at times and Alison demonstrated her abilities to handle his behaviors. She was on time, took pictures, and updated me throughout her time with Riley. I'd definitely recommend her!!
