Policies Hi, I'm Mary! 14 years ago, My pup Lee and I started the business of walking city streets, running, swimming, hiking, boarding friends, and house sitting; all in the name of dog! Since his passing, my twin four year olds and I are looking forward to making new pupper friends. We live in a beautiful home on an organic farm. This year marks the 14th year and third state in which I've tended to puppies, dogs and senior puppers. Since moving to Vermont 8 years ago, my home has been referred to as "farm camp." This is because: pups who are able to enjoy the farm experience off leash! While I enjoy tending to the greater dog population in its entirety, senior dogs, ones who take medications, those living with physical and developmental ailments and pups nearing end of life are my specialty. While the latest DSM may not have nature deficit disorder printed on its pages, I know it effects not only people but more importantly, dogs! I value and understand that exercise specifically in the wilderness provides a focused energy released followed by contentment. Starting in Providence, R.I., Lee and I took off walking city dogs. Over time, I curated two hiking packs of dogs. All off leash, good recall and, worked together navigating trails with minimal tiffs. Between my city walkers and packs, I began boarding. While I had my regulars, I wanted to offer support in other ways. Middle of the night emergency visits, families dealing with unforeseen events and parents who needed a break even though, their pup was nearing end of life. I've waited with dogs to board planes and have been at the airport to pick them up. Arranging wedding arrivals/departures and transport to/from vets. On several occasions, I've had the honor of being there for a pup's end of life. Since this is a new space for your pup, it's important that we stick to your in home structure as much as possible. This allows them to feel more comfortable and stress free. This means I will ask for a list of usual commands, eating times, toys, blankets and beds. If your pup has any quirks, I like to know! The more information, the better! When scheduling pick up and drop off times: if you're going to be late please kindly send a text update. I am extremely flexible with times! Not communicating information is a big issue and can lead to scheduling conflicts. For every 45 minutes that you're late and lack communication you will be charged an additional $10. My rate for overnight stays are based on a 24 hour period. If your drop off to pick up time goes over the 24 hour period, I charge a prorated amount to match the time difference. If your drop off to pick up time is less then 24 hours, it is a flat rate of $40. Thanks for reading and I look forward to speaking with you. I'm the former owner of a dog hiking business. After having children and working in the freelance world, the longing to continue to work outside with pups is stronger than ever. I currently am open to any dog; city walkers, dogs in training and puppies. I offer consistency and stability in leash training and proper walking etiquette. In the past, I only took senior, free range puppers. While dogs NEVER left my sight, I was strict on free rangers. If clients had any concerns about their dogs recall, we'd have not been the right fit.

About: I have had dogs for all of my life. Through the years I have had a Great Dane, a Doberman, and several mixed-breed dogs. I understand the unique needs of different breeds and am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine as I work from home, managing multiple online jobs. This allows me to be flexible and available throughout the day to give your pet attention, exercise, and any care they need, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-cared for while you're away. I live in a somewhat secluded area, which makes it easy to take dogs outside for walks or playtime, either on-leash or off-leash, depending on their comfort level and training. My home has plenty of space for dogs to play indoors, so they can stay active and entertained no matter the weather. I prioritize a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for pets, both inside and outside.

About: Lost my fur baby almost 2 years ago. I raised her from a puppy, I also had another dog as well along with cats. My other dog was a rescue so I’m well versed in dogs with anxiety and other social challenges. I do not shy away from dogs with all kinds of different behaviors and quirks. I love dogs (and cats!) and miss having a dog by my side. I would love to help care for other’s fur babies when they’re in need of outside support. I have a degree in Animal Science and am well versed in animal care. I can clip nails, give meds, care for wounds, support with behavioral challenges and socialization, grooming, etc. I have 11 acres where I live and can provide ample exercise through hikes in the woods, I am also open to taking them places like dog parks or vet appointments. I am available and able to handle multiple animals at a time. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life and have done pet, farm and house sitting since I was a kid off and on throughout the years. I have consistently watched a coworkers dog when she is away as well as other friends and family. I currently work full time and have availability nights and weekends. Evenings I’m available any time after 5pm. I’m available any time on the weekends. I have the flexibility of working remote from home and can if needed for weekday over nights (for those that can’t be left for long periods). I intend to switch to part time employment once I have more consistent clients. I have 11 acres of land to walk and hike with dogs on or off leash. I have a cat of my own and separate housing available for dogs that aren’t cat friendly. There is an old dog on property (family member’s in separate housing) that is dog & people friendly. He stays inside in seperate housing except for potty breaks. Dog is available for play for the right fit.

