About: I've had animals since I was a child. We've raised and owned everything from horses to ferrets. We live in 6 fenced acres with lots of room to run, jump and play! I'm super vigilant about the safety and the health of every animal so be assured your baby will be looked after! I currently work from home, so going outside, going for walks, and having playtime is not an issue here. I have time to share love and attention! Fenced yard, air conditioned home, no kiddos, no smoking in the home, with one 8 lb Pomchi that loves to play and make new friends!
About: I spent a few years working at an animal hospital. I am able to administer both oral medication and insulin. I had a diabetic dog myself and gave him insulin shots twice a day for four years. I am also very good with cats and know how to take care of chickens. Animals are my passion. My life revolves around animals. Taking care of my animals is basically what my life is about. I am big in to animal activism; animals are my life. They will be treated like family! I know how to take care of animals properly and keep them safe. I always feed dogs separately and watch them when they go outside.
About: I have had dogs since I was little and grew up taking care of them. I used to take care of the neighbors cats when I was younger and feel a strong responsibility towards all animals in my care. I recently cared for a young puppy to include walking her and a very old dog who required special assistance moving around. I pay close attention to how you want your pet taken care of because I expect the same for my doggies. I am currently not working and am very flexible with a schedule to include weekend care. I do prefer to work during daytime hours but will work with you if you need someone in the evenings . I will strictly follow your instructions on how you want your animals taken care of. My last client requested I follow their rules on training their puppy which I did. I will play, love and walk your dogs depending on your needs.
About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a little kid.I grew up in the country we had horses and dogs and neighbors needed help when they went out of town for vacations and I went that's it for them eating playing walking. I work full time during the day but I have an open schedule so flexible. About: We are a close family of all adult children who together breed and train emotional support animals. I am someone you can trust last minute or with extensive planning to make sure your vacation or time away goes off without a hitch. Reliability and Integrity are crucial when it comes to caring for your fur babies and I know how important these qualities are and how rare it is to find. I prefer to housesit in the comfort of your own home and have years of experience in doing so with our local veterinarians. I have cared for aggressive dogs that are very protective of their owner, the ones that attack when you are around, but once you leave cuddle in my lap. Busy pups and dogs that need to play, go on walks, learn tricks, and play ball to lap dogs or those who a little old and slow. I know tiny teacups need you to watch them uber carefully in every way to Large Bernese Mountain Dogs that seem super loud and scary but only require a bit more strength. I am changing my career focus from occupation to avocation. I am focusing on moving my business from the service industry to retail where I will be a delegative manager. My children are all in college in different cities where I spend time away with each one. I keep my schedule updated and flexible so that same day care is available when I am home while allowing me to change my plans to fit your required needs. I prefer to keep pets your pets at home where they are comfortable and to prevent separation anxiety. From my personal experience as a breeder and trainer and having very special fur babies of my own this is my personal preference. My pets do not need to share in the experience and they are kept at home and do not interfere with our arrangement. However, I have a 2200 square foot home with 3 acres that are mostly fenced in. I usually walk pets around the property and those that are well trained are able to stay close by where I can unleash and play. Those that need extra care will be walked for their daily duties. I actively work online and am able to keep busy while hanging our at your home keeping everything nice and tidy just as your left it.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace.
