About: I have lots of experience with walking, exercising, play dates, overnight pet sitting, washing, brushing, feeding, and giving them medicine. No problems with large dog breeds or with lifting elderly pets. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available weekdays as well as weekends for walking, over nights stays, washing, playtime, feeding, etc. I will always ensure to arrive in a timely manner and show your pet the upmost love and care. I have a fenced in back yard, exercise equipment as well as 5 different toys for my dog to play with. I walk them daily, wash them as needed and ensure they get fed in a timely manner.

“Sam took very excellent care of my 5 cats and dog while I had an emergency and needed her last minute. She was very flexible and accommodating. I got tons of updates which made me feel very assured my fur babies were in excellent care while I was at the hospital with my baby. It was also a holiday and she was available. She was upfront about her kiddos coming, which was no problem. I was amazed there was no mess or anything. She cleaned up all dishes, took trash out and watered my plants. I had a week long stay at the hospital, I even asked if she would change my sheets and she did this for me. I was so blessed to find her and will always use her if she is available if I need a pet sitter. She even left a little goodie bag with a neat ink pen and some bracelets my daughter will not take off and loves! I’ve had pet sitters before that would just lock the dog out of my room and not interact with Sadie but Sam sent lots of videos/pictures of all my animals. We are home now and Sadie is so happy, it great condition and sleeping so soundly cause they gave her lots of exercise. 10/10 will book Sam again.”

About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for three years, have owned many dogs in my life, and currently work as a mobile groomer. I have two certificates in grooming as well as experience in doggy daycare, dog and cat boarding, dog training, first aid, and equine welfare and management. I am currently a part time mobile groomer. When I’m not working, I am still spending time with animals in whatever way I can. I love pets! My own dogs are animal friendly and love new friends. “THE ABSOLUTE BEST! That is where I start. We had to book him in a pinch and we were able to get a meet and greet in with Khalil and our 3(65# plus) dogs. The meet and greet went great and he showed up on time 3 days later. We received photos every single day. He stayed in our home and was able to keep them entertained while there. The photos we received they were always looking happy. We were gone for 10 days and when we came back it was like we had just left with the house being clean. Khalil stayed in our guest room. We didn't ask him to but he took the sheets off of the bed and put them in the laundry room. The dishes he had used were put in the dishwasher. Main thing was to take care of our dogs and he went above and beyond on that! We will absolutely recommend Khalil to anyone and everyone looking for short and long term stays. Khalil was very responsive. We will be going back to him when we have to be out of town again. Khalil made it so easy to trust that they would be in good hands and taken care of the entire time. I could go on and on. An overall phenomenal experience.”
About: I’ve stayed in households with many pets from reptiles to dogs and cats. I’ve house sat many times for pets. And I’d like to think animals like me as much as I like them Currently a college football who has a lot of free time in the off season and on weekends. I began dog-sitting for a neighbor when I was in middle school and that included helping care for two puppies when I was a bit older. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
