Sue was the absolute best! We had a very unique situation where we really wanted our dog, Maui, to be a part of our wedding day and weren’t from the area so we were unsure how to find someone that could pick him up from the venue while we were getting married and board him overnight. Sue went above and beyond to pick him up and board him. Sue also kept us updated with how Maui was doing and he had a great time playing with her cockapoo Ninny! Highly recommend Sue to anyone in need of dog boarding!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 While we were away in Cooperstown watching our boys play baseball, Rover made sure our pup was having just as much fun as we were! We received tons of photo updates—she always looked so happy, playing with the other dogs in a beautiful, spacious setting. It was clear she was well cared for and loved every minute. Knowing she was safe and enjoying herself gave us complete peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Samantha and her partner Zachary took fabulous care of our two dogs for three days. They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. They love each other, romping like crazy with each other indoors and out and Samantha and Zach had no problem dealing with them. When we went to pick them up, it was obvious that both dogs really liked their caregivers. What more can one hope for in someone taking care of their dogs? We will be using them again when we are back in the Albany area. Thank you, Samantha and Zachary! Clifford and Ann Wagner

Gillian was amazing with my dog, Cooper. She sent me daily updates, pictures and videos. Most days I received multiple messages saying n how he was doing. They really accommodated his needs and let me know when his eye doctor as a little runny. He was as able to sleep with someone, like at home, sleep during the day and enjoy the outside and long walks. I will always reach out to Gillian when I need someone to watch Cooper. He’s lonely today because he’s missing Gillian, Mitch and all his new doggie friends.

Both Koda and Dulcie loved their stay at Megan’s with all of the welcoming friends. Megan was very understanding of Koda being reactive towards dogs and made no judgements about him which was a huge relief. She sent lots of pictures of the dogs out and about having a blast, Dulcie made all the dog friends and was right at home. We will definitely have our dogs vacation with her again.

I am so sorry this is so delayed! I had a lot of life catch up after our vacaction, which was completely relaxing becasue I had zero concerns with the well being of my dog because Melissa was AMAZING. She was super welcoming and understanding that it was our first time leaving our pup and using Rover! She is super professional and caring and took care of everything (she had a crate for us!) She has love for dogs and I would absolutely recommend her and have our pup stay again! The best.

About: With years of devoted pet care, puppy training, senior support, rescue volunteering, fostering, and animal‑care schooling, I bring heartfelt, family‑level love and patient, intuitive attention to every dog I care for. Pet care is woven into my daily rhythm — from morning check‑ins to evening walks, caring for our three rescues in my wide, fenced‑in backyard is my daily cup of sunshine! Their love fuels my purpose and inspires me to help other pet parents care for their furbabies while they handle life’s responsibilities. My home was chosen with dogs in mind. Our wide, fenced‑in backyard offers shade, space, and freedom — originally built for our first rescue who needed safety, comfort, and room to explore. With no stairs inside, senior pups move easily and confidently. Every room is pet‑friendly, and dogs are welcome on furniture to relax as part of the family. Crates are available only if your dog feels safe choosing one — never forced. Our three rescues freely roam indoors and outside, receiving gentle, attentive care, and your furbaby will be treated with the same love, respect, and family‑level comfort. Caring for my three resident pup-rescues, 3 indoor cats, as well as our 13year old male cat who is feral, is my primary passion and my full-time daily focus. Because this is my dedicated lifestyle, I provide a highly structured and dependable environment for your furbaby. **(Note on my Review History: If you scroll down, you will see two negative reviews from 7 years ago regarding scheduling issues. We began to call our home "Park-In-The-Yard on Lee Ave"-- Our backyard is a park, and every dog is treated like family. Our daily lives revolve around rescuing and fostering small and medium dogs. This patient & unconditional love became second nature to us. We open our hearts and our home to your furbabies, treating them exactly like members our own pack. Daycare operates Monday through Friday with a strict drop-off window between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM, aligning perfectly with my morning routine. Our weekend boarding begins on Friday evenings as daycare wraps up and runs through Monday morning. This predictable schedule ensures that transitions are always calm, organized, and stress-free for the dogs. **(Note on my Review History: If you scroll down, you will see two negative reviews from 7 years ago regarding scheduling issues. I enforce strict safety boundaries: I only accept small-to-medium dogs and strictly limit care to a maximum of 3 guest dogs at any time. My home features a secure, attached garage breezeway that serves as a double-gated transition zone, ensuring no dog can ever bolt near the street during drop-offs.Inside, my home is a staircase-free, pet-friendly environment where dogs are welcome to lounge on the furniture, beds, or right in my lap. By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
