2. Sarah K.

“Sarah went above and beyond by far to care for our cats while we were gone for a couple weeks. She did much much more than what was asked of her.”

3. Alison H.

“Alison has been so wonderful and the cats could not be happier! She provides amazing updates and photos to let you know how your fur babies are doing! 1,000% recommend her and will be reaching out to Alison going forward for all future cat sitting opportunities!”

4. Hannah E.

“My sitter was on Spring break this past week and I needed to find someone to drop in midday and let Calvin out. Calvin can be a bit distrustful of strangers but he immediately responded to Hannah’s positive energy at their meet and greet. Hannah dropped in daily at lunchtime all week. She was always on time and sent updates immediately after each visit. It is great knowing I can trust and depend upon her and will definitely use her in the future”

5. Collette B.

“Collette has cared for my pets before and she did an awesome job. She has also been a rescue mom and had a dog, cats, a guinea pigs to name a few. She is loving and will do an awesome job caring for any type pet in my opinion.”

6. Ann S.

“Ann was super dependable and I trust her in my home!”

7. Stacey T.
“Stacey has 3 large dogs of her own. Having that many dogs is a LOT. Not to mention they’re all energetic doodles that can be a handful most of the time. However, Stacey handles them well. She’s always giving them pets and hugs and talking to them like they’re her children. She does the same with her friends’ dogs too. She would take great care of your dog and never let them feel like they’re alone when you’re gone. I would and have trusted her with any of my pets (1 cat and a bunny).”

8. Haley R.

“Haley always does fantastic with our dogs! We trust that she shows up when we need her to and she’s not scared off by our dogs crazy barking! Highly recommend!”

9. Kamela S.

“Kamela is wonderful! I am a new puppy parent and I’m lost but she is great at holding my hand during this process with encouragement and helping me reinforce what I’ve been doing with my pup. I can definitely tell that she enjoys what she is doing and loves my little guy. She keeps me updated throughout the day and lets me know how great the visit is going and if my little guy has done anything new. I’m so happy I found Kamela on Rover ?”

10. Geneva T.
About: I've had a small Shih Tzu/Toy Poodle dog for 10 yrs and cats on and off throughout my life. I had my most recent cat for 15 yrs until she passed in 2023. I work full-time, but have availability often in the afternoons, evenings and many weekends. I occasionally have flexibility through the work week as well. That being said, I am happy to work with you to accommodate your pet's schedule. I unfortunately cannot bring others' pets into my home or offer overnight house sitting due to my own pets, however, I am happy to work with you to ensure your pet stays on their schedule in your home where they are most comfortable.

11. Emily R.

“Emily was great! She had an issue with her transportation but immediately had a backup plan so anyone who books with her can have no worries that she is super responsible and not going to back out at the last minute. She posted photos and we could see what time she was there which was also very reassuring. One of our dogs doesn't eat well when we are gone and he had no problems with Emily. She really loves animals and your pets will get that vibe from her too! Another thing was that one of our dogs can sound really scary when people come to the door and Emily was not intimidated and did really well with that and made friends with her! I would definitely recommend Emily to anyone looking for a dog sitter in our area.”

12. Darcie B.

“Darcie went above and beyond. She really tried hard to understand my dogs’ needs (they are older dogs). I will definitely rebook her, if she wants the job.”

13. Julia A.
About: I have worked with dogs my whole life my papa is a dog trainer and currently my dog knows a lot of tricks. She knows sit, stay, leave it, sit pretty, paw, down, roll- over, seek and how to open doors. If you would like I can try to work with your dog on some tricks when I’m there. I am open to anything. I also love running and I was a college runner. I can run with your dog if you would like me to or just take them on walks. I am here for you and I am open to anything. I am currently working part-time and taking some summer courses. I have a lot of free time and I own a bouvier des Flandres my self. She is my baby and I love animals! I currently have a fenced in yard for my dog. However, I usually like traveling to your home I feel like it’s easier for the animal and they are used to that specific environment. I don’t mind doing walks, drop-in visits or even staying over whatever is easier for you and your pet. :)

14. Graham B.

“Always the true test - the pups are completely non-plussed and bored upon our return. Thank you Graham for taking such great care of them and going above and beyond. Knowing our pups were well taken care of is a weight off our shoulders. Thank you!!!!”

15. Alex G.

“Alex worked with JJ and taught him to set which is huge for him since he is a little stubborn?”

17. Nicole V.
About: With a passion for all animals, I have experience working with a wide variety of ages, breeds, and sizes of dogs. I understand that every pet has its own unique personality and requirements, which is why I tailor my care to suit each one individually. Whether it's gentle training for a new puppy, administering medication to a senior pet, or providing extra comfort to shy or anxious animals, I take the time to ensure your pet feels safe, loved, and engaged. I’m also committed to providing plenty of mental and physical stimulation, whether it's through play, walks, or quiet bonding time. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority! I am currently working part-time which leaves plenty of time for pet care! I work evenings/nights so I am mostly available earlier in the day and afternoon. I have one friendly, older dog who gets along perfectly with other dogs and one antisocial cat who won't be apart of the welcoming committee to new animals but is not bothered by them whatsoever.

18. Cole Allen B.

“Cole was put in a situation that could have ended badly for all involved. The neighbors let their dog roam knowing it’s history as an aggressive dog. Cole was quick thinking and handled the situation very well. His communication and quick action saved the day. I can’t say enough about Cole and his professionalism and communication”

19. Nicole & Evan T.

About: Hello! My name is Nicole, and I recently moved to the Martinsville area and am reopening my pet sitting business. I’ve been providing professional pet care for dogs and cats since 2016, and my boyfriend, Evan, and I are excited to continue offering services here. We're animal people. We share our home with two senior cats and a playful young Basset Hound named Banjo. I am a nurse by profession, so I’m comfortable giving all types of medications. My boyfriend, Evan, works from home, which means there’s always someone around to give your pets undivided attention, frequent walks, and potty breaks. We're well-experienced with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. The dogs we sit in our home must be comfortable with cats and other dogs. We offer a calm, quiet environment for docile, shy, or senior dogs, and for young or active dogs, we can provide a fun and playful atmosphere. We're also comfortable reinforcing any obedience or training you've been working on, so your pet won't miss a beat. If you're looking for a safe, loving home for your pet while you're away, we'd be honored to take care of them! Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a meet-and-greet. My partner and I work from home so we are here and very attentive to all pets that we board. We're familiar with basic dog training, obedience, and safety. We live on a quiet farm in a small house. The area is really quiet and not close to any main roads. We prioritize safety for our pets and boarders
