Christine was very good with my dog. He’s busy and anxious at times. But she was kind and loving to him. She also was able to help last minute as another sitter backed out, causing a fuss- she was helpful and a lifesaver.

About: I’ve had dogs around the house since I was 2 years old and have had many other pets ranging from rats to hedgehogs! I been able to adequately take care of each for as long as i’ve had them! I am currently on summer break from college so I have plenty of time to walk dogs and get in the time they need outside! I was able to take my elder dog on walks everyday to keep him active and get him his time outside. I also helped around the house with taking care of him, playing, and feeding him.

About: Hello! I’m a dog lover and behavior-focused pet caregiver who believes every dog deserves to spend their time being themselves, feeling comfortable, and having fun! 🐶 3+ years of professional experience working with dogs in daycare & boarding settings 🏡 Experienced with a wide variety of breeds, personalities, energy levels, and behavior needs. 🐾 I have dogs of my own, so I understand that every dog is an individual and should be treated like family 🧠 Currently studying dog behavior and training and always learning more 👀 Strong understanding of canine body language and behavior, including recognizing signs of stress, discomfort, excitement, and relaxation 💕 I let your dog lead the way — whether they want to play, sniff, explore, cuddle, relax, or simply have some quiet time 🌿 I believe dogs should have choices whenever safely possible rather than being pushed into activities they aren’t comfortable with 🚫 Fear, pain, and intimidation have no place in my care. I use gentle, positive, and respectful handling with every pet My goal is simple: your dog gets to have a staycation that feels like it was made just for them. 🐾 I’m an online student and a freelancer, so I make my own schedule and I’ll have plenty of time for your furry friend! No need to worry about any schedule restrictions. Safety & well-being always come first — I closely monitor your dog, make sure their physical and emotional needs are met, and give them choices while keeping their safety a priority. I follow any and all instructions to a T and will always keep a close eye on your fur baby.

About: I strive to provide the care and professionalism that I need and expect to be provided to my own pets. Dogs are wonderful creatures that deserve proper love and attention integrated into their family life. I have experience with successful training of my own dog's basic obedience skills (sit, stay, heel, eat, touch, shake, etc). Have taken care of many other dogs, reptiles, and fish for people in my life. I am especially interested in helping reactive dogs or dogs with behavioral issues. I work freelance so I set my own schedule for the most part. Completely flexible for clients needs. A few weeks of the year I'm booked for longer gigs but that is easily identifiable up front for potential clients. Care for clients is completely dependent on their needs and comforts. I will always defer to the client for what is needed for them and their environment. Open and honest communication is the foundation for care and comfortability.

As I got older, I volunteered at my local humane society and have continued providing trusted pet care for pets ever since. I’m patient, attentive, and always focused on creating a calm, safe, and positive environment for every dog in my care. In addition, I have experience with housebreaking as well as basic obedience training, and I’m happy to help reinforce routines and good habits during your pet’s stay. About: Guaranteeing love, attention, and compassion when you need to step away from home regardless for length of time or reason. I am highly dedicated to my families and their furry family members. I add a touch of difference with the care I provide to all of the animals I work with in that I treat each one individually and never work in a "cookie cutter" approach. I started working with and training animals (horses and dogs) at the age of fifteen. Throughout the years, my interest and passion with animals grew, as well as my experience. I currently have two dogs, a german shepherd and a very entertaining rescue mix. With my german shepherd, we are a K9 team with a search and rescue organization where we are called upon by law enforcement only for people who go lost or missing throught the upper Midwest. I still currently train dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, in addition to training service dogs through an individually owned local business. Due to my long-term experience, I am able to adapt to your pets' individual needs with age, both young and old. I am trained in pet first-aid and CPR, and I am comfortable with any prescribed medical care needs you may have necessary for them. I truly enjoy building a sincere bond and connection with each family I encounter so that when they step away, they can feel at ease and enjoy their time without distress or worry. Topnotch care is my priority! I have decided after many years of working in the financial industry and family care industries, that my remaining years, I want to follow what was my childhood dream. Working with animals! With my many years of experience, I always adapt my care to each of my pets needs. As I previously had mentioned I don't believe in "cookie cutter care" approach. I tailor my care to each pets individual needs and concerns.

Jessica was great with our 115 lb Labrador Retriever. This was our first booking through Rover. Jessica came over a few days before the booking to meet with us and get familiar with Louie. She was prompt, reliable, and communicative, which we greatly appreciate. We felt comfortable having her in our home and leaving our dear pup (who loves finding all sorts of trouble) in her experienced care. I would highly recommend Jessica’s pet care services.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Collegeville. On Rover:

  • 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
