About: Dogs have been a part of our hearts and lives for as long as we can remember. My husband began breeding, training, and raising Labrador Retrievers during college, and when he moved here, his beloved Labs came with him. They were cherished members of our family until they passed at the incredible ages of 15 and 17. A year into our relationship, he gave me a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel for Valentine’s Day—and that’s when my love affair with Cavaliers truly began. That special gift opened the door to a lifelong passion for this sweet and gentle breed. We are proud foster parents with the Tennessee chapter of Cavalier Rescue USA, where we welcome dogs from all backgrounds into our home. We care for them, nurture them, and help them transition into the loving “furever” homes they deserve. In addition to fostering, we’ve volunteered with the Nashville Humane Association, participating in their “Doggie Day Out” program, which gives shelter dogs a much-needed break from the stress of kennel life. Taking them out for adventures and social time not only lifts their spirits but helps them connect with potential adopters. We’ve always loved dogs of all breeds, they hold a special place in our hearts, each with their own unique personalities. Over the years, we’ve also helped care for the pets of friends and family while they’re away—whether it’s a weekend trip or a longer vacation. With all this experience and love in our hearts, we thought: why not open our home to others who need trusted, loving care for their dogs? Our dogs are our kids. We cherish every moment with them, and we promise to treat your furbabies with the same love and attention as if they were our own. When your pup is with us, you can rest easy knowing they’re safe, happy, and surrounded by people who truly care. My husband works from home full time, so there’s always someone here to provide attention, care, and company throughout the day. I work weekdays from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and together, we make sure every pup is loved, played with, and well cared for. We love relaxing outside while the pups play in our fully fenced, spacious backyard—there’s plenty of room to run, sniff, and explore! We have two friendly dogs of our own to keep your pup company, and if your dog needs a break or their own space, we’re happy to crate them upon request. You can take comfort in knowing your furbabies will be safe with us and get lots of snuggle time!

About: I have owned and cared for animals most of my adult life! Mostly dogs and cats, but a few rabbits, fish, and other oddities here and there (no snakes though!). Pets are my passion! I never had children of my own, so fur babies ARE my kids! Recently, I helped my baby girl, Dollie, deliver her first litter of Shih-tzu puppies. They are PRECIOUS and raising them was one of the biggest joys of my life so far! Prior to getting Dollie and Porter (yes, they are named after Dolly Parton and Porter Waggoner), I rescued a Shih-tzu named Nash and had him for 11 awesome years. He had a lot of medical issues, including surviving cancer twice, so I am also well-versed in caring for senior dogs and giving them medication, feeding special foods, etc. Additionally, my friends and family don't hesitate to call on me when they need help caring for their four-legged friends. I have two precious Shih-tzus as noted in my "Pet care experience" and am able to devote extra time to them because I currently work from home. That also means I have great flexibility to help care for your fur babies! I have a fully fenced-in yard where your pup(s) can run and play. My two Shih-tzus are also friendly and love to play and keep their four-legged friends company. I can also crate your pup if you or it prefer.

“I have been taking my two terriers,Ozzie and Cricket, to Alicia for over two years. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is authentically invested in the care of my animals. I have one dog who has low level anxiety and requires a lot of attention and reassurance. Alicia is great with him. My younger dog can be extremely high energy and requires a certain amount of exercise during the day in order to be calm at night. Alicia’s “pack“ gives them acceptance and that they need to do well around other dogs and be socialized well. I have shopped a lot of different sitters and services. I find that many times you get what you pay for. There are people who are less expensive than she, but provide far less service if any at all. Alicia understands a dog‘s nature, she is versed in k9 training and does not crate the dogs EVER (unless you request it). Her home is centered around your dogs. I find that she provides the comfort and individual care my animals need. Her large backyard is secured and safe for them to play and sniff and be dogs! She supervises them and also provides a lot of individualized attention. She will customize her services to what you need for your dog – which is exactly what I was looking for. Other sitters sometimes have many, many dogs under their care in any given day, kennel them or don’t supervise well. We learned this hard with our last dog. Alicia limits the number of dogs that she has so that her environment is – #1- not dangerous or scary for your animal and #2 are personalized for each dogs requirements. My dogs are my babies and they mean a lot to me. I was searching for somebody who Could provide them safety and comfortable care while I travel for business, go on vacation or sometimes just for doggy daycare. They love going to her house and cannot wait to get rid of me once we get there! That tells me everything because the last Sitter I used that was not the case. 100% recommend”

Playing fetch is a great way to exercise ! Currently my Labrador Mac joins me on early morning strolls (sometimes runs) and accompany me during my studies to be a Veterinary Assistant. About: Because I live on a farm I can care for cats, dogs, plus farm animals and more! Love puppies and caring for senior dogs and cats! I’m retired and can work any day of the week and can stay overnight if timing works out. I can also bring my dog or cat for a companion play date! I have dogs and cats that live inside our house and barn cats outside. To stay at my house I would use the stalls in my barn if inside did not work for your pet

About: I've grown up with my dog and currently have my own and have raised them since they were a puppy. I give frequent walks and potty breaks to them. I'm working from home and I'm able to frequently give time outside if they need to have a potty break. I have a fenced backyard. It is fenced all around my house. About: I've been around and loved animals all of my life. I recently have house trained and raised the sweet goofy pups you see in my profile picture. I have a good bit of flexibility as I'm a self-employed real estate professional. My office is in my home. Your pets will receive much attention. Our pups are crate-trained and can be contained when necessary. All fur kiddos will be crated overnight. We have a large fenced yard for playing and exercise. All pets must be up to date on their vaccinations, proof will be required. The safety of my babies and my clients is very important. Requests from incomplete profiles will not be accepted.
