About: Having to leave my own dogs at home while I'm at work, I understand the struggle. I will give your furry friend the care and attention that they miss while you are away. I'm a professional horse farrier. When I'm not out shoeing horses I'm always training my own dogs or friends dogs. I have always had a love for dog walking and spending quality time with animals. If I'm not shoeing horses, I will be available to your furry friends. I currently am part time and get a new schedule once a week. Contact me and I'll let you know what days I can come out. About: I lived and worked one year on an Alpaca farm caring for them and great Pyranese puppies. I have year and half of volunteering at Sammie friend shelter with the dogs. Friends have paid me to pet sit overnight. I use to have 10 goats. I would milk them and make cheese. Also would do goat packing trips. I joined a traveling horse caravan in gautamala Taken riding and natural horseman lessons. Have trained friends dogs. Been a dog owner of four dogs . I will be doing boarding in my house with younger kids so unfortunately, if you’re a get dog does not get along with kids I cannot have them bored with me at this time. I have my kids part through the week and do massage when it comes up. My schedule is very Flexible and open to find time to go on adventures and walks I care for them by walking and letting them hang with me in the house or backyard. About: Been a current proud owner of nine goats, four cats and two dogs. I've had experience in the veterinary field, worked with care for livestock and house pets. I am currently available to provide 24/7 pet care on the weekends. During the week I am working part time at a day care in Nevada City, with shifts consisting from 5 to 8 hours. I typically have Mondays off and am off work by 5:00 or 5:30. Before I relocated, we did lots of walks around our neighborhood with our young shepherd mix and five year old cockapoo. They are always presented many occasions to use the bathroom and spend time outside with us.

About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). We had to put down our 14-year-old chocolate lab named Yotis a few years ago, and was my Husband’s best friend! My Son’s 12 year old German Shepard Zani passed a couple years ago as well, and she was the best dog addition to this family. We have always had dogs and cats in the home, and all are friends with each other and they each have unique personalities! We have a dog park nearby as well! The oldest cat I have had was a tabby named Chica, and got her at 8 weeks old when I was 16, and she was 15 when she passed!!! Our pets are our fur family and we love them all!!! Kids are all grown up now, and my Husband is gone a lot as a Fire Captain, so I am more than willing and available to housesit dogs and/or cats in your home. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and pets. My Husband works 3 days on, 4 days off and likes to help with your pets as well. He is a Dog Whisperer, and I am the Cat Lady! We love taking nature walks, and have both been on Rover since before COVID in 2019. I am available at any time due to my kids being older now, amd we don’t currently have a dog of our own. I love getting out of the house and exploring new neighborhoods and areas especially during Spring and summer. We have resided in Nevada County for decades! We don’t dog board due to having too many household members and pets already, but in your home they are taken care of exactly how they should be. With compassion and love.

About: I have always had many animals growing up, I've taken care of little dogs and big dogs, over 90 bunnies, chickens, horses, cows, alpacas, goats at once. I lived on a ranch most of my life where I had at most, 40 goats, 4 cows, 5 horses, many dogs, many cats, 30 chickens on average, 10 alpacas. Cats are my favorite animal. I have pet sit before on many occasions. Not that it helps on this app but I have gave medicine, tended to, bandaged, cut out of fences( some animals get caught in fences), and birthed animals. I am very familiar with there needs and have a hard working, loving attitude. I am open to any schedule, please message me for details. Same day scheduling is just alright with me. Scheduling in advance is much appreciated. Open to all animals. When I take care of your pets, I take care of them like my own and with attention to detail. I am loving to them and make sure to meet all of your and their needs. I am respectful to the home and leave it exactly how I entered. Additionally I pick up after them and do any in home care such as cleaning and throwing out the trash if necessary. I stay in contact and respond very quickly for a safe and trusting environment.

About: I have always had pets and I love all animals. I have taken care of cats, dogs, horses, burros, an emu, pigs, chickens, and even a bearded dragon. Several of our cats reached an old age (21!) where we made the decision to prolong their life by giving them subcutaneous IV's over the years. I am comfortable doing this as well as oral medications. I am very dependable and conscientious and would love to help you with your pets. I am semi-retired and am pretty flexible schedule-wise. I would be able to come to your home morning and evening to take care of your pets and home. I currently wish to take care of pets in your home only. I am happy to feed them, give them fresh water, take them outdoors for a walk (if wanted) and clean up after them. I will also give them lots of love and brush them if you like.

About: I have been pet sitting for friends/neighbors since I was 12 years old. I grew up on a farm & raised dogs and kittens. This naturally led to a love of animals-- my first job was at a vet hospital where I stayed for several years & trained to become a vet tech. In this role, I also house & pet sat for clients. Now I work from home and find that I miss the company of my coworkers. Please let your pets keep me company! (Fur babies always were my favorite "coworkers" anyway). I have plenty of time on my hands for pet sitting & dog walking. I am a dog mom to a tenderhearted 9 year old golden cocker, and 8 year old orange tabby. I am trained in medication administration (oral and subcutaneous) and first aid. My yard is not fully fenced but I live on just over 0.5 acres and use a leash when taking dogs out to potty. I have a fenced deck and secured sun room so your fur baby can still get sun time in a secured setting. For dogs that want more time outside such as for longer walks and fetch, I enjoy going for longer walks at my nearby nature preserve or, if you prefer, can transport your fur baby to the local dog park for some fetch time. I work from home 5 days a week and have a flexible schedule to fit your pets' needs. I can design my day around needing to arrive at your home for specific feeding or walk times as needed. I own my own business so my schedule is very flexible. When your pets are under my care, I will not be working, so that your pets have my full and undivided attention. I am available to watch your fur baby in my home, or I can come to your home for pet sitting and/or dog walking services. When I walk with a dog, they are always on leash. When I watch your pets, I am here to attend to their needs and your requests. I am very attuned to animals’ needs and how they communicate. I love to curl up on the couch and snuggle your fur baby if that’s what they want. I’m also just as happy to get on the floor to play with your pet, whether that’s with their toys, laser pointer, etc.
