“Skye was wonderful with my cats. She went above and beyond what I expected. I knew she was going to be a perfect match when she came to meet my girls. I did not have any worries while I was gone. I even received pictures of my cats while away. I’d absolutely recommend her and use her again”

“I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care Julia provided to my dogs during our recent trip. We're incredibly grateful for Julia's outstanding care of our dogs. Her genuine affection and diligent attention to their needs were evident in how happy and content our pups were throughout our absence. Knowing they were so well-loved and looked after gave us complete peace of mind, allowing us to truly enjoy our time away. We wholeheartedly recommend Julia for her exceptional service.”

“Maritza was great with our cat, Mushki. She was consistent with showing up and with sending us pictures & short videos of our handsome guy! She did a great job caring for him while we were gone. I highly recommend her and look forward to rebooking her in the near future!”

“I was very happy with my overall experience with Rover. It was easy to set up and choose someone to care for my 2 cats when I was out of town. Nancy was great! She came when she said she would and gave me updates at each visit. When I came home, the house was so calm and peaceful. The cats were safe, fed and happy. I would definitely recommend Nancy and will use her again in the future. Thanks! :) Rose G.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Ava as our dog walker. She walks my pitbull, Giovanni, and my Frenchie, Jerry, and is so gentle, patient, and calm with them, which means everything to me. Ava is incredibly reliable, always on time, and treats Giovanni and Jerry like her own. I love the updates I get after walks, and I always feel like they are safe and well cared for when they’re with her. Both dogs are happier, calmer, and get so excited every time Ava shows up. If you’re looking for someone you can completely trust with your dogs—especially strong breeds—Ava is the best!”

“Theresa did a great job caring for my black and white cat Leo who needs injections of insulin and for my orange cat Oliver. She was able to accomplish everything needed and was very pleasant to work with!”

“Crystal is always so good with my two cats! They absolutely adore her, and they’re hard to win over. She also effectively administered two daily medications for my cat. I rely on Crystal for all of my cat sitting at this point!”

“Jacquelin was wonderful — she was able to accommodate our dog pottying needs on very short notice and we didn’t have to worry for a second. She’s my top call if we need someone to take our little guy out in the future.”

“Alina was great! Both of my fur babies were super excited to meet her, which shocked me since my girl is usually the one that you have to bribe with treats to be social. My boy has never met a stranger and was happy to have the extra attention. Alina communicated after each visit and took photos of my babies while she was there. She was available during the holiday weekend and kind enough to not jack up her prices. I would recommend her to anyone that needs their furbabies to be properly cared for. I will most certainly request her assistance again if I have to leave town.”

“Jenna has been taking care of my pups for the past month or so and I couldn’t be happier. I work in NYC, 3 days a week and am gone about 12 hours an each day. It’s so nice to have found someone I can rely on to show up and take good care of my Benji and Bailey! Thanks so much Jenna!”

“We hired Kalyna for a home visit just to meet her and have her spend a little time getting to know our dog. Everything went great, and we hired her for a home visit next weekend. We look forward to working with her!”

About: Hi there.. I have always owned a dog in my life. I have worked at an animal shelter for 2 1/2 years taking care of the dogs. I have been around most breeds and personality types. I am calm and patient around dogs and know how to read their body language. But I also love to be goofy and playful with them when the environment is right. I believe every dog is an individual and what might work for one dog won’t always work for another. I have some dog training under my belt from working with other trainers and taking classes but I’m not certified yet. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out! I am currently working part time at an animal shelter so I have plenty of time to dedicate to working with your pups! I currently only offer dog walking and stop ins but will eventually start boarding. I currently don’t offer boarding but I will eventually! At a client’s home I’ll make to gather all the details from the owner to ensure an easy transition for both them and their animals. The last thing I want is an owner to worry while they’re away! I’ll treat your animals like they’re my own.
“Jill was great! Very reliable, takes lots of pics, and took great care of our special needs cat during the Christmas holidays. I'm so glad I found her and will definitely be using her again next time we need a sitter. Thank you, Jill!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cornwall
Maya was very sweet and communicative. She was able to pick up our last minute drop in request and was very flexible with our schedule/any changes to the selected times. She stopped by, cleaned up after him, walked, fed and gave him fresh water before leaving him with a treat. She also followed our instructions on how to close his gate properly. Much appreciated!!

Skye was wonderful with my cats, and I would absolutely book with her again! She took great care of them while I was away and sent detailed notes and updates that I really appreciated. it meant a lot to feel like she truly understood how important my cats are to me. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands, and it made being away from them so much easier. Would 100% book with her again

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
