About: I've lived with pets all my life and while I’ve only had one human roommate in the last 30 years, I've always had a least one cat up until 2018. I LOVE cats (esp kittens), and am quite comfortable around dogs as well (I love them too, just not in all capitals, LOL). When I first started pet sitting, I thought I preferred cats to dogs, but the past few years have enabled me to expand in my love of, and comfort with dogs (but please don't tell the cats that)! I also used to 'lease' a horse in my youth and have experience with birds, hamsters, fish, and guinea pigs. I DON'T like snakes or insects (sorry!) In the last 12 years I’ve volunteered with several rescues as a cat/kitten foster and I'm known to be particularly good with feral kittens and cats. I'm really good with walking (dogs mostly), dispensing medications, and loving attention, but I'm not a pushover when it comes to treats from the table (that's a no-no) staying on leash when required, and letting them know I mean business when necessary. I don't believe in EVER striking or punishing animals and seem to fall in love with them all. I’ve been a house and pet sitter on the site “Trusted Housesitters” since 2018 and have over 21 positive reviews there. I’m recently retired (yet surprisingly busy). I don’t do a lot of night driving, but am otherwise generally available. I’m a stickler about being on time, and keeping dates I commit to. My preference is for cats to remain indoors at all time at my house, and dogs always on a lead when outside. I have a variety of crate sizes here, and am totally comfortable with your fur kids riding in my car, lounging on my furniture, and/or sleeping in my bed. I have all wood floors, plenty of cat litter pans and bowls for food and water. My yard is not fenced but I live directly in front of the Western Maryland Rail Trail, and have easy access to neighborhood parks as well.

About: Hello! I’m passionate about exploring the outdoors and have spent years training on a horse farm, where I’ve loved being around animals of all shapes and sizes. I’m thrilled to be here and excited to meet new friends! I provide both ground and air pet transportation, offering 24/7 availability (with booking days closed off in advance). Just tell me when and where, and I’m ready to travel, even for overnight stays. Building a strong connection with your pet is my top priority. I am reliable, trustworthy, and committed to ensuring your furry family member gets the best care possible!

“Genuinely a dog lover. First thing I look for when trusting my baby with someone. I really appreciate the effort and communication Aly puts in. I would recommend her to friends and family :)”

About: Over the last 40+ years I’ve been responsible for and cared for many cats & dogs of my own as well as of extended family, friends & neighbors. I also grew up by a farm and spent time there often around the farm animals. I also have some diabetic/medical care experience. My promise is to care for and love your pet(s) as the special individuals that they are! The more info you give me about them the better! It helps me interact with them in a way they are used to. I’m happy to play and interact with them inside or out, as well as give fresh water and give them a potty break! I’m retired and have no rigid commitments that occupies my time! My schedule is extremely flexible. I would love to spend some of my free time with your special pet! My pup loves going outside. I walk her once or twice a day in addition to several quick potty breaks during the day. I clean up after her and also feed her twice a day. Making sure your pet is safe and happy as well as exercised physically and mentally during my visit would be some of my priorities along with any specific requests you may have!

“Rebecca gave our two pups walks rain or shine while we were gone on vacation for 10 days. Great communication and she was able to make friends with our little mini golden doodle who barks at everyone! Would definitely consider using Rebecca again in the future!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals of varying sizes and species since I was 10, whether they were my own pets or others. Multiple friends and family members have trusted/relied on me to care for their animals because of how much respect I have for them in general. Though I do have a soft spot for dogs since I have two. I’m gonna be learning at my mom’s boutique which will leave my schedule pretty open so I decided to use Rover again. I can offer my services most of the time, not just conveniently but happily. (I’m currently not offering boarding anymore but I do offer house sitting/drop in visits.) There’s a saying, ‘treat others how you how you want to be treated,’ and I apply the same thing to our animals. They are a part of our families and I’ll treat them no differently. I will give them the respect they deserve.

“Pam sat for us a couple of years ago while we were away on holiday. Communication before her arrival was excellent and she kept me up to date at all stages pre-arrival. Once Pam arrived, she was really lovely and a pleasure to get to know before we left. She cared for our 4 x cats really well. Three fairly senior cats with mixed medicine and dietary requirements. Pam took all of this in her stride and took time to get to know them and their routine before we left the following day. We received regular updates from Pam while we were gone and returned to 4 very relaxed cats and a lovely clean house (even cleaner than when we left)! Pam is a treasure and if you are lucky enough to have her sit for you, rest easy, your pets and home will be in excellent hands. I am very happy to recommend Pam and look forward to seeing her again in the future.”

2. Amy D.

4. Corrinna P.
“Corinna has been our pet sitter for many years, caring for our pets: Octavia, our 12.5-year-old husky and the best dog in the world; Socrates, our 8-year-old Russian Blue and evil overlord; Diogenes, our 6-year-old Bombay heat bag and resident shouldercat; and Einstein, our clingy 4-year-old recovered street cat that the cat distribution system bequethed to us. I've known Corinna for over 15 years, and I trust her with my life—and with my quirky, escape-prone cats and garbage disposal husky. Despite their endless attempts to chase enemy squirrels and ninja streetcats, our pets never manage to outwit her. Corinna has always kept them safe, happy, and entertained. There has never been an emergency of safety concern in all the years she's pet sit for us. She also goes above and beyond by sending us updates and photos of our pets while we’re on vacation, which literally is the best thing ever as I have bad anxiety. Her competence, reliability, and genuine love for animals make her a perfect pet sitter. She never misses a meal or litter cleaning. I can’t recommend Corinna enough to anyone in need of a pet sitter—they’d be lucky to have her!”
