About: It's pretty simple - I love dogs and I work from home. Having recently said goodbye to my own best boy, Gary (a squishy English bulldog mix), I can guarantee that I'll get as much happiness out of seeing your dog as your dog will hopefully get from seeing me! I understand how important it is to know your pet is comfortable in your absence. I will treat yours as my own and send you as many updates as you'd like! Some key skills that may come in handy: - Walking dogs with leash reactivity - Experience with senior pets and those with medical needs - Administering medications, injections, paw wraps, etc. I'm currently working from home full-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play and love on your pups! I'm available for boarding all day, every day and would be happy to have a four-legged coworker around :) I have a fenced yard to keep your fur baby safe while exploring and getting lots of sniffs! We also keep a clean and tidy home to ensure your pet is always safe. Of course, there may be times when I need to step out (I'm human after all!), but will be happy to abide by any requests you have. Things like bowls, leashes, light up collars, pet gates, and a crate can be made available.

About: I am new to Richmond and looking to explore with my pup, Rubens. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with other dogs. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, and energy levels. Would love for my dog to have a play mate during the day. Using Rover to keep a routine and explore Richmond while I look for a full time position. I am currently new to Richmond and in between jobs. I walk my dog anywhere from 5-12x a day from 15-75 minutes (depending on weather, need to get out of the house, etc.). My job right now is to enjoy the outdoors with my dog and yours! Rubens and I welcome all other dogs as family! I live in a first floor apt with a small fenced backyard (only for small dogs). There is a hallway that runs from the front door to the back yard area, which is where Rubens likes to do zoomies or be a watch guard dog for the doors. As far as behaviors, Rubens is allowed on my furniture and has a small basket of toys that he shares. Treats are only during training and water is down at all times. We are pretty flexible, but can also set rules per your request to stay on your schedule/routine.

I grew up with an Australian Shepherd who can be very anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. I believe every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both! I will stay in regular communication, providing updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing!
