“As a first time user of Rover and first time search for a cat sitter, Elena definitely set the standard. From the first contact, Elena was incredibly responsive, very kind, and extremely welcoming of my babies. Elena and her children took such good care of my babies, as they allowed them space to adjust while being open to their affection as they warmed up. I had peace of mind that my babies were in good hands as she invited them into her home with open arms. When I picked Pocket and Rocket up, they were so soft from freshly brushed hair and calmer to get back into the car. I would absolutely recommend Elena to take care of your cats, as they will get plenty of cuddles, play time, and freedom to explore their new space. Thank you, Elena and kids!!”

“Brigid took care of my senior girl, Chloe, for 4 nights. She was open to a last minute meet and greet. She accommodated Chloe’s senior needs, sent updates, and gave a nice verbal summary at how Chloe’s time went and included things she will miss about her. Chloe seemed content when I arrived, often going over to Brigid several times while we packed up all of her things into the car. Being a dog sitter myself, I found comfort in that, considering they were strangers just days before. I would recommend Brigid!”

“Ms. Lynette and Mr. Vincent were amazing. They both were in constant communication when they kept my fur baby for the weekend. They were super flexible with pick up and drop off times. My baby returned home happy and full of energy (and crashed immediately after). I am completely confident that my baby had a great time while staying with them. I will be using Ms.Lynette and Mr. Vincent whenever I need my fur baby boarded!”

“Kimberly and her family took great care of our dog Winnie while we were away over the holiday break! She sent pictures every day of her enjoying time inside and outside on her walks about the neighborhood. We are so grateful that we found them and will definitely use her in the future! Thank you, Kimberly!”

“I would leave 6 - Stars if I could. My fur baby was well taken care of. Donna and her husband were excellent hosts. Their love for pets was very obvious. I truly hope I have the opportunity to board my baby with them again.”

“She is the best! Onayda always kept us up to date with Obi. The service was excellent. My puppy did not like to be with other dogs but with Onayda Obi he enjoys being around other dogs. Thanks Onayda for your help you are excellent!”

“Rebeka couldn’t be nicer and handled our handful of a dog very well. She responds to messages quickly, and I appreciated her reaching out to confirm the day of our scheduled appointment. I’d love to learn more about your pet and how I can help make your time away stress-free for both of you. 🐶🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because of how flexible and rewarding it is. Most of all, spending time with animals brings me a lot of joy and motivation — it breaks up long study days and reminds me why I love what I do Whether you’re at work or away for a few days, I provide reliable, in-home care that keeps your pets safe, happy, and stress-free in their familiar environment. About: I worked with the Blue Ridge Humane Society, caring for cats, kittens and other pets. I was able to feed them, entertain them, scratch them if they like — and learn a lot of different cat behaviors. I’d love to bring my skills to your own loving furry babies.
“Our cats felt very comfortable with Michael, and so did we! He's reliable, kind, and respectful of animals, and also very intuitive with them. Their personalities are very different, but he gave Bagheera plenty of active play and made friends with the very shy Laska. We highly recommend Michael and will use him again. Great Rover cards, by the way!”

About: Before joining Rover I mainly provided my services through word of mouth. I have experience with providing basic medical care for dogs and cats, and training experience including potty training and easing separation anxiety. I have vast experience and knowledge on various breeds and their specific needs, and really just love being able to have the time and availability to be able to provide these services. They say a dog is a man’s best friend, but in my case, a dog has always been a woman’s best friend! I offer dog sitting, walking, training and boarding at my home as well. I am brand new to the app but I do have plenty of references and want to make all owners feel just as comfortable as I want to ensure their pets will feel with me! I currently work a part-time job from my home, so I have a flexible schedule and able to meet any needs your pet has. I am available everyday, all hours mainly, and can accommodate you and your pets schedule! In my home all pets are welcome. I have plenty of walking trails and a back yard for pets that stay at my home. I typically will customize the walks, food, bathing etc depending on the needs of the pet and what works best for them and the owner.

