Does background check impact credit score?
Hi!
Going through a fun refinancing process right now-- want to avoid any hits on my credit score. Will running this background check hit my credit?

No. Credit scores deal with credit. A background check, while it might include getting a credit check, looks at many other areas as described here:

If you were applying for a job involving finances/access to money, then the credit check might be of more importance to a potential employer. Rover would be interested in that component if you were doing house sitting or anything where you entered a customer's home.
Regardless, the mere running of a credit check has no impact on one's credit score.
