“This is the first time I've had someone other than a friend watch my cats and let me just say that Ashley is fantastic! “This was my first experience using a dog sitter ever. I was extremely concerned about my pets and how they would endure a week without me while I was away for 8 days on a family reunion to Santa Catalina Island, CA. My sister informed me of the Rover.com service and I looked into it it. I scheduled a meet and greet with Milo and my pets; and after I felt comfortable in booking 3 drop-in visits. Milo was spot on, timely, caring and went well above and beyond my expectations. I have cameras and after each of his visits, I reviewed recordings of his visits. He performed the duties I paid for exceptionally well. My observations: Timely, spent time and interacted with pets. I have an escape artist pup and he twice, took the time to block of a hole in the fenced area to block it. He played ball with dogs, ensured they had plenty of food/water and he interacted with them. I am extremely thankful to Milo for treating and caring for my pets. I strongly recommended him, he is a top notch pet sitter!”

“Amanda took great care of our cat while we were gone. She checked in each visit and took plenty of pictures so I could see how he was doing. When we got home I could see she had fed him and cleaned his litter box and he was a happy and healthy kitten!”

“Absolutely awesome experience! I can’t say enough good things about how well Hanna took care of my fur-babies. Highly recommend her and I will definitely have her over again in the future!”

“Annabell took really good care of two of my kitties. She was responsive at all times and even tried to manage specific requests. My wife and I were on an international trip and never had to worry about our pets. We highly recommend her if anyone needs a pet sitter.”

“Mandy accepted a last minute booking when our original plans fell through and did wonderfully with my Dad’s three cats, including one that needed medicated. She took pictures as she could (2 of our cats are skiddish) and updated us when she had to contend with a snowstorm. Overall wonderful pet sitter!”

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve been responsible for all types of animals; dogs have always been my favorite though. From the smallest of shih tzus to the largest of Great Danes, I’ve taken care of them all. I’ve had experience with senior dogs and dogs with special needs such as diabetes and epilepsy. I’m willing to take your fur babies to the dog park for loads of fun or just an easy walk around the neighborhood. I do have fairly flexible availability. I’m a proud dog mom of a wonderful, yet goofy, Great Pyrenees and recently adopted a cat. I have the most experience with large/giant dog breeds, but love all shapes and sizes! I live in an area that gives me easy access to most of the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas. I currently work 3 days a week, so I generally have flexibility with my schedule. My husband is also regularly home. I do have a toddler, so some notice is required. I have a fully fenced in yard and a pet-friendly house, complete with washable rugs 😉. My husband and I have always treated our own pets and others as members of the family.

“Vanessa is absolutely amazing! Our cat Jasper showed signs he was not feeling well while we were away and Vanessa went above and beyond by taking him to the vet for us and making sure he was ok!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for clients, friends, neighbors, and family since I was a child. Dogs and cats are literally my favorite people! I am a compassionate retired RN and have volunteered with several cat rescue organizations over the years. I have also worked with several trainers to help my own dog recover from previous trauma. I will treat your beloved pet like the royalty they deserve to be. I am a retired RN, so my schedule is basically my own. I only list available days and times that I know I will be available 100% for you and your fur baby. Safety for your pet and home is my number one priority. Your fur babies and your home will be cared for as if they/it were my own.

“Alyssa did an excellent job checking in on our cat Stella while we were away. Stella is usually very shy around strangers, but we could tell that she had taken to Alyssa because she was happy and well-groomed. Alyssa made sure she had food and water and a clean litter box each day, and she took time to pet and play with Stella. We won’t hesitate to book Alyssa next time we are out of town, and we’ll definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a cat sitter.”

Richard G.
“Richard is a fellow friend and co-worker, he's very detail oriented and I would recommend him as caregiver to anyone. From knowing and observing Richard over the years I've known him, he puts his own animal's well being over anyone else I know. His dogs Pupp Pupp and Sparkles go with him everywhere. They are treated with the best care a pet owner could ask for. Vet appointments, socially taking them out, and the love he has for his babies are top notch. If I were need someone to lend care to my pets while I had other obligations, Richard would be the first person I'd call.”
