About: I’ve taken care of my two Labs ever since I was 6 years old, (i’m 21 now) and have been dog sitting and cat sitting the past four summers!! Also I have worked in a vet clinic the past four years as well. I have the special skill of administering medication! I’m currently working part time at the vet clinic in the afternoons and it’s only 2-4 days a week usually. I can dog walk or pet sit in my free time during the day and on weekends. Possibly for a week or so. I unfortunately cannot watch them in my own home due to not having a good yard for them because it has a pool and not much area to run around. And also my dads allergies. About: I volunteer at a shelter almost weekly, so I have tons of experience with different dog breeds and knowledge of administering pills and eye/ear drops! I work part-time currently, so I’m available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I can also check in on Saturday and Sunday depending on the time when I work! About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I've been lucky to parent dogs, cats, and horses, including two retired racing Greyhounds and a tuxedo cat who made me a certified cat person. In 2011, I started walking pups professionally in Chicago as a side gig during my breaks from tour managing for a band, which quickly turned into my dog-walking clients asking me to stay in their home with their pets while they were away. I've cared for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes and everything in between. I've cared for senior pets, dogs < 1yo, a blind Australian Cattle Dog, a deaf cat, highly anxious and stranger-wary dogs, VERY stranger-wary cats, a Beagle with a seizure disorder, and pets receiving medication. I've also been the go-to sitter for a couple of families going through difficult times with their critters, including caring for their pets with terminal illnesses during their final days (both a black lab named Maggie and the sweetest deaf black cat named Sam) .
