“Remarkable! I was so pleased with Dawn's service. I was brand new to Rover and really hesitant because I just moved to a new area where I have no family to help watch my kitties. I found Dawn, and wow, so glad that I did! I highly recommend her, especially as your first Rover experience. She will not let you down! I felt so comfortable with Dawn in my home and with my 2 kitties, I knew once I met her that she was trustworthy and I could sense that she loves animals so much. Dawn sent pictures of my cats after each visit, which I loved. She monitored their automatic feeder, too. She really took care of them with brushes, treats, and love! I came home and felt immediately that my cats were their purrfect selves right away - sometimes they show attitude when I get home, but not after Dawn's love and care! My 1st kitty is very outgoing and healthy so I wasn't worried about her, but my 2nd kitty is shy and often gets sick when we are away. Dawn was so kind and even kept our apartment clean of messes upon our arrival, even when I didn't expect her to do that. It was so nice coming home to a clean home. Also, I must say that I also appreciated Dawn's dedication to my pets - halfway through my travels, I discovered that I needed to be away for a few more days. Dawn stepped up to the last-minute change, and whew what a relief! I'll certainly be using Dawn again next time we travel. About: I've run a dog rescue that placed 1000+ dogs in new homes in 3 years, worked as a live-in animal care taker at a dog and cat boarding facility, and trained several service dogs for a national service dog organization. I've had dogs and cats of my own for over 20 years, and am often the person's friends and family call when they have a dog/cat question instead of google. I've seen and done it all, which means I know how to manage a wide variety of dogs and cats (and more) with all their personalities and quirks. I work full time, but with pretty flexible hours with enough heads-up. I have dogs and cats of my own, so I already have an easy routine of caring for them and it's quite easy to add another. I move my work schedule around to maximize the best times for hikes/outside time for the dogs depending on the weather. I try to take at least one of my dogs for hikes at the Clemson Experimental Forest 2-3x a week. I have a fenced yard with a small (fully enclosed and secure) chicken run. Any visiting dogs would have supervised time to play in the yard or the fenced back deck several times a day. I have 3 friendly dogs who would love to play or just hang out, or can be kept fully separate from any visitor if the visitor needs their space. They are used to mixing or staying separate from any visiting dogs/cats. I also have two cats who are dog friendly, or remain completely upstairs to themselves if any visitors aren't cat friendly. Visiting pets are setup in my home office with a crate of their own (if needed), plenty of windows, and room to play or bed to nap on.

About: From a young age, I’ve been responsible for caring for animals of many kinds, from hamsters to horses, with dogs always being a big part of my life. This experience has made me attentive, patient, and dependable when caring for dogs. I’m comfortable following routines, reading basic behavior cues, and providing consistent, loving care. I treat every dog as my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. I am a full time student during the week and also have a part time job, however I am available for drop in visits during the week, except for Tuesday's after 12:00pm. I can visit up to two times per day per household. My schedule allows me to drop in early in the morning before school and then stop by later in the evenings. I am also available for overnight stays full time. Tuesday’s have a little bit of conflict for, I am at school from 12:00pm to 7:00pm. If an overnight stay goes through a Tuesday someone would need to let your pet out during those hours if necessary I keep each dog’s routine as consistent as possible by closely following feeding, walking, and care instructions. Whether in my home or a client’s, I provide a safe, calm environment with plenty of attention and supervision. I respect my clients’ homes and make sure their dogs feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for at all times.

About: I have a Bachelor's degree in Zoology, and Associates degree in Science and have cared for other peoples pets since I was 17 (August, 3 2026 I'll be 22) besides caring for my parents dogs and cats. I have expireance with special care needs like diabetic pets who need to be given insulin shots, elderly dogs with oral pills they would rather not take, and bouncing puppies who need to let out alot of energy. I also have owned many animals since I was little with minimal parental help. These animals include dogs, cats, snakes, mice, rats, fish, birds, spiders, and frogs. I have experience in highschool vet care and college lab and field experience in herpetology, ornithology, and ictheology. Your fur babies will love spending their time with me when you can't be there. I just graduated college and would love to make money doing somthing I'm good at; careing for animals. Since I just graduated and don't have another job currently I'm free at most times and would love to be of service to you. I will give my undivided attention to make sure your animal is happy and well cared for. I can take your dog to the dog park, and if you want I can bring my dog over for them to play. Dog/cat's needs and feed schedules can be precise. When I was caring for my aunts Diabetic cat I had to feed half of a 1/4 cup give him his insulin shot then feed the other half, this had to happen at 6am and 6pm exactly. The shot had to go into his opposite hip every time (left morning, right afternoon). I hope to offer your pet similarly the best care imaginable.
