About: My husband and I have been fostering dogs since February 2023. Sadly (or happily, rather), several of those fosters became foster fails. We went from having 1 dog and 2 cats to 4 dogs and 4 cats…but we wouldn’t have it any other way :) Our 4 cats are all extremely friendly and loving. Charlie is 6, Harley is 3, and Sweet Potato and Clementine just turned 1. Every single one of our dogs is a rescue. Molly is 9 months, Banjo is 7 months, Mia is 10-12 years, and Georgie is 8-10 years. Molly & Banjo were rescued with Paws of the Pines Rescue based in Southern Pines, NC. Mia & Georgie are a sister duo that we found dumped in the woods, and are the best senior pups we’ve ever encountered. My husband and I care deeply for all animals and do this because we love it, not for the money. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re in need of care. We will do what we can to serve you! I (Megan) wake up at 4:30 daily to let the dogs out, walk them, and feed them breakfast. I leave for work at 6. Jacob then wakes up and cares for the dogs until he leaves for work at 7. The dogs are crated until we come home. After work they engage in another walk, training, puzzles, you name it, and are highly active until bedtime around 9. The cats have an automatic feeder and water fountain. They love lounging around in the living room if the dogs are calm. All 4 cats are friendly and curious. Harley hangs around outside most of the day and the orange brothers are in and out as they please. Charlie is mostly indoors with the occasional peek at the outside world. Pets that enter my home will remain in the main living area with the puppies. The cats in my home are free to roam through the whole house. Dogs will need to be crate trained and okay other pets. I will accommodate their meals according to the owners’ requests. We are an active family, so walks are common!

She was quick to respond, kind, and very flexible given the circumstances of it being so last minute. The pictures and texts were so reassuring throughout our trip, and she even gave him a bath and brushed him prior to his return! About: Before I became a firefighter I was a vet tech for 6 years. I have been caring for small and large breed animals for over 15 years. I have Experience with aggressive animals as well. The best part about being I the fire service is that we get our schedules a year out so If you have future vacation plans I’ll be able to let you know my availability asap! If your fur baby needs extra snuggles.. I’m here for it! Play time? Just let me know their toy of choice and let’s burn Off some of that energy!
About: I have been caring for pets my entire life. I love dogs and will take great care of yours! Your dog will be in great and caring hands during his time at my home. If I am hired to do walks or drop-ins, I will make sure they get the attention they deserve. I work from home and I will give your pet the time and attention he or she deserves. Our schedule will revolve around your pet. I have a fully fenced in back yard that is quite large. I have a comfy home and your dog will have full run of the house. I will treat him or her like our own pet. I have one dog and one cat in my home currently. My dog is a pug mix and gets along with all dogs. If I am hired for walking and drop-ins, I will spend a lot of time with your dog and make sure they get the love and attention they need while you are gone.
