About: Hi! I’m Shelley in Cle Elum, WA, and I offer dog boarding and doggy day care in my home or adventurous walks in your neighborhood. I work from home, so your pup will get lots of attention, frequent potty breaks, and a steady routine—not long stretches alone. My home & yard My home is set up to be comfortable for guests, with no off-limits areas for dogs. The floors are about 50/50 hard surfaces and carpet. Outside, I have a fully enclosed 6-foot privacy fence and a secure backyard for play and potty breaks. Dogs that can use a medium dog door are welcome to go out as needed, and for larger dogs (or dogs not dog-door trained), I take them out as frequently as required. My household My household is calm, pet-focused, and well-managed, consisting of myself, my gentle 18-year-old dog, and two friendly ferrets. The ferrets are primarily housed in a secure enclosure for safety, but they enjoy several hours of supervised free-roaming time each day for enrichment and exercise. I maintain a clean, structured environment and am experienced in balancing the needs of different types of animals, ensuring a safe and comfortable space for all pets in my care. Meet & greet preferred but not required My preference is to have a meet and greet in my home for all new dogs so you can see the environment and we can do introductions in a calm, controlled way. Ideally, meet & greets happen sometime during the week prior to your dog’s first stay. Day care & boarding routine Because I work from home, I can provide: • Frequent outdoor breaks throughout the day • Walks (up to several times a day). Distance is dependent on your dog’s energy and activity level. • Daily backyard playtime (fetch, tug-of-war, etc.) • Optional enrichment using puzzles or toys you bring Training, rules & sleeping setup I’m happy to follow your training rules and house routines—heel on walks, sit before treats, and any boundaries you want reinforced. I’m comfortable with crate training (using your crate). For overnight boarding, guest dogs can sleep wherever you prefer, and I do allow dogs in my bed if that’s their normal routine at home. Feeding & medications I feed based on your dog’s normal schedule and I’m comfortable giving medication with clear instructions and the method that works best for your dog. I’m not able to free-feed, since my senior dog has dietary restrictions and will try to get into other dogs’ food. I’m also very comfortable caring for senior dogs and special-needs pets. What I accept • Most breeds, sizes, and ages, including puppies (I prefer they are mostly potty trained) • Up to three dogs at a time, and I typically don’t mix dogs from different families • I do not accept aggressive dogs or dogs that are not housebroken • I prefer no females in heat and no unneutered males • I also accept small animals such as guinea pigs and hamsters, as well as exotic pets including ferrets and sugar gliders Safety, updates & emergencies Safety is always first: dogs are leashed on walks, and during meals, dogs are separated and monitored. I send daily updates with a photo and/or video and a quick note. If your dog gets sick or injured, I’ll take them to the vet as soon as possible and message you quickly with what I know, then follow up once I have more information. If you’re looking for a sitter who’s consistent, attentive, and treats your pets like family, I’d love to meet you and your furry friends! Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I already structure my days around animals. I have several pets of my own, and I work from home, so I’m able to be present throughout the day for consistent supervision, potty breaks, feedings, and companionship. I keep a steady schedule in the mornings and evenings for meals and care, and I build in time during the day for walks, play, and enrichment. Because I’m home-based and used to managing multiple animals, I can reliably follow each dog’s routine and provide attentive care rather than long stretches alone. When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I have a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor playtime, along with regular walks tailored to their energy level and routine. Since I work from home, your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day—not just quick check-ins. I focus on keeping their routine consistent and making them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I also have an established relationship with a local vet, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in safe, capable hands.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my whole life. I’ve loved dogs, horses, and cats. I am happy to take your dog for a long walk, or sit and read with your cat so s/he isn’t lonely. I’m currently working two days a week with online obligations on the other days. I am happy to take some time away from my work to spend time with your best friend(s) I will respect your home, and house rules. I am also happy to ensure your pet’s safety in your yard. About: I offer extensive, lifelong experience in animal care, developed while growing up on a working farm. This background instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility and a strong foundation in proper animal care. My hands-on experience spans a diverse range of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, and guinea pigs. I’m a college student but on break for the summer so I have a lot of time to work. Animals have been apart of my everyday routine for years so, I’m used to the responsibility pets take. Pets just like anyone else need a safe environment. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats since I was 12, and people have hired me to house sit with their pets. I love all animals, and have experience with pets from 8 weeks old to senior pets! I work part time in the cle elum area, and am looking at working full time soon. I would love to stay busy with pets as a job as well, as I love animals! I keep to feeding schedules and have worked with animals that needed medications, and I follow house rules strictly. When walking I always keep animals on leashes, and I make sure animals are indoors when they are supposed to be.

About: Hi! I have grown up around cats and dogs my whole life and have one cat of my own. I am experienced in pet sitting for several families with multiple dogs and cats over the years. I have also cared for cats with special needs, a dog with diabetes requiring daily insulin injections, and wound care for pets. I am willing to do other household tasks upon request such as watering plants/gardens, light housework, etc. I have a flexible hybrid full time work schedule that allows me to work from home as needed. This lets me drop in as needed to care for your pets. I am also available for overnight stays if needed. I have cared for pets in many different home environments. I can take pets on long walks as needed or let them exercise in your yard if permitted. Care will be specialized to your pets needs.

About: I have been a pet owner for about 3 years now. When I was younger I would care for others pets and enjoy spending time with the strays that lived on my street. I enjoy going on walks, hikes and taking naps according to my own doggos they believe I keep them active, safe and well fed. As I am a work from home dog momma, I have the time and availability to keep your pets company when you cannot. I believe all pets need to be treated with respect and will offer them all the love they need. On top of that my doggos would love to make more doggo friends. I currently work from home. I am available at all times and adjust my schedule to yours. I like to go on walks in the morning, afternoon and night time. When it is the first time to work with a dog I am not familiar with I always keep them on a leash when taking them out to potty in non fenced areas. When going on walks I like to go to places where dogs can run around freely and safely.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I’ve owned two cats a dog and a horse. I have had experience with a diabetic cat. So I’ve given a cat shots before. Up for runs, walks, fetch, or tug of war for dogs. Most importantly I can provide care and love to your pet. I’m a college student and I enjoy taking care of animals in my spare time. I have classes in the morning, but I am free in the afternoon. In the summer I usually am more available and flexible. I am able to provide entertainment, exercise, love, and general care like watering, feeding, and bathroom breaks for your pet. I am able to clean up after them and brush them.

They're happy and healthy. It's a win- win! 👌🏻 I can come to your home to dog-sit. I can do drop-ins, medication, most nights. Whatever you put on a list for your dogs will be followed carefully. I will not sit at my home. It's my dog's home (territory) and it's not fair to bring another dog into it unless it's necessary.
