About: My Lab pups were immediately potty trained at 8 weeks by my carrying them outside upon awakening. All are kind and gentle loving animals that wear smiles on their faces. Very happy. I am retired and flexible. I live at The House on the Rock and love the outdoors, walking the trails and golf. I am also an early riser. I live in a very pet friendly community with our current Lab, Finnegan and Buster the cat. Finnegan is 2 and loves to play with other dogs as well as Buster.

About: I’ve been a proud dog owner for over 15 years, and caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, I’ve gained hands on experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, from energetic puppies to senior pups. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve volunteered at local animal shelters, where I helped walk, feed, and socialize dogs from all backgrounds. About: My pet-sitting experiences include looking after both cats and dogs day to day and for extended periods of time. When taking care of cats, I make sure they have clean water and food at all times; keep their environment clean; watch over them and see if they are healthy; and interact with them by playing with them on a daily basis. It is important for me to carefully follow all the instructions concerning their feeding schedule, treatment, taking medication, and other specific care. It goes without saying that I make sure that the pets receive proper meals and have clean water to drink. I also try to keep the house as clean as possible, including litter boxes for cats and any messes that may occur. I also observe the pets to ensure everything seems normal and they’re healthy. I believe that building trust with both pets and owners is essential, I’ll always provide them with updates and photographs about the current condition of the pets. My goal is to make sure their pet is cared for and mostly importantly happy.

walkers on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
