“Recommend 100%. Karly is very kind, wonderful with our Sheena and another dog in her care. Managed them both lovely and clearly has fantastic knowlege and care with taking care of both pups. Sheena looked to have a great time. Very appriciate of faboulous pictures.”

“Christina and Jason say that 'while your dog is with us, your dog is our dog', and they really mean it. They truly understand and love dogs. There is absolutely nothing else I could want in a pet sitter. I am so grateful to have found them. My dog is pretty darn happy about it too.”

“Chloe is an absolutely wonderful dog sitter. She is attentive, communicative, professional, and warm. Our dog Piggy was immediately at ease around her! I couldn’t recommend Chloe enough!”

“Christina was amazing with my pup Rue! I had only ever left her with friends or family before and was hesitant to leave her while I was out of town for my sister's wedding. She was able to take Rue with only a couple of days notice which I was grateful for. She has a large yard with tons of grass for the dogs to play in. Rue made friends with a couple pups she watches for daycare and I felt much better knowing she had dogs to play with. She was excited to see me when I came back but also didn't want to leave. Will definitely use Christina again! Thanks for watching my baby!”

“Victoria did great with Otus!! We got lots of pictures and she was very flexible with her schedule to work with us. Otus seemed to have a really good time with Ella and Kiki who are very well behaved!! We will definitely be using her again!!”

“The ultimate pet sitter! Deborah is amazing in her attention to every dog trait and instantly creates rapport with the dog. Her place is perfect for dog care with a fenced area for outdoor fun. Deborah is a blessing.”

“This was our dog Maple's second stay with Tiffany, and it was just as great as the first! Our dog was super happy to see Tiffany and had a great time playing ball, going on walks, and snuggling with the family. As usual, Tiffany sent tons of updates and photos so I knew Maple was doing well. Tiffany and her family are wonderful people and we are so glad to have found them for Maple's second home while we are away!”

“Erica was wonderfully patient and kind with our elderly Chihuahua, Suzie, while we explored local attractions while traveling through the area. Suzie is typically anxious in new situations but she looked relaxed in the pictures Erica sent to us throughout her stay and was calm and happy when we picked her up. We are extremely thankful for Erica’s focused attention and compassion with our senior girl.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats ranging from under one year to 14 years of age. I have administered medication for dogs and cats (orally and via shot). I have provided care for extremely social dogs and anxious pups—I am confident in my ability to provide connection and care.I have also taken care of chickens and am comfortable doing so. I have been living with a golden retriever puppy for the last two years so I’m eager to spend time with some pups of kittens! I am a middle school teacher on summer break. My schedule for July is empty!!! I need work in July before going back to school. Trying to save up to get my own pup… I am unfortunately not available to host dogs at my house since I am living with my parents. I am 24 years old and that’s a bit too much of an ask. Thank you for understanding.
About: I grew up around animals of all kinds on a farm and had the privilege of owning and loving our dog, Betty Lou for 14 years. I work from home and am looking for ways to make extra money while staying active and fitting in with my kids' school schedule (9 am-3 PM). We have a fenced in yard and I will follow whatever guidelines are needed in the client's home. I understand each situation is different and each pet needs specific care.
“I know my dog was well taken care of when she takes the time to give a quick kiss to each of her caregivers! And…during the excitement of Mamas home! Thank you so much for the kind and loving care and the great communication and photos! Those go along way to help sooth mamas anxiety of having to leave her baby with a new person! Thank you, thank you thank you!”

Many sitters in VT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
