About: I'm a caring and experienced pet caregiver who genuinely loves animals. I’ve also been a dedicated nurse for 10 years. I know how important it is to care for each unique pet and give them the love and attention they need. I've taken care of dogs with different needs, including health issues like seizures and anxiety, so I’m comfortable handling special situations and making sure your pet feels safe and cared for. The dates I list as available are days when I or my spouse are off from work and home 100%. As I work part-time as a nurse (2 days/week), I have plenty of time to play with your pups and give them the attention they need during our available days. My husband, Paul, and I are in our 30s and have lived in Silverthorne for the past 6 years. I’m a nurse, while he’s an environmental scientist. We love the outdoors and enjoy exploring the beautiful trails around our home. Although I am newer to Rover, I bring years of hands-on experience caring for dogs with various needs. My husband and I have both cared for pups in every stage of life. We are fully dedicated to providing your pet with the love and care they deserve. We live in a clean, pet-friendly, spacious 3-bedroom duplex (no roommates). Our shared yard is smaller, but the surrounding walkable areas have plenty of trails for outdoor adventures and exercise year-round — summer or winter! I currently have one dog of my own, who is older and very good with other pups. He’s a calm, friendly guy and will make your dogs feel at home with us. I am experienced in managing multiple pets and ensuring everyone feels safe and loved. As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and compassionate. I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. If you think I might be the right fit for your furry friend, I’d love to chat or set up a meet-and-greet!

About: Hi, I’m Shannon! Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Living in Copper Mountain, I love taking pups on walks and adventures that keep them happy, healthy, and engaged. Whether it’s a quick drop-in visit, a long mountain walk, or cozy downtime for older pets, I adapt to each pet’s personality and needs. I have hands-on experience with feeding routines, basic medications, and understanding the different needs of high-energy vs. easy-going pets. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are in caring, capable hands while you’re away! Above all, I treat every animal like my own, with plenty of love, attention, and reliability you can count on! My schedule is very flexible! I work in Center VIllage at Copper Mountain, which makes it easy for me to pop by for quick visits during the day, and I’m available for long walks or extended care before and after work. This flexibility allows me to fit pet care seamlessly into my daily routine while giving your pets the time and attention they deserve. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets in your home. I treat your space and pets with the utmost respect, following your instructions carefully to ensure their routine stays consistent. I keep a close eye on pets during visits, making sure they’re comfortable, hydrated and secure at all times. Communication is key, so I provide updates to keep you connected and confident that your pets are in good hands.

About: I used to have a cat for 12 years. I am experienced watching my friends dogs in my house for a max of 2 weeks. Your animal will get a lot of attention because I am at home all day. My townhome has 1 roomate, and I have quiet neighbors so your animal shouldn’t have anxiety staying with me.

About: I’m a responsible and caring animal lover you can count on to take great care of your pets. I am 45 years old, a non-smoker, who grew up with pets since I was 3. I have cared for dogs (of all sizes) and cats on and off for 17 years. I started caring for others' pets as a teenager living in Manhattan. I love animals and miss having my own, which is why I am interested in caring for your pet while you are away. I’ve been a pet owner, so I know how important it is to find the right fit to care for your loved ones. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, overnighting, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet like they’re my own. My schedule is flexible and available to care for them any day of the week. At your home, I will bring the things I need to stay and care for your pets, as well as follow all instructions for a smooth, successful visit.

About: I grew up in a home with two dogs — a loyal German Shepherd and a playful Husky mix — and have been around horses my entire life. Animals have always been part of my world. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, and care for their pets with love and attention. Right now I’m taking the summer off after working a tough winter season at a ski resort. I’m using this time to focus on my college education — and I’d love to spend it caring for animals! I live in a cozy studio near lots of beautiful trails and hiking spots — perfect for active dogs who love the outdoors! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect I would my own. I always leave the house clean and tidy, and never leave behind a mess. You can count on me to care for both your pet and your home with responsibility and care.

“We highly recommend Derek!! We asked him last minute to walk our 2 dogs. We love them, but 1 can be a little high maintenance.. ok, both can be high maintenance. Either way, he did an amazing job meeting them without us & it was obvious he did a great job & treated them very well.”

About: I have always loved dogs! I have an 11 year old family labradoodle back in Minnesota and I also helped take care of my roommate's border collie while I was in college. Additionally, in high school, I volunteered at the Animal Humane Society as a dog walker and I also worked at the Petsmart PetsHotel, where I spent my entire days entertaining dogs. During my time in Colorado, I've been working with dogs at Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue and Dumb Friends League as well as dog sitting/walking regularly. I graduated from the University of Denver in 2019 and I'm currently living in Breckenridge as a ski instructor and working at a sushi restaurant. I can't have my own dog in my house (landlord rules), so I would love to hang out with your dog! During the summer I just work at a restaurant in the evening. I work Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:30-9ish. Other then that I’ll be around all day! I will make sure your fur baby's safety is my top priority. This means always using a leash unless your yard is fenced in or the dog has great recall. It's important to me to know if your dog is on medication and when/how to administer it as well as knowing what food and treats are okay for your pet to have.

“Kristina did great work with our dogs! She walked and spend quality time with the dogs. I appreciate that she sent photos and updates regarding how things were going with our furbuddies. We won't hesitate to use her services in the future.”

Shannon M.

“I can't say enough good things about Dan as a dog sitter! He is truly amazing with pets and has such a huge heart for both dogs and cats. I always feel at ease knowing that my Rottweiler, Whiskey, is in such great hands when I need to go out of town. Dan goes above and beyond to take care of him – he not only makes sure he's well-fed and safe but also takes him on plenty of walks to keep him entertained and active. The best part? He even snaps the cutest photos of Whiskey, which I absolutely love! Every time I mention we’re going to Dan’s house, Whiskey’s tail goes wild with excitement – it’s clear he’s thrilled to spend time there. Dan’s updates are always so consistent, and they give me so much peace of mind. It’s reassuring to know he’s not just being cared for, but also having a great time. Having a safe, loving place for my dogs when I’m away is incredibly important, and Dan’s care makes all the difference.
