“Joan was everything we could've hoped for with you Rover. She watched our 3 dogs and they seemed to have nothing but fun while staying at Joan's. She consistently provided us pictures, videos and updates on all 3 dogs, and maintained our outlined care and feeding schedule. 10/10 would go to Joan again and recommend her services to anyone looking for a Rover in Fort Collins.”

“Jen watched our active, exuberant year and a half old Irish setter for a week while we were out in Breckenridge and traveled around for a week. Jen is a great communicator and goes out of her way to make you feel ok about leaving your dog with a complete stranger. She sent us a few pictures during the week and responded promptly if I needed to check in. Jen is busy with two small children and work…but is organized and will take good care of your fur baby. Can’t thank her enough?—D.C”

“Jenna took such good care of my dog, taking him on a great hike for the day I needed her to watch him (even with a short notice of needing her sitting help) Very happy and would recommend!”

“Sara was amazing. Sarah demonstrated exceptional communication and flexibility. She kept us informed on Yanni's day-to-day activities and took excellent care of Yanni as if he was her own. Sara 's proximity to main Street Breckenridge was so convenient and she took the time to walk and exercise Yanni each day. Sara is an amazing person and we will definitely rebook with her in the future.”

“Tracy made our old arthritic dog so comfortable. Our dog really liked her and listened to her. It was so good to know she was in good hands. Our dog was happy to see us, but not over the top, so we know she enjoyed herself and got lots of attention.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have helped friends with everything from basic puppy training to caring for senior dogs. I currently have a senior Labrador, so I’m very familiar with administering medications and providing gentle, attentive care. Whether your dog loves an active day of hiking or prefers a relaxed afternoon at home, I’m happy to match their pace and keep them feeling happy, safe, and loved. I have a very open schedule on weekends and at the start of the week, making it easy to give your pets the time and attention they deserve. Send me a message anytime, and we can work out the best plan for your needs. I welcome dogs into my home as if they were my own. With a fully fenced yard, they have a safe place to play, and I’m happy to take them on mountain adventures if they love to explore. For senior dogs or pups who prefer a slower pace, I provide a cozy, comfortable environment where they can relax and feel at home.

About: I volunteer at the Frisco animal shelter so I have experience with puppies, seniors, reactive dogs and everything in between. I’ve also owned two dogs through their whole lives and have done some dog sitting on the Trusted Housesitters website. I work as a firefighter/ paramedic, so every day I wind up in people's homes on 911 calls, and often they have dogs, and it takes every bit of my self control to stay focused on the emergency at hand, and not get down on my knees and reassure the dogs and give them love. I'm a dog person through and through. Currently I own no dogs, so I get my fix through dog sitting and volunteering. My work schedule is 48 hour shifts, and then I have a block of 4 days off. Some of those days I go on climbing adventures, and some of those days I chill around the house. Those are the days I open my calendar up for dog sitting, so, your dog(s) won't ever be left alone. I'm happy to have the company as I putter around the house and do chores. I love to hike year round and I will take your dog with me, if they're up for it. If a mosey two houses down is all your old dog can do, I'm happy to do that too. I live in a ground floor condo at the very end of a sleepy street and there are open spaces and trails all around me. I also like to hop in the car and drive just a few minutes to lots of other trailheads nearby to get the dogs out - of course only if you're ok with that. Dogs can sleep on my bed and on my couches. I don't take on more than one dog at a time (unless they are from the same household), so your dog will have my full attention and love. Whatever their normal schedule is for food, medications, treats, bathroom, exercise etc. I will have no problem keeping them to their normal routine. I live alone in a quiet and uncluttered space where I'm sure your dog will feel right at home.

About: I used to have a cat for 12 years. I am experienced watching my friends dogs in my house for a max of 2 weeks. Your animal will get a lot of attention because I am at home all day. I work at home 8-4 so your pet should have all the attention they need. For dogs, I will give them walks 3x a day. I have a yard for well trained dogs to play in. My townhome has 1 roomate, and I have quiet neighbors so your animal shouldn’t have anxiety staying with me.

“I can't say enough good things about Dan as a dog sitter! He is truly amazing with pets and has such a huge heart for both dogs and cats. I always feel at ease knowing that my Rottweiler, Whiskey, is in such great hands when I need to go out of town. Dan goes above and beyond to take care of him – he not only makes sure he's well-fed and safe but also takes him on plenty of walks to keep him entertained and active. The best part? He even snaps the cutest photos of Whiskey, which I absolutely love! Every time I mention we’re going to Dan’s house, Whiskey’s tail goes wild with excitement – it’s clear he’s thrilled to spend time there. Dan’s updates are always so consistent, and they give me so much peace of mind. It’s reassuring to know he’s not just being cared for, but also having a great time. Having a safe, loving place for my dogs when I’m away is incredibly important, and Dan’s care makes all the difference. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving dog sitter!”
