About: I’ve loved and cared for all kinds of animals throughout my life. With dogs specifically, I have experience with puppies, adults, seniors, anxious pets, and multi-pet households. I’ve also administered medications and supported senior pets through end-of-life care. Before changing majors, I studied pre-veterinary medicine, and I have volunteered with several animal rescues. Those experiences strengthened my ability to recognize behavioral cues, respect an animal’s boundaries, and remain calm when a pet needs extra reassurance. Caring for so many different animals has taught me that every pet has their own personality, needs, and way of communicating. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, quiet companionship, or a familiar routine while you’re away, I’ll care for them with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pets. I’m self-employed and work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule for weekday, weekend, and holiday care. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and care in your home. I’ll work with you to understand your pet’s usual schedule and maintain as much consistency as possible while they are in my care. As a pet parent myself, I know how stressful it can be to choose the right person and leave your animals in someone else’s care. Before a booking, I prefer to learn about your pet’s routine, personality, triggers, medical needs, and what helps them feel comfortable. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, medications, walks, and household routines. During walks, I double-check collars and harnesses, keep dogs securely leashed, and remain attentive to our surroundings. During drop-ins and overnight stays, I’m mindful of doors, gates, and other potential escape points. I’ll treat your home with respect and will never bring another person into it without your permission. You’ll receive as many updates, photos, and videos as you’d like, so you always know what your pet is doing and how they are feeling. If I notice any concerning changes in their health or behavior, I’ll contact you promptly.

About: I have been pet sitting for about 5 years now! With lots of experience with senior dogs and animals in need of more attentive care! I am fully available to housesit along with pets! I work a wonky schedule but the animal or persons baby also comes first! I am fully available 7 days a week! I am much more able to give my upmost priority and attention when staying with the animal in their home. I am not able to host animals at the moment. Not until I move. If that was not going on I would absolutely be able to host.

About: For me, caring for animals has never felt like simply “pet sitting.” They are family—and when someone is trusting me with a member of theirs, I take that responsibility to heart. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 13 years old, and today I help care for my family’s lively crew of four dogs and two cats. Lots of love. My goal is simple: while you’re away, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and loved—and I want you to feel at ease knowing someone is genuinely looking after them. I work from home, with either a daytime schedule of 10 a.m.–6 p.m. or an evening schedule of 4–11 p.m. This allows me to build pet care into my daily routine and make time for meals, bathroom breaks, play, and companionship. Being home is only part of it; paying attention matters just as much. Pets can’t tell us what they need in words, so I take time to notice their habits, body language, and little requests for attention. Whether that means a nudge for a bathroom break, an invitation to play, or wanting someone nearby, I care about learning how your pet communicates. I do have focused work periods, so we’ll discuss your pet’s routine and care needs before booking to make sure my availability is a good fit. This is especially important for older pets who may need more frequent check-ins or a particular schedule. I want to understand what a comfortable day looks like for your pet and how I can help keep it that way while you’re away. I start by learning the little things that matter to your pet: their familiar routines, favorite activities, where they like to rest, and how they let you know they need something. I follow your instructions for meals, walks, bathroom breaks, litter care, and rest, with time for play and affection on their terms. In your home, I keep your pet’s routine as familiar as possible and treat your space with care and respect. I let your pet get comfortable with me at their own pace, whether they’re ready to play right away or prefer a quieter introduction. Senior pets are especially close to my heart. Caring for my dog Shadow through his later years taught me the importance of patience, gentleness, and noticing small changes. About: My name is Taylor and I am a veterinary technician servicing the DMV area. I have been working with dogs specifically since I was 15 and cats since I was 18. I personally have a cat and have had dogs in the past, and I understand the stress put on the importance of finding someone that you can trust to watch your animals while you are away. Safety is my upmost concern and as a veterinary technician and a groomer, I am very experienced in dog and cat care and would love to babysit your little angel! My hours are not necessarily tied to a desk or computer either, so I am able to do walks freely throughout the day. Depending on the customers request, I am able to accommodate most housing accomodations. There is a room specifically designated in the house for the pet for the duration of the stay, which has toys, beds, food and water as well as a TV. it’s also a daybed for me as well so that I am able to stay in the room with your pet. My backyard is large and it’s open, however I will be keeping pers on-leash anytime they are outside.

About: I make dog treats, so your animals will be spoiled (with permission, of course) with yummy treats, long walks (gotta get those steps in), and tummy rubs! Monday-Friday, I’m available for walks after 5pm. On the weekends, I’m available any time your pet needs me! I will help you with dog walking and you will help me get my steps in for the day :) I have a fenced yard, but will take your dog on walks regularly throughout the day. I also have a small and medium sized dog, but they are very friendly and I will keep them separated as a precaution.
