“Kaesea is an animal lover to start with, which is important for when I hire someone to housesit and take care of our three large wonderful fur babies. They were well cared for fed, cared and loved. our most important thing is that our pups are cared for inner home and that someone stays the night with them and make sure that it’s all about them. The house was left an immaculate. She cleaned up after them and made sure that they were well cared for. I would use her again and I our most important thing is that our pups are cared for inner home and that someone stays the night with them and make sure that it’s all about them. The house was left a immaculate. She cleaned up after them and made sure that they were well cared for. I also could count on her when our flight was two hours late and we didn’t get home that evening until 11:15pm on the last day of our trip. We were gone for a total of seven days. I would highly recommend her for any of your animals that she would sit for job well done.”

“When I had to extend the stay because of unforeseen circumstances, Kari jumped right in and covered, brought dog toys, and kept my house and babies safe. I’ll use her every time I need someone. She’s fantastic.”

“Klarissa was wonderful. She house sat and cared for 2 dogs and 2 cats. Me and my wife were at ease knowing someone was there to care for our critters around the clock. Klarissa was great on communication while we're we gone and took good care of the home as well. We know who to contact next time a 4 day weekend is coming up.”

About: I’ve been a lifelong pet owner experienced with fish, rabbits, cats, and dogs. Currently caring for my senior Shih Tzu, mini Dachshund puppy, and young Siberian Maine Coon mix, I am skilled at managing multi-pet routines, individual personalities, and dedicated feeding schedules with patience and love. Since I work from home, pet care is built right into my daily schedule. I am available throughout the day for frequent potty breaks, scheduled meals, and regular affection. Your pet will have continuous supervision, comfort and company with disruption to their normal routine. I focus on creating a safe, attentive environment for every pet. My household includes friendly pets who enjoy company. I do not have a fenced yard, so all outdoor potty breaks and yard visits are strictly 100% supervised, with leashes used as needed for total safety. I follow your home routine closely, keep entryways secure, and send regular photo updates.

About: Throughout my life I have taken care of my dogs and friends dogs. Most dogs that I've met admittedly love me but if not thats okay lol :3 I am still able to take care of them College will start soon and will only be busy on Tuesdays and Thursdays( in person class) thankfully they're in the mornings :3 so ya. But even when im busy I make sure that pets are always first We currently don't have a fence in my house and we only have creats for little dogs (but tbh having pets at my place is probably not a good idea with my two dogs who bark at anything)

About: Hello my name is Elena and I have been around animals all my life. While I am just starting my pet sitting journey, I am so excited to provide reliable, loving care for your pets, and give you peace of mind while you're away. I have had many pets from guinea pigs and chinchillas to goats and sheep and of course my favorite fur-babies, cats and dogs!! I also understand the unique needs of foster dogs. I have lots of experience feeding, cleaning, and taking care of these various pets and hope to do the same for yours!! I am free to take care of your home and pets while you are having fun on a vacation, or even if you need me to pop in for a quick check up or walk. I am currently working a part-time job where I work about once every 2 weeks so I have plenty of time to check up and take care of your pets. I am free Monday through Friday and am willing to work weekends. I am used to many different kinds of pets. I currently have 2 indoor/outdoor dogs and 3 indoor/outdoor cats who use litter boxes. I have one fenced in outdoor guard dog with her own little dog house, and one barn cat that roams around and takes care of the pests. I am also familiar with dogs who use puppy pads and dog doors.
“Kelly was absolutely fantastic! Right from the initial conversation, to the meet and greet and then to the stay her communication was awesome. She was wonderful with my special boys, made them feel so loved and at home while she watched them. Ensured Jack got all his medications on time! She sent lots of photos and messages of the boys relaxing and hanging out. They were so at ease with her! Our house was spotless on return as well. We absolutely lucked out on finding her and are so excited to have her back in the future!”

A friend of mine recommended Jennifer and after reading her reviews and seeing that she had professional experience with dogs I knew she was the perfect fit. During our meet and greet she took the time to meet and interact with my cat and dog to make sure everyone was a good fit. My fur babies immediately warmed up to her. About: We are a close family of all adult children who together breed and train emotional support animals. I am someone you can trust last minute or with extensive planning to make sure your vacation or time away goes off without a hitch. Reliability and Integrity are crucial when it comes to caring for your fur babies and I know how important these qualities are and how rare it is to find. I prefer to housesit in the comfort of your own home and have years of experience in doing so with our local veterinarians. I have cared for aggressive dogs that are very protective of their owner, the ones that attack when you are around, but once you leave cuddle in my lap. Busy pups and dogs that need to play, go on walks, learn tricks, and play ball to lap dogs or those who a little old and slow. I know tiny teacups need you to watch them uber carefully in every way to Large Bernese Mountain Dogs that seem super loud and scary but only require a bit more strength. I am changing my career focus from occupation to avocation. I am focusing on moving my business from the service industry to retail where I will be a delegative manager. My children are all in college in different cities where I spend time away with each one. I keep my schedule updated and flexible so that same day care is available when I am home while allowing me to change my plans to fit your required needs. I prefer to keep pets your pets at home where they are comfortable and to prevent separation anxiety. From my personal experience as a breeder and trainer and having very special fur babies of my own this is my personal preference. My pets do not need to share in the experience and they are kept at home and do not interfere with our arrangement. However, I have a 2200 square foot home with 3 acres that are mostly fenced in. I usually walk pets around the property and those that are well trained are able to stay close by where I can unleash and play. Those that need extra care will be walked for their daily duties. I actively work online and am able to keep busy while hanging our at your home keeping everything nice and tidy just as your left it.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Brock walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Brock maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Brock choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