About: I have taken care of many animals, from aquatic to a variety furry friends. I am always willing to offer a hand in any kind of care or training that is needed to be kept up while their humans are away so that you can be sure the critters are getting the best care and love while you’re away. I am a paraeducator at a school that is less than a mile from my house. I come home everyday at lunch time and usually home by 3:15. Walks and playtime are a necessity for our fur babies and they love having friends to play with! I have 2 female dogs, both very friendly. We have an underground fence, though I would keep your fur baby on a leash when we go outside. We have a nice yard, about half an acre, live near a stream and love taking walks around the neighborhood.

About: Ive been taking care of pets since high-school, from great danes to kitties! Including but not limited to great-danes, pitbulls, hounds, labs and kitties! I am good with animals of all temperaments, from timid and not sure to excited to see anything! I love all animals and would love to help with all your pet and house needs. About: Hiya! My names Elias. I offer my services to pet sit and take care of your dogs, cats, fish, snakes, you name it. I have had cats and dogs my whole life, currently 2 cats and 2 dogs that live with my parents while I work to settle, and have worked both with a diabetic cat as well as disabled cats at a shelter back in highschool. I have multiple regular obligations a week both on and off of Rovers services so my schedule may depend on what I have that day over all, but I will always work closely with you to try and find a time that works. During our meet and greet I’ll ask how you prefer your pup be handled both outside and inside, what their schedule is like, and if you possibly have things written down I’d be able to use as a reminder while I sit them. About: I have pets my whole entire life from small animals to large. I also was in Vet Tech for a year & pet sit for a bunch of family members:) I currently work full-time at West Lebanon fit body Boot Camp. During the week I don’t go to work until 9/9:30, I also can take a lunch when needed! I leave work around 6pm. I can be flexible as needed, and sometimes can have schedule shifts. About: I've recently become petless and would like to remedy that situation by spending some time with your dog. Having grown up around dogs, I'm very well experienced in young, middle and older aged dog care having worked at my friend's doggie daycare for 2 years during Hurricane Sandy. I was also a dog walker in Manhattan and Brooklyn during Covid. I moved back to New England after 20+ years in NYC. I walk a lot and I'd enjoy a companion. Or if you just need me to stop by to say hello and give them a little attention, I'm your gal. I work from home so have the flexibility to ensure your pup is well taken care of at all points of the day and night. Your pup will be taken out at least 4x per day, morning, lunch, early evening and late evening with two of those outings being longer walks/plays. I'm communicative, responsive, flexible and easy to work with. Your loved one will feel relaxed and at home. I live in a dog friendly area with close access to multiple parks and walking areas. I will respect your care instructions with the occasional treat here and there.

About: I've taken care of big dogs, small dogs, in between dogs. I've taken care of young kitties, mature kitties, and elder kitties. They all were adored by me. I currently work remotely, so I have plenty of time to be present for the needs of those I'm caring for. Working this way allows for a more spacious and flexible day and week. I am easily adaptable and can work within the needs of the homes I visit. Every home and every care situation is unique and requires fluidity.

About: I've lived with and cared for dogs for many years of my adult life. I've regularly taken my friends and housemates dogs for runs, hikes, and even watched them for weekends at a time. I enjoy the company of dogs and have a natural affinity for them. I have flexible availability due to working part time from home. About: I’ve been pet sitting as long as I remember for friends families especially while growing up and always had dogs and other animals of my own, and now for clients here for a few years, and I’m a corgi mom myself to my 11-year-old, Bowen! I’m super flexible, communicative, and always happy to help whenever I can! I travel often and may be out of area sometimes, but on the plus side I cover a lot of ground and can help a wider range of clients. I currently do not take animals to my home but I do drop in visits and walks for my clients if they’re pet needs relief and if I’m available then I’m happy to help! I always check that the water bowl is full, and you can let me know if I need to feed a meal as well.

About: I am dog mom of two; I have two golden retrievers and have experience working with puppies and also adapting their training skills and making sure they are stimulated. A stimulated dog, is a happy dog. I also have experience making healthy homemade cooked meals, as I feed my dogs daily a healthy home cooked diet. I currently work from work Monday- Friday but have a flexible schedule and also available for weekend work. I currently am looking for side work to maintain a busy schedule and lifestyle.
