About: I've been taking care of pets since before I remember. Growing up I cared of neighbors', family members' and friends' pets on a multitude of occasions to go on long walks, feed, bathe, and give attention to whilst they are away. Ive taken care of newborn kittens and puppies as well as elderly fuzzy friends who need meds and daily iv's/shots. Ive even assisted a cat birth and successfully resuscitated a kitten! I am comfortable with giving all animals even exotics the care love and attention they deserve. I've had many cats and dogs of my own over the years and have cared for my families' beagle mix who is 15 yrs old and thriving. I've fostered over 7 cats, and have 4 cats currently! I'm currently trying to do this full time with the help of my husband. I want to spend more time in my element, spending time and spreading love to all the furry friends, because that is what I love. <3 If you decide to hire me, I am a clean organized person who prioritizes the pet and will give them my full attention. About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm and summer months off. I am currently a part time Binghamton University graduate student studying for a masters degree in early childhood special education. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away to ease your anxiety. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white pitbull fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away. If you think I’d be a good fit for your fur baby or have any questions or concerns, I’m here to answer them all and hope you will consider me to take care of your pet. I work M-F through a nearby school, being able to provide supervision to animals while I am home. Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
