“Michelle took care of my three, extremely spoiled Cavaliers and from the daily pictures she sent every day, I don’t think my dogs wanted to come back home. They seemed to be enjoying themselves quite a bit. I highly recommend Michelle.”
“Lindsay, did a great job taking care of my dog and sent me pictures every day keeping me informed on how my dog was doing. I would highly recommend using Lindsay to take care of your dog. I was very pleased. Congressman Bill Sarpalius”
“What a delightful time Ginger had, with this lovely family. Carlie was attentive, flexible, and like a second home while I was away. I will definitely be returning.”
“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! They welcomed our pup for a last-minute weekend stay and gave him such a comfortable, happy place to settle in. Their dog was a wonderful playmate, and the frequent updates and lots of photos made it easy to relax knowing he was having a great time. They were communicative throughout and incredibly accommodating as our schedule kept changing. We’re so grateful for the care and flexibility, and would happily book with them again. Highly recommend!”
“Lovely couple with a baby and a toddler. Buffy had to warm up to Parker, their German Shepherd but I hear it went well. Tyler and wife watched Buffy on a holiday, July 4th. They were very gracious when I requested an itinerary change. I felt like they were really attuned to Buff-dog. Will definitely ask again for their assistance.Highly recommend.”
“Eli was awesome! My dog is somewhat shy but she took to Eli right away. Eli picked my furbaby up and once he was back to his home he sent a picture of my pooch and where she had her kennel setup. Skittles was able sit and stare out the windows, which she loves to do. I received plenty of pictures to put me at ease. Eli also had a camera setup so I could see my dog if I wanted!!! I’m super happy with Eli as he was on time for pickup and drop off and overall is a very nice person! I will definitely board my dog with Eli again!!!!”
“Michelle is amazing! I'm always anxious about leaving my fur babies but Michelle put my mind at ease! She kept me informed and provided my Bella with so much love and attention!! I'd give 10 stars if I could”
“Donna is so awesome! Loved that we received pictures and updates about of our baby during her stay. Donna is very attentive and shows lots of love and care for the fur babies!!!”
“Marta has become our go-to day care provider and boarder, and we consider ourselves incredibly fortunate to have found her. Our dog, Miss Charlie, has stayed with Marta approximately five times now, including the recent Thanksgiving holiday. Each time, Charlie has had a fantastic experience. This last time included a wonderfully special Thanksgiving meal featuring turkey and sweet potatoes! As an overly protective dog mom, finding someone who cares for your pup as much as you do can be challenging. However, I can confidently say that Marta loves our dog just as much as we do. We have complete trust in her, and her professional-quality pictures not only keep us informed but also make us miss our pup even more—they are so cute! If you're in search of an exceptional sitter for your pup, look no further. Marta is, without a doubt, the best choice. We highly recommend her!”
“Faith is very prompt at responding to requests and questions. She provides photos and my dog runs right into Faith's house when we drop her off. I think Faith spoils our pup, which is great because our doggie is a senior :)”
“Roxie had a great time with Jake and Melissa. They sent me pictures of her which made my day. I did not have to worry about her at all which is so nice when being on vacation. Would absolutely use them again!!”
“Booking with Alicia was a fantastic experience! She responded quickly to my last minute request and made my pup feel right at home. She communicated throughout the stay with lots of pictures and updates. My dog has a blast and I highly recommend her!”
“Brigid took care of my senior girl, Chloe, for 4 nights. She was open to a last minute meet and greet. She accommodated Chloe’s senior needs, sent updates, and gave a nice verbal summary at how Chloe’s time went and included things she will miss about her. Chloe seemed content when I arrived, often going over to Brigid several times while we packed up all of her things into the car. Being a dog sitter myself, I found comfort in that, considering they were strangers just days before. I would recommend Brigid!”
“Jean was awesome! She sent daily photos and messages updating us about our dog. Would not hesitate to use her again in the future, and will definitely be booking again! Thank you again Jean!”
“Kimberly and her family took great care of our dog Winnie while we were away over the holiday break! She sent pictures every day of her enjoying time inside and outside on her walks about the neighborhood. We are so grateful that we found them and will definitely use her in the future! Thank you, Kimberly!”
“Antavia was fantastic! She took amazing care of our dog, kept us updated, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again!”
“Amelia is very kind and communicative. She was able to send me updates and photos throughout the duration of my dog’s stay with her. Highly recommended and would use her services again!”
“Jasmine was great she took amazing care of our puppy Bella! Would definitely recommend her. She sent photos and kept us up to date on how Bella was doing constantly. Bella usually shy but she warmed right up to Jasmine when we dropped her off.”
“Angela was so kind and easy to work with! She really took our pup's specific needs into mind and helped her have a wonderful stay! Angela shared pictures and videos with us each day and gave us updates on how things were going. Thank you, Angela, for your attentiveness and kindness. We appreciate your kindness and the peace of mind your updates brought to us while we were on vacation. :)”

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
95% of sitters in Claiborne can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Claiborne.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
