“Tina and her family were awesome! Excellent communication leading up to our trip and she sent several pictures and videos of Oliver. We really felt like they cared for and loved him, which is just the best feeling when you’re away. We wish we lived closer but will contact you if we’re in the area again. Thank you!”

“Carrie took great care of our little guy and sent pics of him every day. It was great to see he was well cared for! We felt super comfortable letting Carrie get him and drop him off when we had an early flight too… she’s great!”

About: IMPORTANT— I will be in Connecticut from 12/20-1/3. All other dates I will be in Indiana. Unfortunately there is no way to specify location for specific dates in Rover. If you have any questions please let me know! I have taken care of pets my whole life (my own and others). I have two of my own dogs currently — at 70 lb Shepherd x Dalmatian and a 25 lb Jack Russel x Aussie, both of which can get rowdy so I am no stranger to high energy pets! I am happy to help work on basic commands and will make sure your pet gets plenty of physical and mental exercise! I am a graduate student so my schedule is very flexible when it comes to checking in on pets and I typically like to spend >1 hour with them a day. I can provide medications and/or any specific care that your dog might require. I am a graduate student and my schedule can be flexible! For boarding— my own dogs wake me up at 6 am to eat and then often like to go outside around 8 after some more snoozing. As a student I can be gone from 9-5 occasionally, but more often it is 11-4 or something similar. On average I am gone between 4-8 hours at a time depending on my schedule. During the day we usually play and I give them different enrichment toys. When I am home I let the dogs out frequently to romp in the yard! Dinner is around 5 and then usually a calm evening. My weekends I am usually home for the entire day. For at home visits or walks— I am happy to fit your pets needs into my schedule! I can offer up to 3 visits per day and can spend various amounts of time with your pet based on their needs. For boarding—I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run and play. I have two dogs who are friendly (albeit loud) and would love to run around with your dog! I do have a crate in the house for your dog if needed. When I am gone my own dogs are closed in my bedroom and I would likely close your pet(s) in a separate room as well— your pet does not need to be crate trained if they are non destructive! Because I do have pets of my own any boarded dogs need to be dog and cat friendly. For home visits and walks— I am slow to introduce myself with each visit to make sure your pet is comfortable with me in their home as it can be stressful!! I typically sit with pets before immediately going for the leash to make sure they feel safe. I am happy to spend time with your pets beyond walking/feeding! In am able to stay for longer periods of time in the evenings to play or sit and just spend time with them. I am comfortable with reactive dogs and will prioritize your pets comfort.
“Surama took great care of my dogs while I was away on a family vacation. Poppy and Rem came home tired and happy! She was flexible with pickup times when my flight home got delayed. I'll be booking with Surama again in the future! You can't beat tired and happy dogs!”

“Amanda and her family took such great care of Belle! They sent me lots of photos and updates and paid very close attention to her health and well-being, more than anyone ever has before so I would highly recommend her”

“This was our first time leaving our boxer with anyone. Derrick was great. We felt like he treated our dog like his own. Appreciated the pictures he sent when he took her for a walk. His house is set up so the pets he’s watching have their own room with a bed and couch. We really appreciated that she wasn’t out in a kennel. We will definitely use Derrick again.”

“Leslie was great with my Shih tzu Toby! She is very dependable. She kept close contact with me and gave me updates and pictures of him throughout the weekend. She even gave him an oatmeal bath! Would highly recommend and would have her watch him again!”
About: I have taken care of dogs since middle school. I love dogs and have two on my own - a Dalmatian and a Basset Hound. My family is very active and we walk the doggies daily! My job is very flexible and I have a lot of extra time during the day to spend time with the doggies! I have had dogs all my life! I love dogs and I spend a lot of time outdoors with the doggies! I make sure the doggies get at least one walk a day but more often than not they get walked twice daily.
“Jessica and David took great care of Mocha. They communicated well, sent us lovely photos of our pooch during her stay, and treated her to a walk, car ride and pup cup. They are true dog people! Absolutely would book them again.”

About: I’ve been a pet lover since I was a kid and my love for pets has only grown over the years! I truly enjoy the companionship that let’s have to offer. Taking care of pets fits right into our everyday life! I’m a stay-at-home dad and husband, so we’re always moving around the house, hanging out in the yard, or heading out to the park. Between toddler adventures and walks, there’s plenty of time for play, fetch, and cuddles, your pup will feel right at home with us. I have a fenced yard and a security camera at my front entrance. I love spending time outdoors and have plenty of energy to take my toddler and pets on walks to the nearby park.

I’m a proud cat mom to Topaz and Turbo, and I believe pets thrive with a balance of love, exercise, mental enrichment, and consistency. I have plenty of time to give your all of your furry pets all the love and attention they will need while you are away. My schedule is updated regularly and I will be sure to fit my schedule around your needs once booked. One question I always ask my clients is “how long can your pet be alone?”. I adhere to those guidelines. I have plenty of experience with dogs & cats. I have dog/cat and house sit for the last several years for clients when they were out of town on vacation. I promise to provide your pups or kitties with safe, loving care.
About: I have watched finches, bunnies, cats, fish, dogs, raised puppies, raised a herd of guinea pigs, and love every experience with animals. I am not shy! I am currently working part time and have extra time on my hands. I have the long weekends open for your animals. The whole week for drop in visits. I have my own animals, but I would love to drop in to care for your animals. I can spend the day with your animal, walk your doggies, any special needs I got you covered, and I am ready to spoil your special friend.
“This experience was wonderful for both my dog and I. I have never left him before and he had a great time. Emily is an awesome dog sitter. She sent me pictures every day. She has two of the sweetest little boys that Augie enjoyed playing with and also a small dog of her own. After the first picture arrived I was able to enjoy my vacation. He was glad to see me but I’m sure he’s going to miss Emily and the boys. I was very happy with her care and will use her again when I need to. I would highly recommend her to keep your dog and feel comfortable about leaving it there.”

About: I have taken care of all ages of animals and all sizes. I have cared for diabetic pets, blind pets, and medicated pets. I am ready to take care of anything! I do not currently have a job, so I am willing to work whenever and wherever! If this ever changes I will make sure to change my availability etc! About: Hello! I'm recently retired from the Air Force, an avid reader, and a lifelong animal lover. I've cared for cats and dogs throughout my life, including my senior British Shorthair, Sasha. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I'll care for your pets as if they were my own. Whether they need walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm presence, you'll receive plenty of photos and updates while you're away. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I care for my senior British Shorthair, Sasha, and enjoy building walks and outdoor time into my day. Since retiring, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, and care. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away. At this time, I provide care in my clients' homes rather than my own. I understand that pets are often most comfortable in their familiar environment, and I'm happy to maintain their normal routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and lots of affection. I'll treat your pets as if they were my own and provide regular photos and updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