“As a spur of the moment idea, that I had heard about through a friend in CA, I contacted Rover and had a good, instant, comforting response. The care giver was great and did send picures and I was very comforted. Thanks to her.”
About: Growing up on a horse farm my entire life and studying animal husbandry has given me experience caring for animals of all ages. I’m comfortable caring for senior dogs, small breeds, and pets needing extra attention, including those requiring daily medications. 🐾❤️ As a stay-at-home mom to my sweet seven-month-old baby girl, I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pets the love, attention, and care they deserve. 🐾 With your permission, my little one would join me for drop-ins or dog walks while I provide your furry friends with a safe, happy, and loving experience. ❤️ There’s no place like home, especially for your pets. 🐾 Caring for them in the comfort of your home helps keep their routine the same while providing love, attention, fresh food and water, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. My goal is to make every visit stress-free, giving your pets the care they deserve and giving you peace of mind while you’re away. ❤️
About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a kid. The least I can do is give back to the animals that help us the most in times of need. Be their relief and protect as they do with us. My schedule is pretty flexible! I make time for the fur babies! Maintaining a close eye on the fur baby to make sure they are okay and don’t need anything at the moment. Always making sure the animal is being taken care of, is my first priority. Especially senior dogs that require more care and attention, the better for me because patience is one of the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22). I take care of my dog daily. I take her on walks/runs to make sure she and I get some exercise and it helps with our zoomies HAHA :) I always make sure doors are locked and they are always within eyesight view whenever I have my hands full with the fur babies to prevent a sneak escape. Leash is always on before going out in public. Making sure all human food is away from pet to prevent toxin ingestion.

About: I adore all animals but I’d have to say cats are the superior breed of my choosing! I have 2 kitties of my own and would be more than happy to give yours equal love & attention 🖤🐈⬛

I’m an undergrad student looking to help out when I’m on breaks or have free time at school! Also available during the holidays if you’re planning on going out of town and can’t take your pet! I have a fully fenced in yard and one sweet, small dog at home! But I can divide the house and keep them separated if necessary. I love all breeds and even nervous pups!

About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my entire life and have over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. Growing up, my mom had five dogs—some of which had puppies—and I helped raise and care for them. I’ve also cared for cats in multi-pet households, including feeding, litter box maintenance, and creating calm, safe environments for shy or senior cats. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets while they’re away. I now have a black Yorkie of my own, and I treat every animal I care for like part of the family—whether they bark or purr! I currently work part time- and have lots of free time! I will send out a daily schedule of what I’ll be doing with the pets! I will take your dog out on walks on our neighborhood trail outside! I also have a few ring cameras, and will send a lot of pictures/videos throughout the day.

About: I have been caring for cats and dog since I was a freshman in high school and have pet sat for several families! I have taken care of all different breeds from small to big and young to old! Whether it’s just a quick feed, playtime, administering medicine, or overnight care, I will make sure your pet feels loved, safe, comfortable, and cared for! I currently work at a produce stand working about 5 days a week! My schedule however is extremely flexible as I get to choose the days I want off. I also work with other girls my age that pet sit and we are able to leave when needed to provide care! In my home, we have a nice sized backyard where I am able to play catch and I also live in a large neighborhood where I walk everyday and can exercise with your pet! I also have a clean house if your pet is indoors!
About: Hi there! My name is Stacia and I’ve taken care of animals my whole life. I am a dog owner too! Remi is a 2 years old, playful, dark yellow lab. He is fixed. I’m familiar with ensuring the environment is right for your dog. I previously owned a dog with high anxiety and wasn’t friendly with strangers. I understand the importance of making sure your guidelines for your pet are followed. I can give oral medications, follow your training rules, walk large dogs, handle dogs that aren’t friendly with strangers, high anxiety, and have disabilities (ex. Deaf, blind). These dogs are our best friends so I promise to take great care of yours :) If you have any additional questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask. I am happy to chat or meet prior to booking to ensure I am a good fit for your pup! I believe in open communication to ensure the safety of you, your pet, me and mine. I work fully remote and am able to support daycare and boarding. I usually walk my dog morning, mid day and evening for 30 min to an hour at a time. I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. During the week your dog won’t be left alone for more than an hour depending on drop off and pick up time. During the weekend your dog won’t be left longer than 3-4 hours depending. We can always communicate your dogs specific needs to accommodate! I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. This is to ensure the safety of my dog and if I am boarding or hosting daycare for another dog. During the week I do work full time so there are times where I am in meetings so it is preferred your dog is not destructive, okay without supervision, or is okay in a crate or enclosed room. I communicate my anticipated work schedule and plan for the day with the pet owner.

“Meeting Stephanie for the first time was great. We are new to the area and she welcomed us to Oxford. Stephanie made our dog Bella feel comfortable to her house, yard and her dog before we left her. This was a great experience for us in such a short notice.”

“I have used Michelle for both of my dogs, yesterday was her first time watching my 3 month old yorkie & she did a wonderful job. She made sure he was comfortable because he was afraid at first. I really appreciate Michelle for all of her help. I highly recommend her to anyone needing pet sitting services.”

