“I booked my two cats for boarding over six nights. My Mamacat is 17+ years old. Patch is 11+, diabetic and requires a daily insulin injections. They are 100% indoor cats. Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”

About: Not only have I raised and kept animals all my life, including my own bundle of cats and a dog that I currently call family, I have also worked several years professionally caring for animals in day cares, boarding houses, and even get clinics. I am well versed in making sure animals get their medicine as they are required, and just ensuring the animals are happy and comfortable. I work early in the morning but I am off by 1 pm most days, allowing for lots of time for play or companionship in the afternoons! If you are close to my work (within ten miles) I will be able to play for a bit in the mid morning too! I am not able to do any boarding (I currently house 4 cats and a dog), but I am very flexible with following any guidelines or requests! I am able to administer pills to both cats and dogs, and love to spend time either cuddling or playing with animals.

About: I've grown up around dogs my whole life, but didn't adopt one of my own until 4 years ago. I trained her myself using tips from trainers on YouTube, and she's done quite well. I have dog-sat for friends over the years and bonded with each of them. Growing up around dogs all my life, I've seen a litter born and raised, I've said goodbye to good friends, and I've got experience with administering medicine and applying bandages. I am looking forward to looking after your best friend and fur baby and providing you with a paw-sitive experience! I currently work part-time, so I can be available given a couple of days notice so that I can make proper arrangements for my dog Sadie if necessary. I am capable of walking a medium to small dog on a leash, provided they are at least a little leash trained. I completely understand the need to keep things as "normal" for your pets as possible, and would like to know what treats, food, and commands you are used to using. If you'd like me to stay in the home with your pet, I would also like to know what other routines to follow so I can give your fur baby the best I can.

About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs since I was 6. My first ever dog was a pitbull and since then I’ve take care of numerous more as well as Great Danes, chihuahuas, labs, poodles, German shepherds, and can do any other types of dogs! I’ve taken care of them my whole life which included feeding, walking, bathing, playing with, and giving them medicine as needed. I’m currently working part time and in college. I will usually only be available on weekends but that can change which is why I will need a week in advance notice. I can take care of them for a few hours at a time on weekends if needed. Just let me know and we can work something out! I can do pets indoor and/or outdoor. Please let me know if and how you discipline your dogs so I can give them the best care. Also let me know if they can and can’t go certain places in or out the house!

About: I taken care of dogs since I was young. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and play their pet. Sometime I can take them to dog park if you want to. About: I have worked at shelters in my area for 3 years. I love working with animals. Dogs make the world go round and my heart so big. I have done dog sitting in the past. I have worked with animals of all kinds. I have focused on adoption and rescue at my current job. I am also familiar with administrating medication. About: I am the happy mother of three rescued fur babies and two adult children. One of my fur babies has been trained to be an emotional support dog and knows some sign language. They love children. My husband and I are empty nesters. I have been an RVT (registered Vet Tech) at several animal clinics and hospitals in town and in California. I am capable of giving medication subcue and including injections, along withthe needs diabetic dogs or those with special needs. If you need help with behavior issues such as leash walking Im your gal. I love wet kisses from sloppy fur babies. I havnt found anything yet that has changed my mind about these sweet creatures and if I could have 10 of my own I would. Since that is not possible the next best thing is to help others take care of their fur babies. I work from home and am available to be with your fur babies the majority of the time. Besides running errands and I usually have my husband or daughter watch over them during those few times. Or I will bring them with me 🤗 Fur babies in my home are treated as family yes they allowed on the furniture unless you specifically do not want this . Then of course I do exactly what you want for your baby . We have backyard time and walks when weather permits

About: Hey there, so I've worked with animals ever since I've had a job. I started out working at the Pell City Animal Shelter with my Mom years ago. Eventually, Dr Becky gave me a shot at a full time position at Animal House Vet Clinic, where I was also working part time along with full time at the shelter. As of posting this, I've been at the same clinic for just over 12 1/2 years now and don't plan to go anywhere. Caring for pets is just what I do. I don't see me doing anything else. I've pet-sit for years now also, but my last client recently called off the care, as they're moving, essentially. I work a full-time job in pet care, but if needed for my clients on Rover, I can try to stop by up to a max of three times a day. This would depend on if specific times are required. On work days, it would have to be before I head into work (which I get there at around 6:50am.) Mid day would be questionable, depending on distance, as it would have to be done over lunch. Later in the day would be fine in most cases, as I'm off work around 5:00. For the services I plan to continue providing through the Rover app, I'd basically do whatever pet owners need me to do that I can handle. Nail clips, drop-in pet sitting, administering any medications prescribed (if applicable), walks, etc. I go into this fully understanding that each and every situation is going to be different. And that's absolutely fine! Working at a vet clinic and owning dogs of my own, pet care is already a daily part of my routine. I just use my spare time caring for other's pets as well. When pet sitting in the past, whether staying at a client's residence or doing drop-in visits, I do my best to treat not only the pets, but the property that the owner is trusting me in with respect.

About: I've been taking care of cats since I was a kid. My first pet-sitting job was for a neighbor when I was 6 years old. I went every morning to feed and empty the litter box and play with her cat. Then I would be back at night to do the same. I wish I would have known then you could do this for a living! I work at a vet's office so I am learning more and more about cats and dogs every day. I have my own fur lovelies at home so watching and loving your pets will blend in very nicely. I can do drop ins before/after work and on the weeks where my son isn't with me, I can do overnight stays too!
