About: 2 years ago I got my first dog, Taro, as a puppy of not even 2 months. Since then, I've immersed myself in dog training and constantly get compliments on how well-behaved my dog is. In the middle of the COVID pandemic I took some time while my classes were remote to learn and travel. One of such experiences was a 3 month stay in North Carolina with a family who had raised a number of award-winning, hunting dogs and had just adopted 2 new puppies for training. In that time I learned alot about dog obedience and good manners training. I believe my unique experiences with dogs the last nearly 2 years set me apart from a standard pet carer. I'm willing to walk dogs who have difficulties with pulling on the leash or jumping on strangers during walks. If given a regular schedule with your dog and your permission to use training treats I would be happy to help your dog improve on these problem behaviors. *Note* *I would not be bringing mine or any other client dogs on any scheduled client walks unless you give permission to. When Taro was a puppy I would sometimes take him on walks with well-behaved, older dogs to get him socialized to other dogs. If this is something you'd like me to work on with your dog that can be discussed* I have generally open availability. I walk my own dog twice day with some longer walks reserved for training sessions. I am available after 4pm most weekdays and as needed on weekends. To the specifications of the owner. I take great care to not disrupt the life of my client pup too much just because their parents are out of town.

About: I have had dogs of every shape, size and disposition for 50 years. I have been fostering rescue dogs for 20 years. I don’t think I will ever not have a dog in my life. I am retired so home pretty much 24/7. I have 2 dogs of my own so am available anytime. I enjoy gardening so prefer to be home. I have a fenced yard with doggie door. I walk the dogs beside giving them free rein in house and yard. I have numerous doggie beds for their comfort along with furniture to sleep on!

Matt immediately connected with my pup, asked a bunch of questions about his routine and likes/dislikes, and was extremely communicative throughout the stay, sending photos and video updates of their walks and playtime. About: Stories of my childhood include all types of animals. From the labrodor who sat with me in a kiddy pool to the cats who just wouldn't stop having kittens! I'd love to take care of your animal as though they were my own. I began petsitting at sixteen, and was hired during summers by families while they were away on vacation. I've helped my family care for over ten dogs throughout my lifetime, and cared for a cat and a dog in my own household recently. I also have a natural curiosity of animal science which resulted in a few veterinarian training classes during high school. My current job with a non-profit organization allows for flexible hours, and I hope to be able to care for your pets in any way you need! I work and take care of my son from home most of the time. This allows me to give attention to your animals throughout the day as needed! We have a great back yard that I can take your dog on a walk through and plenty of sidewalks around if they need a longer walk.

About: My dogs and I are ready to watch and play with your pets! We love meeting new friends and are more than happy to accommodate you. I'm currently working from home and am generally home all throughout the day to play with and hang out with your pets. If I have an errand to run, I can always let you know ahead of time. We have a fenced in area for the dogs to play and splash if they want! If I do leave the house, I generally crate my dogs and would also crate your pet if you need. If the pet is fine to be out and unsupervised, that is fine too.
