This was the first overnight after doing a couple meet & greet walks with us, and it went really well. One of our dogs is especially shy & unsure, and they did such a great job letting him get to know them, making him feel safe. About: I've had dogs and cats and taken care of dogs and cat all my life. I've had experience with puppies, Rottweilers, Great Danes, German Shepherds, Blue Heelers, Herding breeds, and small and medium sized mixed, rescue dogs. I also have a baby of my own, his name is TikoMan, and he is an energetic, loving border collie. Tiko is very smart and knows all kinds of tricks that I taught him, he is a picky eater, gets lots of cuddles, loves to run and play, and goes on all the trips we take. He loves the water! I have experience teaching puppies tricks, dealing with multiple dogs and cats at a time, understanding their overall needs (based on breed differences as well), and handling senior dogs and cats that may need additional care needs, medications, and assistance. I'm currently looking for full-time pet care for your needs - available at any time! I have a 3 bedroom home with an acre worth of yard if you need me to sit in my home. I can walk your pets, sit in your home for you to make your pet(s) most comfortable, and adhere to any feeding schedules, play, cleaning, and other needs to keep them happy! I have a big home and yard (it is unfenced but your dog will be okay if able to be off leash, or I can make sure he/she is leashed for peace of mind. I will adhere to any feeding, walking, and other needs per requested schedules, and am available to come to your home if preferred as I understand many would like to watch cameras and make sure all is well with your fur baby!

About: I am a certified groomer & dog trainer, have also worked as a veterinary tech. I go above and beyond to give great care to furbabies. I can administer medication, brush pet as needed, trim nails, do some dog training if needed, transport to vet or grooming appointments and home. There will be extra charges for these but are not excessive and worth it. Since I will mainly be taking care of your pet in your home for pet care, just know that I will take care of your home and pet as if was my own. If you just need walking I will be happy to get your pup outside weather permitting for a short brisk walk or longer leisure one. If your pet is nervous or unsure of new people, I know how to go slow and give them the time needed to get to know me. Pet sitter/dog walker has become my retirement work. I am pretty flexible with my schedule and most days can do last minute work. I truly love the work that I do I am very aware of the needs of clients. One of my past experiences is owning a boarding kennel/grooming. I follow instructions well, so even the smallest request is big to me.

“She’s a pro!! Stayed at our house with our 10 month old Yorkie who started with diarrhea the day before we were suppose to leave for Disney!! ? Not many would have been willing to watch a sick little guy. Carol is very self sufficient, didn’t need all of my instructions and she made everything super easy for us. I also loved that she did a meet and greet before we left. Oh and a bonus...she brought in all of our packages and mail while we were gone. We had never had anyone stay in our house before. “I can't say enough good things about Meghan! Our new-to-us red heeler rescue, Badger, is still learning to be comfortable around new people and this was her first experience staying in a hotel. We hired Meghan for two nights to watch her while we were out in the evenings and to make sure our dog wasn't barking, causing a ruckus and disturbing the other guests in the hotel. When Meghan arrived the first night, Badger immediately went up to her without hesitation, a perfect start to two evenings where I could really relax and enjoy a couple of restaurants with my family without worrying. If we were coming back to Franklin again, I would not hesitate for a second to have Meghan watch Badger again. Meghan is personable, communicated clearly and promptly, and handled Badger like a pro. Meghan has a wonderful, open energy. I highly recommend her.”
