8. Hannah C.
“I was the luckiest dog when Hannah was living close to us. She would take care of me when my parents would leave, sometimes for days. She would sometimes let me stay with her and if I chose to stay at my house, she would check on me all the time and make sure everything was perfect. She would take me for walks and play ball! When she comes to visit now,and I hear that she is coming, I wait by the door. Then the happy anxieties take over me when I see her come up the driveway. I sure wish she lived close to us again, cause she is one special person to me. Love, Copper”

13. Morgan B.

“Morgan was everything we were looking and more! Kind, courteous, and clearly an animal lover at heart! We have two large, crazy dogs and she was confident yet gentle with them from the moment they greeted her at the door. Our 16 year old cat who doesn’t come out for many people warmed up to her quickly too. We wouldn't hesitate to have her come stay with our animals again!!”

15. Meghan D.
About: I was born an animal lover, starting with my love for horses I grew to fall in love with every creature I come in contact with. I've worked on farms from the age of 10 so I could get horse back riding lessons. Then worked my way to full time groom at a performance horse stable at the age of 16. At the age of 17 I started working as a part time kennel attendant at a veterinary hospital and moving up to a technician assistant, then vet tech. I have also been a full time pet groomer for 7 years. Helping to run a fantastic grooming salon that specializes in cats and medical/behavior issued animals that has strengthened my abilities and attention to details in caring for pets of all types and sizes! My daily schedule is currently wide open while i make my dream come true of building my very own grooming salon here in the mountains of Vermont. I have a fenced yard that your pups are free to roam in while being attended. They will also have the ability to play or socialize with my 3 dogs as long as they get along! If I stay at your home I will stick to any routine you have with your pets and treat them as my own. I am very active and love a good walk or hike in the woods.

16. Hayley R.

“Our dogs loved having Hayley to hang out with. She has a caring, calm and confident energy about her. We will definitely contact her again in the future to stay with the dogs”

17. Bambi D.

“Bambi was so easy to work with. The pups and kitten were in such amazing spirits when we returned, and the house was even cleaner than we left it! She was very responsive, and even took a trip to the house before the stay to meet the gang, and get to know the place. Highly recommend.”

About: 1.Introduction 2.Description of home 3. Brief overview of experience 4. Policies Hi, I'm Mary! 14 years ago, My pup Lee and I started the business of walking city streets, running, swimming, hiking, boarding friends, and house sitting; all in the name of dog! Since his passing, my twin four year olds and I are looking forward to making new pupper friends. We live in a beautiful home on an organic farm. This year marks the 14th year and third state in which I've tended to puppies, dogs and senior puppers. Since moving to Vermont 8 years ago, my home has been referred to as "farm camp." This is because: pups who are able to enjoy the farm experience off leash! While I enjoy tending to the greater dog population in its entirety, senior dogs, ones who take medications, those living with physical and developmental ailments and pups nearing end of life are my specialty. While the latest DSM may not have nature deficit disorder printed on its pages, I know it effects not only people but more importantly, dogs! I value and understand that exercise specifically in the wilderness provides a focused energy released followed by contentment. Starting in Providence, R.I., Lee and I took off walking city dogs. Over time, I curated two hiking packs of dogs. All off leash, good recall and, worked together navigating trails with minimal tiffs. Between my city walkers and packs, I began boarding. While I had my regulars, I wanted to offer support in other ways. Middle of the night emergency visits, families dealing with unforeseen events and parents who needed a break even though, their pup was nearing end of life. I've waited with dogs to board planes and have been at the airport to pick them up. Arranging wedding arrivals/departures and transport to/from vets. On several occasions, I've had the honor of being there for a pup's end of life. Since this is a new space for your pup, it's important that we stick to your in home structure as much as possible. This allows them to feel more comfortable and stress free. This means I will ask for a list of usual commands, eating times, toys, blankets and beds. If your pup has any quirks, I like to know! The more information, the better! When scheduling pick up and drop off times: if you're going to be late please kindly send a text update. I am extremely flexible with times! Not communicating information is a big issue and can lead to scheduling conflicts. For every 45 minutes that you're late and lack communication you will be charged an additional $10. My rate for overnight stays are based on a 24 hour period. If your drop off to pick up time goes over the 24 hour period, I charge a prorated amount to match the time difference. If your drop off to pick up time is less then 24 hours, it is a flat rate of $40. Thanks for reading and I look forward to speaking with you. I recently sold one of my businesses to focus on an endeavor I'm more passionate about, free Lance writing. I'm also enrolled in school first time. I only take senior, free range puppers. While your dog will NEVER be out of my sight, I only allow free rangers. If you have any concerns about your dogs recall, we are not the right family for you.

19. Ava F.

“Ava was great with our little dog. She always came to give her food and take her out for a walk. She changed her pad and picked up her poop. She took out the trash. Super recommended. I would use her services again.”

20. Kimberly L.

“We needed to find a house/dog sitter for the weekend due to an unexpected situation and Kim was great. She responded quickly and was able to meet me and the pups same day. She was personable and I felt very comfortable leaving her to watch my home and pups. She was very communicative through the weekend, sent lots of pictures, and even left us a sweet welcome home gift and note. 10/10 would recommend and use again.”
