About: Drop ins: With drop ins, I don't believe in quick stops and feel that a minimum of 10-15 mins are best for fur baby happiness. Walks: I have been walking dogs since our first family pet, when I was 16. I have also cared for dogs who only do their business on walks, so I have learned to be patient. Extra Info: I have experience caring for deaf pets. My dog was born deaf and I have worked to develop a communication system with him to promote happiness and safety. ** My dog will not be present at any time I am with your pet. I work from home so I have some flexibility in my day and can do all of my work right next to a fur baby if needed! I'm probably going to be way more obsessed with your fur baby than they are with me! Even the cats that make me watch them from around corners like a spy!

“Alyssa was great with the dogs. She was on time and took pictures of each visit. She communicated with me every day that I was away, giving me some peace of mind. Both of my dogs absolutely loved Alyssa and her husband!”

About: Since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to help animals. I have volunteered with rescues and shelters my whole life. I have been fostering dogs for the past almost 6 years and also spend a lot of my free time volunteering. I also spent some time after college working at a reputable doggie daycare up in Maine where I’m originally from. I am a passionate animal advocate and promise to treat your pet with the same care and compassion that I show my own babies! ❤️ There is no request too odd or too specific. I tailor my services to your pets individual needs and strive to make their time away from you as seamless as possible. I currently work from home so depending on proximity, can do morning, lunch, dinner and evening drop in visits. My schedule is flexible, however I do work from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday. I always try to do a meet and greet prior so you can show me exactly how your pet should be cared for. I will follow your instructions very closely and am willing to make whatever adjustments needed during their time with me. My goal is to make them as comfortable as possible. I can promise you they will be safely supervised and spoiled under my care!

About: I have always had dogs ever since I could remember, my first experience having full responsibility over a dog was when I was 13 my father got me a beautiful golden colored German shepherd named Bailey, I walked, Fed, trained, and played with her everyday. she eventually gave birth to 8 pups which were given to family, and we kept one a solid black beautiful pup we named cici, though it was hard I again was given the responsibility for raising her as well. I will be starting out part time, working weekends and holidays. Which will give me an ample amount of time to play and care for your pets. During weekdays I typically am home from 7am to 3pm and my wife is home from 4pm to 8am. Your pets will never be left alone unless it is unavoidable. I have one husky named Zoe she’s usually never in her cage, she’s let outside to potty and run around typically every 2 hours, and once a day are let outside for about 30mins to an hour to run around and play. We feed her about 2 cups of food a day which is the preferred amount for them, and she constantly has a full bowl of water. She’s got plenty of toys for sharing, and loves playing with other dogs. I also have 2 cats, Shushi the oldest tends to keep to herself, Mocha my youngest is rambunctious and loves playing.

“Aiyana was by far the best dog walker we have ever used. Not only did she care for our dogs as if they were her own, she went above and beyond what was expected. Aiyana is super meticulous and follows all instructions to a T. We will definitely be using her as our primary dog walker going forward & highly recommend her! Thank you, Aiyana for putting our minds at ease when we traveled out of the state!”

About: Ive been with Rover in Mount Pleasant for over a year. I recently moved to Beaufort. I’ve personally had dogs for 50+ years. I’m a retired chiropractor but still have a home clinical nutrition practice. It’s just myself and my elderly Great Pyrenees, Kiera. As Bill Murray says; I trust a dog that doesn’t like a human, but I don’t trust a human that doesn’t like a dog. I’m retired so I’m home most of the time. I enjoy spending time with my dog Kiera and look forward to having company for her. I’ve been with Rover in Mount Pleasant for over a year. I recently moved to Beaufort. About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. As I hope you can tell, I will not only provide what your pet needs to survive, but I will also provide him/her with special attention and love. I look forward to meeting with both you and your pet! Until then, take care! I will be able to fulfill any house/pet sitting duties without any issues, as I am able to balance my obligations responsibly and with respect to myself and those that hire me. While pet/house sitting, I will abide the rules given to me. This could include when they play, where they sleep, any medications needed, when to eat, etc.

About: I love being outside with all the animals or just lounging around the house. I love going for walks and taking the dogs to the park. I will treat your pet like a member of my own family. They will be loved and cuddled. I have owned dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, reptiles, amphibians. I will give your pet great companionship while your at work or away on vacation. My schedule is very open. I work from home so I'm very flexible. I can get up with your animals schedule so they stress out. From either having someone new stay there if they are with me at my place. If that means having to get up at 4am to take them to go outside I'll be there. I will care for your fur babies like they are my own kiddos. I will make sure they have ample times to go out for bathroom breaks and TONS of playtime as well.

About: I’ve had multiple dogs and cats since I can remember. I love pets and making new friends. I know what it’s like to need someone to take care of your babies, and how unsettling it might be. I have a fully fenced yard and space for your babies to run and play! I truly love playing with dogs and will do my best to keep them busy.

About: Aside from taking care of my 5 dogs, Ive been taking care of my neighbors and friends dogs for 7 years. I will love and care for your fur baby as if it were one of my own but don’t take my word for it ask your dog! With in my full time job, my schedule is very flexible giving me the time to walk your pets early mornings, mid afternoons, late afternoons and evenings. I follow instructions and I’m task oriented. About: I have had dogs for almost my entire life and absolutely love each new dog I meet! My husband Edgar and I want to build our business for the love of dogs and lovable creatures alike. I send lots of pics during your trips & make sure each pup feels the same love they do in their own home, no matter the size or how much slobber! We have one adorable pup named Truffles! He’s an alpine spaniel-beagle mix who loves attention especially from other dogs! We look forward to meeting new dogs and owners. I hope to hear from you, we want to take care of your furbaby!❤️ We have knowledge on food aggression and feed your dogs separately to ensure nothing may happen. I'm currently a student and complete my courses from home so I am always there to be with your pets. We go to dog parks as often as we can, as well as walks, potty breaks and trips to our residence’s pet friendly areas. Our pup loves to play outside! She has one dog of her own and I've never seen a happier little dog then her Meatball... I feel that any animal would be lucky to have someone like Paris be their caretaker. I know she would treat the other animals with nothing but care and love”

“Sabrina’s love for dogs is apparent in everything she does. When we adopted a puppy from the rescue she volunteered at (and fosters dogs with!), she graciously agreed to take care of Ruben for us for a week until we could get down to NC to pick him up. She sent us photos and videos every day which was above and beyond. She really cares about dogs and gives them a safe space to be loved and cared for. I couldn’t recommend her higher!”

Casey was a great help and truly loves all animals. She is very friendly and courteous to humans as well as animals. LOL! Casey would not only enhance the lives of the pets she is caring for, but the lives of their owners as well by giving them peace of mind. Their pets will be expertly cared for, so they can go to work, run errands, visit family, or go on vacation knowing their furry, scaled, or feathered loved ones are being treated with respect and lots of love and attention.”

Jill T.

“Jill has a real talent with pets. Maybe it’s the way she notices them? My doggies, when they were puppies and when they were old, loved her. They always perked up when she was around. And I’ve seen this with other people’s pets as well. She’s worked in many different animal environments throughout her life, such as interning at a zoo and animal hospitals and veterinary clinics. Jill has a lot of experience and really knows how to take care of them. See if you can get her to take a picture, too. She’s a pretty darn good animal photographer!”
