“Amy is the best!! Our doggies just had another stay with Amy and her sweet family. I can’t say enough about how great it is to know they are being loved and are getting such wonderful care when we’re away! They always come home happy. Thank you, Amy!”

“LaDonna kept me posted throughout my pup’s stay with pictures, videos, and updates. It was my dog (and my) first experience with using Rover and she made it such a good one! We will definitely plan to use her again in the future.”

“Emily is amazing! She was so great with our dogs and easy to work with and communicate with 😊 she sent several updates and photos while we were out of town! The dogs looked so happy and had a great time with her and her pups + family! Highly recommend!”

“Kelsey took wonderful care of Tommy while we were away. She sent 2–3 photos every day, and what made them especially meaningful was seeing Tommy not only by himself, but happily interacting with her and her dog. It gave us so much comfort knowing he was enjoying himself and being well cared for. When we picked Tommy up, he was excited to see us, but it was also obvious he had been loved and treated like family. We would absolutely trust Kelsey with Tommy again and highly recommend her!”

“Lorene and Ray were absolutely amazing! So sweet, and I know my dog was in such good hands. I will definitely book them again. After much trying, I have finally found a home away from home for my pup.”

“This was the 2nd stay for Karma. We will continue to take her back to Kristan & Quinn. They send daily pictures, take walks, and Karma loves seeing them. Highly recommend.”

“Rachel took care of our 6 month old shitzu puppy and it appeared he had a wonderful time! We were sent pictures to reassure us and looked like he was given special attention by her son. He was able to play outdoors with her dogs (while being watched) and was completely exhausted from all the playing and attention when returning home. He came home and curled up early in bed for the night. We are very appreciative for the care given to him and will use her again in the future. Thank you Rachel!”

“Glenn was GREAT! He kept us updated the whole time and was so so patient with our senior pup. The dogs warmed up to him almost instantly which made us very comfortable leaving them with him! Will be using him again on some more of our trips coming up!”

“Amy was wonderful! She sent pictures morning and night, seeing that my dog, Molly was very happy. She has a great backyard for dogs and a doggie door. And she has a little farm to which she let Molly visit but normally the gate is closed. If I could put a photo, it would be Molly touching noses with one of her goats it was cute!!”

About: When I was in high school, I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, which sparked my love for animals. While I mainly worked with cats and dogs I don’t have a preference. I’m work from home 2 1/2 weeks a month. It can get a little boring, so I wanted some companionship. That is usually when I’ll be doing Rover. Working from home allows me to pay a lot of attention to whatever furry friend I have. I also enjoy long walks outside so I would spend a lot of time outdoors.
“Chelsea was awesome!! She kept me updated on Diesel daily with pictures and how he was doing. He is a senior lab with separation anxiety and Chelsea and her family gave him lots of love. She will be our go to for sitters moving forward. Thank you for taking such good care of Diesel”

About: I have had dogs since I was a little girl, I have 2 of my own and I treat them like my children. I love dogs with my whole heart and will care for them in every way! Your pets deserve more than just the basics ,I go the extra mile to make sure they feel comfortable, entertained, and cared for, whether it’s a quick walk around the block or overnight sitting filled with snuggles and play! I work as a lash artist at a salon 10 minutes from my house, I have a few clients a week, other than that I’m at home with my other fur babies and would love to help out and meet some new fur babies! I have a fenced yard, and I have 2 fur babies myself who love new dogs to play with and will love to be friends with your fur baby! Of course, walks are a must everyday :)
About: I’ve been dog sitting for over a year now and loved every minute of it. Always had dogs growing up they are like family. Have great references if needed I am currently semi retired and will have all the time to play with your fur family. I like to take them for walks couple times a day, keep them on a routine of your choice. I have a fenced in yard with a doggie door. Large indoor pen if I do have to step out. Concrete floors so no worries if we have an accident.
“Rambo had a great time with Zachary! I was updated with plenty of pics and vids every day. He took great care of my little brother and kept up with all his meds. Would definitely use again!”

“This was our first time leaving our “kids” with a home care person. Robin was great. We got to have a meet and greet before we left our dogs. Robin’s home was very dog friendly. She was gracious enough to answer all my questions and provided updates on how they were doing during the stay. Our dogs came back happy and were better rested than when staying at a conventional kennel. We will be using Robin again.”

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OK ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
