“We have used Kristen several times to drop in on and feed our cat, Bu. We would not hesitate to consider her for needs for our young dog, as well - when needed. She is reliable, consistent, flexible, and friendly to connect with. Several times she has been available with only a day or two notice. As an added bonus - she sends the best rover cards + photos of girl for us to enjoy while we are away from her. I look forward to them every time. We hope to use her many times again in the future.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all my life and successfully house trained my dogs as puppies. I also know basic manners training. I an currently a stay at home mom trying to find extra income. When I am back at work, I usually work remotely so I'm at home all the time. I have an 8 year old daughter that helps with the pets as well. I have a 100 feet leash outside for my dog to roam around. The leash is long enough that the dog can run around and play fetch without leaving the yard. My neighbor's yards are fenced, so there is not safety concerns with other pets. Inside the house, pets are allowed on furniture and beds, and I have several pet beds around the house and feeding areas.

About: I grew up with two dogs! I adopted my dog, Teddy, as a puppy in my early twenties. I have always loved dogs and tend to greet them first before talking to people. I know how hard it is to have to work long hours and going home to walk your baby on your lunch break sometimes isn't possible. I would love to set up a meet and greet to get to know your pet! I'm currently working two days a week and am looking for a fun way to bring in an income. I love being outside and often take my dog and toddler on walks when it's nice out. I'm all about routines and our pets definitely pick up on it too. A typical drop in may look like going potty in the backyard, throwing toys and having some play time, and then going for a walk. I would always make sure that food and water bowls are refilled and am comfortable giving medication if needed. Hopefully with all the running around, they will take a nice nap before you get home! Every baby would be treated as my own.

About: I've taken care of others dogs since I was 18. Friends, family, and coworkers have trusted me to watch, walk, and pet sit for extended periods of times. The longest pet sit I've done was for a close family friend that lasted 3 months. I've always had dogs, cats, reptiles, and rodents in my life that I have cared for I am working part time at the moment so I have plenty of time to play and care for your pets. I am free most weekdays and any days I do work I am available after 5pm. If you need a weekend that is something I am more than willing to work out if I am available. My dogs are on a strict homemade diet to fit their health needs so I'm great if your dog also has a special diet or needs. I've worked with many different types of dogs of all ages and sizes the smallest being a Chihuahua and largest being an Akita. I've worked with all types of cats and even also helped raise kittens. I have bearded dragons but have worked with multiple different types of reptiles such as snakes, geckos, and tortoises. I also have a polish bunny and have also helped raise baby bunnies in the past.
15. Alexx S.
“I had an exceptional experience with Alexx as our Rover dog sitter for our two Great Pyrenees Mixes. We received regular updates with photos reassuring us of our dogs' well-being. Alexx's expertise in handling large breeds was evident, and our dogs were happy and well-exercised when we got home. I highly recommend her services for anyone seeking reliable and caring pet care.”
16. Jessica W.
“Jess is one of the most loving people I know. She has watched my dog Mya a couple times. While Mya is a bit shy, she still felt comfortable enough to go on walks and play. So do not worry your dog will get plenty of playtime and exercise. If she were closer, I'd have her regularly babysit my pets. Alas, she is not. So, I couldn't recommend a better sitter for your pets.”
17. Marissa C.
“Marissa has taken excellent care of our rescue dog, Max ever since we adopted him in 2017. Max had separation anxiety when we first adopted him so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving him with a kennel during our vacations. We wanted him to be able to stay at home and keep his routine. Marissa made sure that she knew Max, from his feeding schedule, medication, and treats. She visited our house for short time periods every few days in the weeks leading to our first vacation so Max could become familiar and comfortable with her. I know Max is in good hands with Marissa. I never worry a minute while I am on vacation because she has everything under control. I would highly recommend Marissa and her Rover.com services to all my friends with fur babies! You don’t have to stress or plan a trip to the kennel, just let Marissa come over and take care of your fur babies. Marissa is always responsive if I check in during a trip and she updates me as often as I request. I can tell Marissa genuinely enjoys taking care of animals and feels deeply responsible for their well-being. I appreciate that Marissa has gotten to know Max – and, importantly, he know and respond well to her. Finally, Marissa is reliable and flexible. Every household and every pet is unique; Marissa adapts her caregiving to accommodate those differences. We’ve also used Marissa for dog walking services. Max loves his walks and could walk for miles but sometimes it’s hard for us to fit a long walk in our schedule and Marissa fills that void.”

About: I have a dog of my own and have always had them growing up. My dog is a 10 year old Pomeranian that loves to play. I’ve always loved dogs and believe that getting to take care of them is such a good stress relief from my school schedule! I am a full time student in Pharmacy school. My classes vary day to day allowing for flexibility to work when needed. It also helps to take breaks from studying/class to play with/walk pets & is a great stress relief for me! I care for my dog with lots of pets, treats, walks and snuggles. I enjoy running and taking my dog on runs/walks or on car rides. I am a routing type of person so my dog get lets out and fed at specific times of the day.
19. Emily M.
“I will happily be going back to Emily again to watch my dog! I ended up needing someone to watch my German Shepherd puppy for 3 weeks while I made an emergency trip to Indy to help care for my sick mother. I was very worried leaving my new puppy with a stranger but she was highly recommended by a friend. Emily was great on taking care of Bear like he was apart of her family. He was also only 9 weeks old and not potty trained at the time I dropped him off with her but she managed to have him trained within two weeks to ring a bell and let us know when he needed to go out!! I was very impressed, I also loved the daily updates of pictures and even allowing me to video chat with Bear. I felt very happy with my decision to leave him in her care and could not thank her enough!”
