My dog is reactive and fearful and she met with me multiple times before the sit as well as was extremely responsive throughout the sit and any issues that popped up she dealt with amazingly. I highly recommend her for anyone who has dogs with any sort of behavioral issues as she is incredibly patient and kind as well as understanding with them and doesn’t push them beyond their boundaries. She’s extremely knowledgeable of dog body language and behavior, which is extremely important to me as someone who works with dogs professionally both on and off Rover. She also asked a lot of questions about my dog and his behavior and how to best interact with him while I’m away. She sent lots of pictures and videos. Despite my boy being temperamental and having tummy issues while I was away I had a fantastic experience and my baby boy was as well taken care of as he could have been. I had so much anxiety leaving him while I went out of state and she made me feel a million times better. She’s also an amazing person and I’m so happy I’ve gotten to know her throughout the last few weeks and I’m sure we will stay connected. I’ve even considered bringing my boy back to the area before I go on long trips in the future after I move hours away just to make sure he is around her because of how much I valued her service this stay!”

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. For the past eight or so years I’ve been pet sitting for family and friends. I have experience caring for sick/injured pets that require a more delicate touch. Whether it’s puppies and kittens or little old ladies and gents I can guarantee the best care that fulfill your pets needs. I am currently taking a gap year before starting my masters and am free most days, so I’ll be able to dedicate as much time as is needed for your furry friends I have a car of my own with pet friendly seats that can accommodate most pets and I am willing to drive to and from homes in order to provide care.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was a child. I have vast experience with anxious or nervous dogs and ones with high energy. I have cared for dogs from Chihuahuas and Dachshunds to Great Danes, Mastiffs, and Huskies and currently regularly dog sit two dogs. I have taken care of puppies as well as older dogs with special needs including two diabetic dachshunds that went blind. I also have no issue with changing diapers for dogs as needed! I am currently available any time except for Thursdays from 3:30-5:30pm for pet care! I don’t mind checking on pets very early or very late in the day either! I prefer to meet the client/pet prior to beginning pet sitting to ensure I can ask all necessary questions for their care. I have experience with anxious animals and am fast at picking up on each animals specific preferences.

“Cassie did an excellent job taking care of my spoiled kitties. She helped me out with a series of short stays, when my regular sitter was not available. I could tell from the pictures I received the cats were comfortable with her, she got belly flops and head boops. Cassie was great about taking care of the house too, before she left, she cleaned the linens, took out the garbage and swept the floors. It was great to come home to well cared for cats and a clean home. Would recommend and definitely will rebook.”

About: Hello! My name is Carrie, please allow me to introduce myself and explain to you why I quit my Monday through Friday 9 to 5 job. The short answer is simply because I love animals and from a very young age I wanted to work with animals and I wanted to help them. My passion has always been about helping animals so I helped anyway I could. I first started out working at a Pet Grooming Salon and there I bathed the animals, it was an awesome learning experience and I loved it! I am a firm believer that things only set in motion when it's time for them to happen, I tried to force my dreams into happening sooner and it never worked but I still wanted to find a way to help, even if it wasn't this big dream I had envisioned. I reached out to ASPCA, I participated in fundraisers for the Bella SPCA Foundation, I have rescued a few cats over the years and I began pet sitting for my family and friends and anyone who I could get my name out to and all the while working at a job that I was good at but it never fed my soul. "There is the most dangerous risk of all, the risk of not doing what you love, on the bet that you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later." This year my dream set in motion and I became in a position where I can focus on a Career working with animals full time. I do have two cats of my own; I have a 13 y/o Tuxedo cat, her name is Peaches Mari and I have a 2 y/o cat named Neko Lilo. I rescued Neko when she was 6 weeks old. Peaches and Neko are polar opposites but they love each other. I will love and care for your pet as much as I do my two cats, they're not "just a pet," they're my family. I cater to my cats, some may say they're spoiled but I like to think they're loved. I want your cat or dog to feel loved, safe and happy when I care for them. I am available for your temporary and permanent needs. I have committed to making this a full time Career. I am available to you whenever I'm needed, whether it be for your temporary or permanent needs. I currently live in a rent house and eventually I hope to have a space available to board at my future home but until then I'll be able to take care of your fur babies in their own safe space. I offer drop in visits and walking as well. I can ensure you that I will leave your home just as it was and I will check that all your doors are closed and locked before I leave each time. When I do drop in visits at your home I will feed them and make sure they have plenty of water. I will let them outside to potty or I will walk them; I will clean litter boxes too and I will clean up any messes that are made. You can be comfortable knowing they will receive all the love, attention and care while they're with me and please let me know if your animal has any special needs, out of the normal care, that will need to be met while they're in my care. I have training in CPR/First Aid and I can administer oral medications. I invest 100 percent of my spare time into Rover, I no longer have a 9 to 5 job; so I am available for any drop in visits or walks that you may need. I am very flexible with your schedule. I will care for them, in your home, however you need. I like to keep them on their original schedules as much as possible, so I will do everything you would normally do for them.

About: I have watch friends and family’s dogs as well as on Rover for over 10 years. I love all the floofy dogs and love going on long walks and going to the dog park. Your furry friend will be in great hands with Kaia (my baby) and I. I am currently not working and have all the time in the world to watch your sweet pup. I have availability currently 24/7 to watch your family pet closely. I would treat your dog like they are part of the family. Kaia is truly my firstborn and she is more than spoiled. She loves activity so we will go for all the walks and play fetch or hide and seek.

About: Growing up on land in Oklahoma, I've had experience with at least 30 dogs.... raising and caring for canines of all ages, breeds, and sizes; from a Chunky Chow-Chow, to a chattery Chihuahua... I understand dogs (and cats) very well. Whether it's 10 days, 10 months, or 10 years... Let's keep our pets happy while the'yre here! Over the summer my availability is generally pretty open. You can reach out the same day, but of course earlier is better. If you are in a situation where you need your pet walked, or cared for while you are away and it came about at the last minute, I can probably help you out. I learn the dog or cat I'm working with. Each pet is different even within the same breed. For dogs the day looks like a walk, some play, rubs, and their food and water if needed. For cats the day looks like butt scratches (when allowed), something stimulating, food, water, and peace 😽
