So happy to find such a great home for Sunny to visit while we’re gone — and only 11-minutes away. We could tell on our “meet & greet” visit that Sue and her pup & cat would get along well with ours. Sue send pix and a video today, and I could tell Sunny was very happy there. When I picked her up at the end of the day, it was obvious they were all happy together. Looking forward to many more visits and overnights!

Our Marcie came home nice and tired, and didn't seem stressed at all. Mikayla has other pets that are friendly and sociable, so we are of course happy to have our dog have the opportunity to play and socialize with them.

Whitney and Kevin were super helpful on short notice as we were traveling and made a late call to see the Baseball Hall of fame. Without this option we have passed on it. He clearly had a wonderful time and is now snoozing away on our road trip. Perfect space for a few dogs to stretch out and their comfort level with different dogs was apparent. Would definitely recommend Whitney to anyone looking for a caring safe spot for their dog.

Exceptional people! They are extremely responsive and were very welcoming. We set up a meet and greet to make sure Sheba would get along with Bear which made me feel comfortable that I was leaving Sheba in good, capable hands. I get several updates throughout the day which is awesome and they are very flexible with times. 10/10 would recommend to a friend or anyone that needs doggy daycare. Thanks for being awesome guys!

About: Raised a well trained border collie in high school and recently fostered a puppy that became a service dog through Dogs For Better Lives. We trained it for 14 months to prepare for service training. Typically the professional training takes 4-6 months but our boy graduated in 2.5. I love short, fun training sessions and consistency. I was a solo traveler living the vanlife but am back home helping my folks in Maryland. I love dogs but owning one would radically change my lifestyle. I’m hoping that through Rover I can still have some dog time on the road and take some good boys and girls for adventures outdoors. Primarily I like to do drop-in visit for walks and short training sessions. Once we build a rapport, I’d like to do hikes and overnight adventures.

Jenny was a superb sitter! My dog clearly had a great time with her. She kept me updated throughout the entire duration of his stay with pictures and videos. I would definitely refer my friends that are pet owners that are seeking a great sitter. She was very patient with my crazy work schedule and very flexible with her availability. Going forward i will be using Jenny as his primary sitter.

About: I have 15 years experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, as well as small animals and exotics. I foster dogs for a breed specific rescue, with medical and severe behavioral issues so I’ve seen it all. (Dog and human aggression ect…) If dogs are boarding in my home they must be crate trained and/or fully dog and cat friendly. We can always work something out, message me! I do not board cats but would be happy to stop by and spend some time with them. I’m home full time right now! I may go out for a couple hours for dog walking, but other than that someone is always here. We have a spare room if they need their own space. We have lots of experience fostering and crate/ rotate. We always make sure to spend equal quality time with each dog. If I am caring for your pets at your home I will spend the night there with them.

About: With years of devoted pet care, puppy training, senior support, rescue volunteering with fostering, and animal‑care schooling, I bring heartfelt, family‑level love and patient, intuitive attention to every dog I care for. I have the proven track record with outstanding experience in rescue advocacy. My commitment to placing non-traditional and special-needs animals into permanent, supportive homes broadened my horizons and taught me truly the meaning of unconditional. With a Proven track record in navigating complex care challenges, I practiced and followed through n with matching high-need pets with dedicated adopters, and reframing physical differences as badges of resilience. Pet care is woven into my daily rhythm — from morning check‑ins to evening walks, caring for our three rescues in my wide, fenced‑in backyard is my daily cup of sunshine! Their love fuels my purpose and inspires me to help other pet parents care for their furbabies while they handle life’s responsibilities. My home was chosen with dogs in mind. Our wide, fenced‑in backyard offers shade, space, and freedom — originally built for our first rescue who needed safety, comfort, and room to explore. With no stairs inside, senior pups move easily and confidently. Every room is pet‑friendly, and dogs are welcome on furniture to relax as part of the family. Crates are available only if your dog feels safe choosing one — never forced. Our three rescues freely roam indoors and outside, receiving gentle, attentive care, and your furbaby will be treated with the same love, respect, and family‑level comfort. About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of individualized care and attention I give every dog. I don’t just “watch” pets — I truly get to know their personalities, routines, and needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience training puppies, including basic commands, leash manners, crate training, and reinforcing positive behaviors. I’m also confident caring for senior dogs who may need a slower pace, extra patience, or mobility support. Whether your pup is high-energy and playful or calm and cuddly, I adapt to their unique temperament. I prioritize clear communication, regular photo updates, and creating a stress-free experience for both pets and owners. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and well-being always come first. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine — I intentionally structure my schedule to make sure I have dedicated, unhurried time for each dog. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, playtime, feeding schedules, or evening cuddles, I plan my days around the pets in my care so they receive consistent attention and companionship. I build flexibility into my week to accommodate different energy levels and needs, from active pups who love longer walks to seniors who prefer shorter, gentler outings. Because I prioritize reliability and routine, your dog can count on consistent care, and you can count on dependable communication and updates. Caring for pets isn’t something I squeeze in — it’s something I genuinely make space for. In My Home: When pets stay with me, I create a calm, safe, and welcoming environment that feels as close to their normal routine as possible. I follow your feeding schedules, potty routines, exercise needs, and any specific instructions you provide. Dogs receive plenty of supervised playtime, walks, mental stimulation, and affection. I’m mindful of introductions (if other pets are present), keep the space clean and secure, and make sure every dog has a comfortable area to rest and relax. In Your Home: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their usual routine to reduce stress. I stick closely to feeding times, walks, and preferred activities. I also respect your home by keeping things tidy, bringing in mail if requested, and ensuring everything is secure before I leave. My goal is to make your absence feel as smooth and normal as possible for your pet. For both services, I prioritize safety, communication, and regular photo updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every animal as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.

About: With years of hands-on experience caring for animals, I bring reliability, patience, and genuine love for pets to every booking. While I was in the Navy, I’ve consistently sought opportunities to care for others’ animals and now that my military service is over, I can’t wait to spend even more time with some four legged creatures. I excel with medium-sized dogs and active pups, but I can accommodate most breeds. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I’m living my best life as a stay at home dog mom while finishing up some schooling. I can provide daily walks and enrichment any day for however long your pup needs. My fenced in yard is perfect for play and I have extensive knowledge of trails in the area that are good for walks/runs. At this time, I am unable to accommodate staying in another dog’s home due to my own pup’s needs.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 165 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Cobleskill. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Cobleskill commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 165 sitters in Cobleskill, 88% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