“Ruby came back so sleepy! Exactly what I want from an hour walk. Bridget asks good questions and gives you updates about how your dog is doing. She is very aware of her surroundings and making sure Ruby is able to have her best walk. Ruby is afraid of cars and kids- I heard Bridget praise and redirect Ruby when encountering a scary thing. She really cares about my dog and it is noticeable. 10/10- highly recommend!”

Ways you can stay in contact with me is through my cell phone or email. I am open to doing overnights, visits, and walks. I've worked with dogs with aggression towards other dogs before. I have experience with giving prescription medicine through pills and needles. I live in Easton, MD but am willing to travel. “This was our first time using Rebeka and she was phenomenal. Not only did she make arrangements at work to walk my dog super last minute but she was very sweet and conscious of my dog’s anxiety around other dogs. We will definitely be using her again! I have already referred her to family and friends.”

About: I have been an animal lover since I can remember. I have grown up with cats, dogs, and horses my whole life and have loved every moment of it. I started pet sitting for clients in my late twenties and really enjoy doing it. I have helped take care of cats, dogs, horses, and chickens (I know crazy!). They have ranged through all of the age groups. Clients seem to like me and have repeatedly asked me pet sit/house sit for them. Your pets are in great hands with me :) I am currently working full time, Monday through Friday from 8:00-5:00 but am available on the weekends. I am more than happy to stay at your house during the week but just know that I will be away from your animal during my work day but I can, if needed, go back to your house on my lunch break to take your dog for a walk or take care of any medication administration. I will usually ask you your pet's routine. When does he/she get fed in the morning? When do they go for their walk? Do they like playing outside? Favorite toy? When is dinner? I will stick to that routine so that your pet feels comfortable and happy when you are away. I will always ask if you need me to do anything around your house as well. I will water your plants for you, take out the trash/recycling, or get your mail. I am very tidy and will never leave a mess after I leave.

My backyard is large and it’s open, however I will be keeping pers on-leash anytime they are outside.

“Lindsay, did a great job taking care of my dog and sent me pictures every day keeping me informed on how my dog was doing. I would highly recommend using Lindsay to take care of your dog. I was very pleased. Congressman Bill Sarpalius”

“Mady is always a joy to work with! Kiko gets so excited to go over to her house and play with Bandit which is a testament to Mady’s care and attention! Kiko can’t wait to go back!”

“Vy was terrific! She responded quickly and took our dogs for boarding on almost no notice and understood our dogs’ needs well. She also has fenced in backyard for the dogs to play! Very grateful for her and would happily leave the dogs with her again”

“Our first time boarding with Shelby was a great experience! She was flexible, communicative, and followed all care instructions for our dog Loki. Will definitely be calling her up in the future.”

“Lindsay is amazing! I took a trip abroad and left my fur babies in her care while I was away and I couldn't be happier with the service she provided. Lindsay is very responsive and provided pictures and updates without me ever having to ask. I highly recommend her for your boarding needs. I will most definitely be sending my babies back to her for future trips.”

“Trey and Melissa are a gift to not just me and my family but my sweet dog. They took amazing loving care of my dog, sent regular updates and treated Mabel like one of their own. Top notch!!! FIVE STAR!!”

“My dog Moon loved his visit with Denise and her dog Andy. Decent size fenced in yard for play, which my dog loved. Updates and pictures were sent. Moon even ate his food while there which he rarely does even for his normal sitter. I should mention she is very accommodating. I was a last minute request and my hours for pickup and drop-off were odd. Would definitely use Denise again.”

“Very smooth experience and great stay! They were very kind to our older beagle and he got along well with their dog so everyone was happy. We appreciate it!”

“Lovely couple with a baby and a toddler. Buffy had to warm up to Parker, their German Shepherd but I hear it went well. Tyler and wife watched Buffy on a holiday, July 4th. They were very gracious when I requested an itinerary change. I felt like they were really attuned to Buff-dog. Will definitely ask again for their assistance.Highly recommend.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Nikki! She treated my big baby just like her own and put up with me being overly cautious before Finn’s stay with her. She is excellent at communicating and sent lots of sweet messages and pictures while we were gone. I almost can’t console Finn because he misses her and her pups! He probably can’t wait for us to go away again so he can go visit Nikki.”

“Yukia was awesome! My dog left her house very happy. She took him on walks and he got to play with other dogs. She also worked with me and added an extra day when I realized I messed up the schedule. I highly recommend Yukia.”
