About: I am a stay at home mom of two awesome kiddos, one handsome border collie(Steve) and a large orange furry feline(Samson). We also have a couple of rowdy goats and a flock of beloved chickens. We are blessed to live on a heavenly bit of land (40 acres) with woods, ponds and creeks. It truly is a bit of paradise. About: I grew up caring for animals, dogs, cats, horses, fish, cows, chickens, and a goat, having pets most of my life. My background is in healthcare while in the military. I have been my father's caregiver which allowed me to help foster puppy litters to adult dogs and care for a pack of 8 dogs-4 of which are mine while caring for him. I can now enjoy caring for other's fur babies giving them love and support. I am interested in always learning about animal behavior and all aspects of their care. About: During Covid, I was laid off and it turned into a wonderful experience of being able to dog sit. I was watching 5 dogs on a regular basis, feeding, playing, napping, and loving on each and every one of them. I absolutely love dogs, I have taken care of small to big dogs and they are all my favorite!! I worked at an animal shelter and gained a lot of animal knowledge and experience from there I am currently working a full time job Monday through Friday until 3PM, with occasional weekend shifts. I am able to do drop in, house sitting, and walkings in the afternoons. I can provide lots of love, attention, and stimulation to your pets. I am very active but also love to relax and provide cuddles if your pet is more on the mellow side of activity. I am happy to clean up any messes, and follow any particular instructions of care you may have for your pet.

“When my family goes out of town, Rachel is always our first choice of caregiver for our dogs, cat, chickens, and fish, as well as my many houseplants and garden, which might not be pets but need to be cared for as well.
