About: Craig and I have had a dogs since age ten. As an adults, we have continued to always have a dog (Spike, 7 lb). We also foster for Bonaparte's Retreat, 42 dogs and counting over the past 22 years. We have fostered special needs (blind, deaf, surgery recovery, special medical needs: pill schedule. We only take small/med breeds. Never more than 2-3 dogs at one time. We like them to have plenty of individual care and attention. They have the run of the house. We are retired and home with our pet guests. We have 5 acres for long walks and a large fenced in back yard. We even have a ramp for pups with issues going up/down stairs to the back yard. Staying with us is like going to Gramma's for the weekend. (some even choose share our bed at night, and that is ok) Available 7 days a week, we are retired. Enjoy walks, play time in the secured/fenced yard. We enjoy time on the porch on nice days barking at the squirrels and having treats. Pet sitting in our home. We have a 14 year old boy, 7 lbs, Spike. We have 5 acres for long walks, stairs and a ramp for pets to get to the fenced back yard area. We are retired and home with our pet guests during their stay. They have the run of the house just like they would at your home. Sleeping in pet bed or our bed with us if they prefer.

I am a registered nurse that has become a full time stay at home mom of two children. I do enjoy getting my children out for activities, but we primarily stay near home so I am in a unique position to take on more in home responsibilities such as animal care. I have one dog of my own that is 12 years old. During the day she is free to roam, eat and sleep wherever she sees fit. Since I do have two young children I do have gates that can separate her from them when they want to play with remote control cars or any other hazard to her as she is a senior dog. I have an acre of back yard that is not fenced in but we have a routine of taking our girl out on a leash to roam the yard and find her perfect “spot” if you know what I mean 😉

I have always thrived on making animals feel cared for no matter what the circumstance. I am currently working with a changing schedule but not long shifts, So I have a very flexible schedule but still more than enough time for pet care! (-: All-in-all, caring for animals has been something I have always loved and always sought out. I have house-sat for my siblings in order to care for their animals several times over the course of the past five years, taken in strays to help whenever I can, and rescued a few reptiles throughout middle-school and high-school. I am currently saving up to buy an apartment and pet care for other people is something i feel would fit in GREAT with my busy schedule. I will always make the time of day for your pets no matter what it means :-) I keep open availability and will be working around Rover to ensure that I can give the best and most extensive care as possible. I have previously been around big and easily excitable dogs and can handle them with no problem. I have never gotten upset at an animal and know when and how to take a step back and assess situations to keep the safety of the animal 100% at all times. I work well with all types of animals and will be checking with clients to ensure I know everything I can about their pet.

Flexible to accomodate your pet's personality, size and needs! I have worked with animals and animal rehabilitation all my life and volunteered at wildlife rehabilitation centres. I stay home on the farm most of days of the week and weekends. I homeschool my 10 and 13 year old during the week. About: As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust. I have experience with daily routines, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and giving pets the attention they deserve. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun experience for every animal I care for. I currently work from home, so I spend a lot of time with our dog, Emmy, fiancé and our baby. “This was our first experience using a third-party app like Rover my wife and I were constantly putting our animal in kennel stays as we went out of town. When I got recommended the app, I was a bit skeptical, but after meeting Chris and seeing his interaction with Mattis, I was comfortable and knowing that he’d be left in some good hands.
