“Leah stopped in each day to feed and medicate our two cats for a week. She was patient with our scaredy cats and always found them in their hiding spots, got their meds to them, and let us know how it went. Highly recommended!”

My cat is an inside cat taking strides outside at night. Christina sent me pictures of the fresh meals that she arranged on the floor in different cups on newspapers- it was a comfortable experience for us and we plan to use Rover next time as well?”

About: I started pet sitting as a kid but have always been an animal advocate and lover. I have cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, quantities, those with disabilities, medical needs. You name it I've done it. I have 9 animals of my own that I treat like my children. I work full time from 8-4 Monday through Friday but can make accommodations for mornings and evenings as well as weekends! My work schedule is flexible as well. I am very by the book and cautious when caring for others animals. As someone with 9 animals I know the importance of their care and having someone trusted to look after them like they are their own while away.

About: I have a lovely home in St Mary’s County with a fenced in back yard overlooking three acres. My family has always had dogs and it wouldn’t be home without them! We have three friendly beagle mixes, ages 2, 3 and 4. I worked full time for 28 years as a counselor for folks with disabilities and took an early retirement in order to be home for my middle school age son. I love walking and playing with pups, who make our lives much better through their loving companionship. Before our current dogs, I have raised three other family dogs and three cats, a love bird, four parakeets, fish and a bearded dragon! I have pet sat for several friends as well and enjoy it!

“Dashia has cared for my pets for 5 years! I had a dog who was very over protective and she managed to become good friends with him and she was the only person that could care for him. We then brought in 2 more dogs to the family and they came with very needy request from vocal whiners to skin allergies. Needless to say, Dashia took care of them like her own. She’ll update me with pictures of their crazy sleeping positions on the couch which is a plus. I am glad to have her and I refuse to take my dogs to a boarding to facility where are they’re locked up in kennels and sit on concrete.”
