About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals and homes has always been part of my everyday life. I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, so understanding routines, responsibility, and making sure pets feel safe and loved comes naturally to me. In high school, I ran my own small pet care and house-sitting service, which gave me real experience being dependable in someone else’s home and earning their trust. I also have experience with house sitting and cleaning, so I don’t just care for your pets—I help keep your home tidy, respected, and well looked after while you’re away. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies, kittens, and senior pets who need extra patience and care. I can help with basic grooming like brushing and baths, and I always follow routines closely so pets feel as comfortable as possible. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because it’s something I genuinely enjoy and have always made time for. I’m used to being responsible and organized, so I can easily plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, litter box care, check-ins, and any special instructions a pet may need. I’m flexible during the day and able to adjust my routine to match each pet’s needs, whether that means early morning visits, midday check-ins, or evening care. I also make sure to leave time for quality attention, not just quick tasks, so pets feel comfortable and cared for. Since I also have experience with house sitting and cleaning, I naturally build that into my routine as well—making sure the home is respected and kept tidy while you’re away. Overall, I structure my time in a way that prioritizes reliability, consistency, and making sure every pet feels safe and cared for. I care for pets in a calm, consistent, and attentive way that follows their normal routine as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable in their familiar environment, which helps reduce stress while their owner is away. I make sure feeding schedules are followed exactly, fresh water is always available, and litter boxes or outdoor potty routines are kept clean and consistent. I also take time for interaction based on each pet’s personality—whether that’s playtime, walks, gentle attention, or simply giving them space if they’re more independent. I’m very mindful and respectful in clients’ homes, and I also have experience with house sitting and cleaning, so I keep things tidy and make sure everything is left as I found it or better. I provide updates and photos so pet parents can feel reassured and connected while they’re away. My goal is always the same: keep pets safe, comfortable, and cared for so they feel secure until their owner returns.
“Our dogs are part of our family and we treat them as such. It was such a blessing to find someone who loves on them so sweetly. Jeff took such good care of them and gave them so much attention. We truly appreciate being able to leave our home confident that our pups are well cared for and protected. We will definitely use Jeff again.”

“Nyla was amazing! This was our first time using rover or any pet sitter and we had the best experience possible. Nyla is a genuine animal lover and it shows. She treated our Ruby as if she were her own. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend Nyla and we will be using her again on future trips to Tennessee.”
